I needed 2 pine trees removed and new ones planted in its place. They looked at the trees and property and told me what they could do and the cost. They weren’t able to match my other trees, but offered an alternative. They also worked with me to add special soil when planting the new trees, and they agreed. The trees look great, they did an awesome job. I’ll use them again.

Ristau Property Maintenance did a fantastic job dethatching our lawn! A full, friendly crew arrived quickly after I reached out and left the yard looking great. They even went above and beyond by cleaning up some loose mulch. Plus, their price was the best around! I'm definitely done with my electric dethatcher and will be calling Ristau again. Highly recommend!

My deck furniture was easy to order and delivery was a breeze. They were very courteous and considerate of my property. It was put where I wanted it.

We've worked with 3 different landscape companies in the past 3 years and I can say Ristau is the only one of the three I can unequivocally recommend without hesitation.
The administrative staff was was professional and responsive, and our landscape crew took care both of the trees being installed and our existing yard and plantings, with no damage to sod or anything else at all.

We needed a landscaping facelift, and Ristau Property was great! They removed old mulch and fabric, laid new weed barrier, installed plantings, and placed new rock. They also installed a concrete pad for our sauna.

Quick turnaround between us accepting the estimate (which was very competitive) and the actual work being completed.
The crew was timely and worked hard for two days to complete our project.

We made an appointment for Valentine's Day and Kelsey was wonderful. She went through the products, options, order process and answered all of our questions. We ordered a glider with middle console and are so excited to see it when it's done.

This is a fantastic company to work with! I inquired about doing a fall cleanup, including gutters, on a large country property. I was given a very fair quote, that was accepted. Billing was simple and straightforward.

Now to the service, this was a very professional and dedicated crew. They were very efficient, completing my project in an amazingly rapid fashion. It went from an entire yard covered in white oak leaves to green grass without a leaf in sight in a couple hours.

My husband cut down a dead tree in our backyard. We hired Hartigan Outdoors to remove the wood piles. After the wood piles were removed they cleaned up the mess on the lawn. I was impressed. Totally thought I had my day planned as I was thinking the clean up would be my job!!

I have used Hartigan Outdoors for the last 3-4 years. Every time the work has been done professionally, timely with good communication. I highly recommend them for your residential projects!

Save yourself the time and headache and go with a different landscaping crew. I hired them to fertilize, aerate, and seed my lawn for a season so I could focus on other things, wish I'd just done it myself. Unsure if this company is run by children or what but the communication is abysmal. As other bad reviews will tell you... you never know when they're going to show up or what service they'll be doing. Not even asking for an exact day and time, maybe just let you know what week they'll be out. The only thing they don't have any issues with is sending an invoice immediately after service, and if you're lucky someone might pick up when you call to take your credit card info so you can pay.

I would not recommend this company for anything more complicated than basic lawn care. Workers showed up without instructions. A supervisor only came to the site after I called and requested it because there were problems. My siding was damaged and broken glass was left in my yard. Large flagstones were just left on the soil and not dug in/set properly. The finished job was sloppy and met the bare minimum of what had been promised.

I normally don’t post reviews but my experience with Hartigan Outdoors is worthy of a review. Jack and his team did a great job and greatly appreciate it!
