Constraction reviews in Shakopee, Minnesota

Jake made our roofing project the easiest and most hassle free experience ever. He sent a crew under Frank's supervision that shingled our home in one day, including an immaculate job of cleaning up. Everyone here was polite and professional, finished project looks great. Thanks Gold Star Contracting from a happy and satisfied customer.

On merely the experience of a next door neighbor who used them, after which I didn't even feel multiple estimates were necessary, I contacted Gold Star Contracting about a roof replacement. Jake was quick to respond, gave a thorough and honest assessment of my roof's condition and a more then fair cost estimate. His skilled and professional team completed the project quickly with quality materials and workmanship. They all made the project pain free and left me with a roof I am and will be proud to show off for many years to come!

I had a wonderful experience with Jake at gold star! The service, responsiveness, and quality was all top notch. I’ve been a part of a number of roofing projects and this has been my best experience so far! I’ll definitely be keeping Jake’s contact info for future jobs. Thanks!!

Jake and his team at Gold Star Contracting did an excellent job replacing the shingles on our roof! The process went smoothly, and the job only took one day to complete. Jake was readily available and his team was professional and respectful. I would recommend Jake and Gold Star Contracting for roof shingle replacement.

Jake and the Gold Star team get 5 of them from me! I have hired them for two residential roofing installs. First, my house. A few years back a handful of neighbors and I had claims sent through due to a bad hail storm. I was referred to Jake from a friend and happy I was. The Gold Star team showed up early, and to my surprise had my two story house completely done by 1:30pm! Other houses in the neighborhood had less ideal experiences, and the team also had left without finding a single nail on the ground. When my mother's house needed a new roof after 20 years, Jake's team knocked that out as well. This time, they found some of the boards above the garage were damaged and need to be replaced. Jake took care of getting the materials there so I did not have to do a thing. If you are looking for a great team with incredible service, get Gold Star.

I highly recommend Gold Star Contracting for your roofing/gutter needs. Jake and the crew at Gold Star Contracting's work is impeccable. From honest, prompt, and thorough communications from Jake to an installation crew that is hard working, quick turn, on-time, happy, great cleanup, the Gold Star team is exceptional from start to finish. After working with the team at my last house, Gold Star was the clear choice for this house. You can trust Gold Star will exceed your expectations.

Jake and his team are phenomenal! They do top notch work. The crew was here at 7:30 and wrapped up at 3:30. Jake was super helpful in selecting a great color. Totally recommend them!

I'm a repeat customer for Jake and Gold Start contracting. Jake, was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process with quick response time and he made sure to answer all of my questions thoroughly. The team replaced the roof within a day and keep me informed throughout. Great clean up job afterwards.

wow! I called. Jake came. Claims adjuster came. He and Jake talked. Shingles arrived in two days. House & garage roofs were completed in what seemed no time at all. Neighbors are still waiting. Installation crew was polite, caring and efficient.

Gold Star Contracting did an excellent job on replacing the shingles on our roof. In the hot weather it only took a day and the clean up was good too. I love the color. All for a reasonable price. I also had some gutter work done to match the color

Jake and his team did an excellent job replacing our roof. He was flexible, had good communication, and patient with questions. He also worked well with my insurance company to complete the repair.

We had our full roof replaced with Gold Star and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I did my due diligence and got quotes from five total companies and Jake with Gold Star stood out from the rest immediately. He was very honest, upfront, and quick with communication throughout the entire process and was gracious to walk me through the confusing insurance stuff. If you aren’t sure who you can trust with your roof replacement, know you can trust Jake and his team.

I needed a new roof as the current was aging and insurance didn't want to cover it any longer. I worked with Jake and he was prompt and clear on answering my questions. The price was competitive and choose to redo some gutter work too. The roof work was completed in a one day and was cleaned up nicely. I had some concerns with the gutter work and they were quick to come out and fix it, twice even. I'm quite happy with the work done and the service provided.
