Davey Tree was great to work with! I explained my concerns regarding the trees in my backyard and requested they assess for safety. They established a plan and when the initial tree cutters did not complete the job as it was discussed they came out to complete it to ensure not only our satisfaction but safety as well. Would recommend 100%

I love Davey Tree. They are incredibly responsive to your needs and communicate quickly and with lots of good information. We have had big jobs done (very well and professionally) and little jobs done. Amy knows her trees. We had threee trees go down on a recent evening. I emailed Amy around 6:00 p.m. and they were out the next morning with a big crew.

Company is trimming trees on my street. I moved my car when I noticed they were setting up to trim right over it. No signs posted at all warning about tree trimming or no parking. I told them which house our neighbor lived in and that they should ask them to move their car. They said ok. 10 minutes later they are dropping branches all over his car. Real courteous guys. Typical subcontractor level of pride in their work.

Arborist Nick came out for an estimate a few days after my call to Davey. He promptly sent an estimate in the evening after his visit. He took time to evaluate our tree and determine best course of removal. Additionally Davey was terrific in being flexible with the date of work. The crew that did the actual work was excellent, professional and respectful of neighboring properties and trees! I will certainly hire them again if such needs arise on our property!

The team was awesome. Responsive, professional and did a great job. They worked their butts off. I needed my huge silver maple cables and they did a great job on it.
This may seem unrelated, but I loved that women were on the job and doing the tree trimming too. I love a company that is open to both men and women doing the job. I will definitely be using them again.

The service was unbelievable! The tree trimmers arrived on time, despite it raining heavily. They knew what had been discussed with Amy, the arborist, and were prepared to get right to work. Once they were done with the trimming, they cleaned up after themselves, including blowing leaves off the driveway and street and then raking them all up. Everyone was polite and professional, kept me updated on the progress, and made sure I was in agreement with how things were being done.

Great to work with. We had 4 mature very large Silver Maples pruned. The guys who did the work walked the yard with us and listened to what we wanted. They were knowledgeable and helped us understand what was best for the health of the trees. They were careful not to damage anything below - moved out of the way garden items and placed them back when done. We asked them to leave a few large branches for fire wood. They left neat piles by each tree and left the rest of the yard spotless! They were polite and checked in before they left to ensure everything was as we expected.

We had them come out to remove a beautiful 110 year old oak that had died in our front yard. The team was thorough, thoughtful, and efficient at accessing the tree and throughout the removal process. We paid extra for the stump removal and we’re glad we did so as we can now start fresh with a new planting in that location. Pricing was great compared to our other quotes we received and the customer service was truly top notch. Thanks Davey!

Very poor experience when Davey crew took down entire tree instead of just the agreed-upon branch that was damaged in a storm. Then made us pay for the branch removal!

The crew that came to do our tree removal was fantastic! They worked quickly, did a great job, and were very considerate of our property and our neighbors' property. They left literally no evidence that we ever had trees there in the first place - they cleaned up the fallen branches, brush, etc., and hauled it all away with them. The locations of where the trees used to be were left even with the surrounding ground (no big holes or unevenness remaining). I'm amazed at how little time it took them to remove three large ash trees. Very professional. Very considerate. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I HIGHLY recommend Davey Tree.

This is a great tree service. We contacted Ethan, the local Daveys representative on a Sunday, and he came that afternoon to evaluate the tree that was now sitting on top of our house! The crew came out Monday morning and removed it before it did further damage to our roof! The crew was friendly and efficient and safely removed the tree with minimum noise! It was good to see all the safety precautions they took! I highly recommend Davey's tree service!

Davey cut down 2 large oak trees leaning against 2 other oak trees hanging over our roof. They used a crane and a crew to safely do a very dangerous and complicated project without damaging our house or having any injuries. I would hire them again in a minute!!

The all woman crew of Alex and Gianna was very good. They responded to what we wanted. The work was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up they area of branches, leaves and twigs.

We have worked with Davey Tree Service in South St. Paul for several years and are always impressed with their excellent customer service. Davey came highly recommended to us to provide assistant with our huge Ash trees. An incredibly knowledgeable Arborist came to assess the Ash trees and recommended a course of treatment to protect these huge trees from disease. A wonderful technician came out to provide the treatments and he was so friendly and knowledgeable, explaining his process.
He was very respectful of our property and exceeded our expectations. After a very heavy snow, several branches from other trees had broken, and Davey Tree Service came out to remove the broken limbs. They were able to complete this task while saving the beautiful shape of the trees. The crew worked quickly, and completely cleaned up the entire area. We are extremely impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of our Arborist at Davey, Nick A. Whenever I send an email inquiry, Nick is quick to respond, always answering my questions in an easy- to- understand manner, explaining the science in a fun and interesting way! Nick is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, but also possessing a great sense of humor! He is very engaging and we have learned so much through his thoughtful explanations. Nick exceeds our expectations with every visit. We highly recommended Davey Tree Service in South St. Paul, and especially Nick A., unequivocally without hesitation. 3rd or 4th time hiring them. I'm always happy with the work. The group did exactly as they said and cleaned up afterwards. Definitely going to look at them again next time I need tree work.

This was the second time I used them. First experience years ago was memorably great. This time Scheduling an estimate was easy. Nick Arborist was very knowledgable and he kindly educated me on what kind of tree I have and gave me recommendations and explained what a canker was. Price was great vs other companies and I trust them. I felt respected as a female homeowner. Work was done on time as promised within a couple weeks. Davey team came out and spoke with me about what they were doing and what to expect. Great communication and they did a wonderful job. It looks so good. My homeowners insurance requested more info and e-mails and phone calls with Davey for the tree trimming and Davey was very quickly available and responsive to me and to homeowners demands. I will definitely use them again and trust them and recommend them to anyone.

They came when they said they would and did the work carefully and quickly. When done they cleaned the yard up very well.

Sam and the Davey crew were fantastic! From the time we met with Sam ( the arborist) it was less than a week and the entire job was completed!
