I/we are super happy with Mr Handyman’s service, as well as the personal relationship with Renea! It is a great comfort for us to have “No worries” about getting repairs done to our rental property
We needed to have an old microwave removed/purchased/Re-installed! As well as other small repairs.
    Seem less!!

I have Mr Handyman coming back next week to paint and do some other small repairs

    I highly recommend Mr Handyman!

Mike was outstanding he really has a deep knowledge of the issue here with our door. He’s courteous and frankly very honest. I’m always going to use you guys for all our repair work even if it’s just to come out take an appraisal and tell me which specialist contractor I should get. Thank you so much

Barnaby installed grab bars in 2 bathrooms and in shower of our master bathroom. He appeared just a little late because of snowy roads, checked the job, had me use tape to indicate what I wanted done and then left to purchase the grab bars. When he returned he installed the grab bars and a new shower head. Then he sent me the invoice and I gave him my credit card info. I thanked him for his work and he left.
I was very pleased with the caliber of the work.

Very friendly and easy to work with. I felt confident in their expertise and they explained the work fully. Estimates for work were reasonable and middle-of-the-road. They were on time, reliable. I was given an ongoing list of costs as work progressed, which I liked.

My front exterior doors had warped to such an extent that I was no longer able to lock the deadbolt. Barnaby showed up and adjusted the locks so that the doors once again worked. He also adjusted the sliding door in the kitchen going to the deck so that could also be locked once again. This was all done with a minimum of fuss. Excellent work.

So quick, very professional. Had tried other companies and had not heard back from them in weeks. Appreciated that Barnaby also followed up with any next steps he thought would be helpful for us to know, which I appreciate. They were definitely not sales pitches, which I also loved, it felt like he truly wanted the job done well.

I've used Mr. Handyman several times. It has always been easy to make an appointment and the people show up on time. I feel the prices are very reasonable. My latest experience involved a blackened tub and tile with stained and missing grout. Luke worked a miracle, restoring the bath to like new and didn't charge a fortune! I am very pleased

We had Mr.Handyman come out for a laundry list of odds and ends. What would have taken me a weekend or more they were able to knock out in under five hours. I was impressed by both the efficiency and quality of Mike's work.

Mike was great and did a good job! My only hesitation was that his hands were very shakey and wasn’t sure if he’d be able to hang pictures properly

Would not recommend at all. Sent someone out to look at my project. Charged be $50 for 2 hours of nothing. No work just looked around and talked. They charge for coming out and looking and then you don't here from them. I here that they try to scale up the cost of their projects by maximizing the amount of time they spend doing your project because they pay their employees by the hour. This is a way of increasing the cost to you while increasing the financial benefit to them. Real contractors can provide estimates on the spot and generally charge by the job not by the hour. If you really know what your doing you provide estimates in less than 24 hours and you charge by the job with a real work order or contract. Save yourself the time and hire a real professional.

I have been trying to set up a project with these guys for months. They have come to my property, claimed they were planning the work, and gathering materials, and have continually strung me along. I first contacted them in November of 2019.

I called first to let them know I wanted to send them pictures and and detailed via email. Then they just never replied. I called again and they finally sent someone out in January/February. I've called again and again to them not returning my calls. I'm just fed up. I could have easily used another contractor if they were just honest and said they couldn't do the job.

Now it's early May over 6 months of no progress for what I thought would be a simple repair. I would not recommend this company. Perhaps this is an issue with just this one office, but they do not do well for the rest of their franchises. This might be the only possible way I can get a response from them. We will see.

Update: The work has been completed by Mr. Handyman and in the end I did find them professional and the work appears to be well done. I'm glad the project is complete and I am more understanding of the delay due to Covid-19 times, though my frustrations began prior to any shut downs/delays.

Wonderful to work with starting with Renae in the office, Dave the owner came to my home and took a list of all I needed done. A specialist is assigned to your task depending on their expertise.
Mike was out today and is honest and doesn’t recommend work that isn’t needed.
I will be using Mr. Handyman for all my home projects!

I contacted Mr. Handyman for an estimate for a new duct vent to be installed above our new microwave, through the kitchen cupboards to an outside wall, about 4ft. The estimator came and spent a good amount of time looking at the cupboards and measuring, taking down info. The job was scheduled for the same day as the arrival of our new appliances from Warner Stellian. The day of service, an older gentleman named Barnabe came to do the work. Not only did he have to leave right away to get parts and lives from the hardware store, but he was gone so long that the appliance guys were joking that he went to lunch. Later he returned, and it took him many hours, past 6:00pm to drill a standard 6” hole for a standard duct and fit it through the cupboards about 4ft. Meanwhile, the appliance guys had to drill the hole above the microwave, which Barnabe was suppose to do, because they couldn’t wait for him. They installed all our new appliances and we had a new gas line installed 20ft from the basement in less time than Barnabe took to drill some holes and install duct. Every other worker came prepared with the necessary tools and pieces BEFORE the job. I don’t understand how a Handyman company with a full truck and that came to view the job BEFORE, is not prepared for the job. I’m paying by the hour! It turns out the business called me and said the GPS record Shows he went to 6 different stores on my time! Barnabe proceeded to do drilling right above our new stove and microwave without covering it from scratches/ damage. I was so uncomfortable I threw my own tablecloth over the new stove. Then there was piles, 3-4” high of sawdust in our brand new microwaves vent slots on the top from not being covered up while he’s drilling. Every time we use our new microwave saw dust blows into the inside and our food. I’ve tried multiple methods to clear this. In the end, we were so unhappy with the professionalism of this experience we contacted the company. A man, I think it was Dave?, said on the phone to expect a refund because he agreed this was not ok, the time, length of project, going to 6 stores, and not protecting our new appliances.... it’s been over 6 weeks and we’ve heard nothing, nor received a refund! Beware!!!!!

Barnaby had to come back a few times due to faulty parts. He was professional and focused and respectful of my working from home. He was good with the dog too! We kept adding chores to his list and Renee at the office was great at communicating to me and him.

Rusty and Marcel installed vinyl siding on my garage and shed. They were very courteous and professional; worked quickly, effectively and efficiently and finished on time and on budget. I look forward to having them out again.

I contacted Mr. Handyman for removal of 2 halfwalls. I received an itemized quote for the work and was told the ending bill could go up or down if it took longer or the tech finished early. Rusty was my tech and he was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. He explained the process well. Rusty finished earlier than expected, which saved us significantly. I highly recommend this company and will utilize them again, when need be.

My siding repair project handled by Mr Handyman was an excellent experience. Both Renee and Dave who did the scheduling were helpful, attentive; Barnaby (who did the work) arrived on time, was fast, professional, and provided good answers to all the questions I had. I would recommend Mr Handyman to anyone and will use their services again for any future projects.

I’ve used Mr. Handyman several times for various projects and fixes and have always been happy with the knowledge and professionalism of the handymen and quality of their work. Most recently, Barnaby came out to realign the door to our garage, which had come out of the frame a couple inches on one side. He repaired the door expertly. Renae, who does the scheduling, is great, too.
