These guys are amazing!!!! I was referred to them from John at Sota Solutions. From Danielle the office Manager to Our Technician Kyle, who was very professional, curtious, and understood exactly the services we requested. Danielle emailed us a copy of our invoice right away. Looking forward to them coming to do our winterization on our irrigation system.

I do not plan on using Hartigan again. I hired them to remove the edging and wood chips from where a play set use to be. They were to then fill the space with black dirt and seed it. There was also one bush that was to be dug up and a new one replanted.
Two college freshman home on summer break came to do the job. There was not enough black dirt ordered to fill in the space so the yard is still not even in that area and a tripping hazard. I had to reseed the space the following summer as there was not enough seed used originally.
They made a huge mess removing the bush and needed guidance on how to plant a new one. They then watched me move the rocks and mulch back around the new bush.
I would have been better off doing this entire project myself.

We are EXTREMELY pleased with the patio and retaining wall that Hartigan Outdoors installed for us. From the initial walk thru with Jack, the planning walk thru with Miguel, and the constant communication with the installers, the whole team was receptive to our requests and were very flexible to ensure we got the result we wanted. Not having a super detailed plan for what exactly we wanted, we relied on the expertise of the foreman and the workers to give us some ideas and feedback. It was very clear that they knew what they were doing because their recommendations were spot on and the patio looks great. I was very impressed with how quickly they worked and completed the project in a timely manner as well.
We would definitely work with these guys again and will refer them to friends. If you need any work done, but aren't sure exactly what you want, I'd encourage you to reach out to them and get an estimate at least. Ask for some feedback and see if they can give you some creative ideas for your project. It worked out for us.

I reached out to Hartigan outdoors with many questions last summer, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. My overall budget was $150K and they didn’t let the project go over $130K. I admire their integrity, honesty and professionalism.

Truthfully, I reached out with very little details as my original landscape company back out due to personal issues, but the person who answered the phone at Hartigan, Robyn. Oh my gosh! She was SO PROFESSIONAL!asked me all the right questions and then put me in touch with Jack Hartigan himself.

Jack met with me 2 days later, within 3 business days I received an estimate that had all of my wants. Unfortunately, life happened and some unexpected expenses came up, but Jack and his team provided different options, and made me feel very comfortable with order changes. Danielle in the billing department was very thorough with the work order changes and balances throughout the project.

Manuel, the operations manager was wonderful to work with and he was here frequently making sure his team was taken care of with cold drinks during the heat of summer. Manuel made sure to walk me through the project before, during all changes, and at the end of the project to make sure all my questions were answered.

I don’t typically write positive reviews, as professionalism and good service should be the standard, and it is much easier to complain. That being said, Hartigan Outdoors has been an outstanding company to work with. The work performed has been nothing but outstanding, and the professional approach by both Danielle and Robyn in the front office has been refreshing to say the least. Keep doing what you do Hartigan Outdoors, and thank you for the exceptional service.

I have used hartigan outdoors for previous sprinkler blowouts. Fall of 24 was different, I had to cancel TWO times(morning of) ahead of schedule because I was not going to be present for the blow-out as they need access to garage. We ended up using a different provider for the blow out(weeks later) and keep receiving a bill for service that was never provided. Not only that, there has been clear written communication to Robyn about the bill which was suppose to be taken care of.

Instead, my fiance just received a nasty text saying we can't use you again for service because we canceled because our kid was sick? Buddy, you need to read the transcript of the conversation before spewing false information on the events that happened.

Not only that you state someone came and we turned them away for service? What a complete lie as that NEVER happened and no one was home.

Does it state Wed ve responsibility for service never provided.

Can send you transcript with your office staff for whatever type of customer service training you so desperately need.

I was referred to Hartigan Outdoors in 2022 by my neighbor, but I didn’t sign with them until early 2023. My sister and couple of neighbors had a great experience with them as well.

I was impressed to hear that they still had my records and Jack remembered the details of my project. Maybe because I was so picky. :-)

Most of our family are snow birds, and love the South American heat, so we only get to enjoy our home for 5 months out of the year and our neighbors and family love it when we host.

I will be a customer again, because they can walk the talk! My boulder wall, and paver patio, and fire pit turned out better than I imagined.

Hartigan Outdoors did a great job! We hired them to remulch all the areas in our yard. The whole process went smooth and they were easy to work with. They completed the project quickly and cleaned up well when finished. Thanks so much!

Unprofessional. Still finding the crews cigarette butts in the work and surrounding areas. The retaining wall we ordered was not done as planned. They walled off our backyard when it was supposed to open it up. Bricks were busted up and the wall was crooked. When we asked for it to be fixed, the crew very reluctantly offered to fix the small part that was crooked. It still hasn't been fixed 2 years later. No supervisor was ever present. We paid $15K for this wall and need to spend a ton more to have it fixed now. I would not use Hartigan again, nor recommend them to anyone.

Oh, and after reading the other reviews, I will post my invoice here if Hartigan replies with "there is no record of you in our system." That's a clever line guys.

Hartigan outdoors has been helping me with forest and property management for the past 12 years. They do an incredible job; they are careful with even the largest equipment, quick to address questions or comments and always focused on a sound repour with the customer. The owner Jack Hartigan sets a high bar for service and customer satisfaction. Just a great company to work with!!

Highly recommend Hartigan Outdoors. Jack works with integrity and patience. We first connected with him about this project three years prior to actually being able to give the go ahead and each spring when I would reach out he would come out and discuss the project, provide insight and suggestions, and create the proposal without hesitation. He was flexible and helped talk through changes while the project was working to ensure that we were getting a finished product we were happy about. He was on point with all of his communication.

Enrique and Carlos did an amazing job paying attention to detail and going above and beyond with helping me lay out and change parts of the project mid-work.

After a somewhat rocky time, Jack Hartigan, the owner, proved beyond all doubt he is running a company that is very capable of delivering a high quality landscaping project, that he will listen to your questions and concern, and he will make sure your project is completed to your satisfaction. Would highly recommend Hartigan Outdoors for your landscaping projects. I have worked with several other landscape companies in the past at prior houses and communication has been poor with other companies. The communication from everyone we worked with at Hartigan Outdoors was fantastic. They did great work, kept the job site tidy at the end of each day. The workers on site were always willing to stop to chat, answer questions, and were very courteous when we needed them to move vehicles to get in and out of our driveway.

We love Hartigan Outdoors! This is the second time we’ve used them. Jack planned our patio for us and recommended the materials that would look best for our project. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result! Its beautiful!

Update: Drainage issues developed with the above patio, requiring warranty repair. Hartigan Outdoors thoroughly and professionally solved the problem. They are a pleasure to work with. We appreciate all of the attention and work they provided.

I have been with Hardagan Snow Removal for quite a few years now, they are always always professional and very very patient with their customer service towards me and my home. I would recommend them very highly To anyone who wishes to have a job well done with their yard I personally would give them a five star rating! So glad that I found them to come help me every day with Snow Removal and summertime Lawn Care God Bless Jack and his team.

Warranty support for any work completed involves having to follow up 3-4 times before anyone even acknowledges your concerns. Emails are unresponsive, and I have low confidence in getting my issues corrected. My last communications with Mike were over two weeks past, with no follow through to have a crew finalize corrections. This is inexcusable and should not be the experience for a paying customer.

Of all the landscaping companies we have worked with, Hartigan Outdoors has been the best. We are very happy with the outcome of our project. We get a lot of compliments. Their work has really added to the curb appeal of our home. We recommend Hartigan Outdoors and would use them again.

6 stars if I could! Hartigan is a great company to work with. Communication is outstanding, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They do it all, mow, fertilize, inground sprinkler repair. A must on speed dial for any homeowner.

Hartigan completed beautiful landscaping around our new deck and patio. The graded the area, added mulch and a built a rock boarder exactly as we wanted. We are very pleased with the service, communication and overall follow-through.

I have spent time working with Cindy Johnson at LNG. I am the Groundskeeper at 2 Condo buildings in Farmington. We were interested in some tree planting and some general landscape projects. Of the 5 companies I went through, I felt that Cindy was the only person that really cared about our property. She was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to help me. Although unable to do business at this time, I hope to be able to do so in the near future. Thanks Cindy. Scott

Since they keep asking me to review them, I will. We contracted Hartigan last year to build a retaining wall for our driveway. They decided on their own, after missing several deadlines, to build the retaining wall after our driveway was poured, despite us hiring them to build the wall so that we could pour the driveway. They had a month and a half of missed deadlines before the pour. This was communicated to us AFTER they missed the deadlines.

They agreed to fix the driveway since it was their fault that the pour didn't have a retaining wall in place. The fix was terrible and it took months of follow up and withholding pay to get them to partially fix the problem.

Pros:
The wall we contracted them to build looks nice. Appears to be decent quality and hope that it lasts a long time.

Cons:
They missed every single deadline, including causing delays in our other projects.
They have terrible communications and would only let us know about changes in our project after we would call multiple times to figure out what was going on. About half our emails went ignored - including our initial pay dispute.
They made decisions on our project and then expected us to be okay with the changes. This resulted in our other projects looking significantly worse.
We started our project in June, by December the project was good enough that we finally paid them and wiped our hands of them.

Please don't waste your time or money with this company. I think their work is probably decent, I haven't had any issues with what they did build, but their project management team and customer service are abysmal.
