We've used Josh Nelson for electrical work several times over the last three years, and he is a rockstar electrician. His work is topnotch, and he doesn't mind explaining everything in detail. Josh has installed recessed LED disc lights, fixed a ceiling fan, replaced wiring, added outlets, added outdoor lighting, and replaced piping from our electrical meter. My aunt has also used him and was very happy with his work. Josh has extensive knowledge of NEC codes, and he makes safety a priority. We'll definitely continue to use Josh for all of our electrical needs.

Value is a combination of price and pace of work done. We have used a number of contractors on our house from hell. We have run the gamut from outright screw jobs to exceptionally fair priced, correctly done work. Nelson’s falls into the later category. Wish we had found them years ago. They don’t even charge for the phone time talking to their love interests as some of my previous contractors have done. No nickel and dimeing here. Straight shooters. How refreshing.

Excellent electrician. Hired for a kitchen remodel and panel replacement which was done at a very reasonable rate in good time. Permitting/inspections/etc were all handled in a very timely fashion (which, trust me, can be an issue). The only issue that cropped up in during the panel replacement was remedied the same day (and in fact Josh was kind enough to turn around and fix it at about 9:30 at night after having left for the day). He even put up with listening to me talk while he worked. I would always advise getting multiple quotes for any major work being done on your house, but I would also recommend making Josh one of those quotes.

Josh is dependable, knowledgeable, honest, fast working and an excellent electrician. He has done several projects for us and for our daughter.

We had Josh out to resolve an issue with an overloaded circuit . He arrived in a timely matter and was 100% professional and courteous. Bonus points for being diligent to make sure gates were latched and pets didn't get loose . I'll recommend them to friends and family!

Josh came out to add electrical service to an in-floor outlet in our home and despite a full electrical panel, was able to provide a few good (and also cost effective) options to solve our problem. He was knowledgable, polite, and not pushy at all. He even took the time to answer non-related questions I had about some exterior lighting. I definitely recommend this small business.

I needed a sub panel added and a 30amp outlet installed on the exterior of my house and from the quote to the service, Josh was wonderful. Josh Nelson has been a huge asset for the work we have done on our house. Bathroom renovation, new fan in another bathroom, new thermostat with additional wiring, all done by Josh. He won't charge you insane visit fees like others (Randy's $500, barf) and is fair with his rate. Additionally, he operates quickly and efficiently which will help cut your invoice down.

Josh was so great to work with. We initially reached out to him for a bid in May just before a holiday weekend. He came out the next morning (Saturday) and went over a few different solutions for our issue. He was a straight shooter, giving us a very inexpensive option along with a better in the long term, but more expensive solution. We knew from our first meeting with him that we wanted to work with him. It took us a bit to decide, but ultimately we called Josh a couple months later and hired him to do a full panel and AMP upgrade. We were initially told it would take two days, but Josh and his guy got it all done in one day. I would absolutely work with him again, and would recommend him to others in need of an electrician.

He saved me money by doing a repair instead of an installation when he didn't have to. Josh is an honest and stand-up guy who knows his stuff. 100/10 Bryan is an absolute LIFE SAVER. I called on a Saturday with what I thought was an emergency (half the lights in a restaurant went out). Bryan talked me through it and was able to solve the problem over the phone even though they were technically closed. Saved my a$$ & folks from having to go to the restroom in the dark all evening.
