I'm sorry if you are a resident of the City of Saint Paul and have them as your garbage company. TIP: They do not put dates on their invoices, so if they are saying you are past due, and you mailed your check, I'm sure you're fine because I swear they send out late notices before it's *actually* late. TIP 2: If you really need to contact them, allow for 30+ minutes of hold time. I have never once completed a phone call with them on my break. TIP 2A: If you are given the option, you can have them call you back; HOWEVER, there is a chance they will not return your call. This has also happened to me. TIP 3: There is always email correspondence as well. I have had my questions answered via email, but given their track record, you must be diligent and follow up. SINCE IT IS NOT YOUR CHOICE WHO YOUR PROVIDER IS, I'm glad I can at least share my experiences with you. I would have hired another company immediately because they can't even grasp basic billing and or customer service. *Note* My actual garbage man seems very nice and pleasant*

Do not do business with this company. They failed to pick my trash up for 3 weeks. I called to informed them that our stop was missed for the past 3 weeks now. Customer service was rude and interrupted me several times during the complaint call. I told them since they failed to pick up our trash, we have extra bags laying around and that those needed to be picked up as well. The customer service representative stated that she will put a note in those have the extra bags picked up and for us not to worry about it. The following day, I checked outside and I see they picked up our bin but still have not picked up the extra bags. I called again to complain and before I can even start talking, I get cut off with the "it's not our fault" blabber. The representative told me that since I had too many extra bags they were going to charge me per bag. I responded with no and canceled my contract with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER.
Purchased a home in Saint Paul and lived there for 2 years from 2019 to 2021. Not once did we receive a initial bill of charges, every bill had a 5% late charge. Only comment we got from customer service is they send them out in a timely manner, but we had no way of proving that. Even our neighbors told us it’s just a large scam. I wish I could say I moved because of this company, but it was a relief leaving them. 2024: I still thinks about this companies dishonesty every now and then.
Absolutely terrible customer service. We moved 4 months ago and have been trying to cancel our account for the past 4 months. The dumpster is still at our old rental, new tenants are using it on our bill because Advanced disposal cannot figure out how to cancel our account and pick it up! They continue to send us bills even after our endless phone calls (seriously we have called no less than 15 times!) and even a letter we wrote and sent to them. The guys who drive the trucks are great, but the office is extremely unorganized and terrible to work with.
I had a great experience here. Everyone was so friendly. The cashier person was great, a guy helped me lift something heavy, and another guy driving a machine even stopped to ask if I need water/ I got rid of 600lbs of stuff for about $30--which I think is reasonable. Be prepared for the possibility of bad smells and dust, depending on the day and weather.
