Southview Design recently installed a rain garden at our home in Edina to help with water run-off and the process was flawless from start to finish. We commend Taylor and his crew for their hard work and meeting all of our expectations. The overall design, placement, planting and rock arrangement were well thought-out. The crew was polite, hardworking and when done, made sure that the area was cleaned-up when they left.

We have worked with other landscaping outfits in the past but none have displayed the quality and expertise of Southview Design. We will continue working with Southview Design on other land/hard scape and drainage needs in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Thank you, Taylor & Crew!

After searching for five years, we finally found a landscape company to help design and implement a landscape project in the front of our home and alongside our driveway. Southview developed the perfect plan to accompany the design of our home and our location along the river bluffs. The landscape crews were friendly, hard working, skilled and took great pride in their work. The project supervisor and design manager worked together during the installation. They did not hesitate to tweak, and improve the design without additional cost. We were totally satisfied with all the facets of the project. We got what we paid for and Southview Design was very appreciative of the business opportunity.

Angela did a custom design for our previously unruly and unusable back yard, creating a stone patio design that looks like it has always been there, as well as careful placement over 2 dozen perennials, trees, evergreens, and resodding on our half-acre fenced in back yard. Worked well with other contractors integrating additions to the existing deck. Transformed the space; worked with us to scale down a portion of the design that upon reconsideration only affected an unused side yard. Willie and Crew was timely, professional, and efficient. One minor drainage issue that became apparent the spring following the fall installation was resolved.

I was honored to work with the world renowned Landscape Designer Alyson Landmark and Project Manager Luke. Both of them made the projects go smoothly and offered design decisions that I always agreed with. First project was a backyard redesign that included a 20’ stream with waterfall, a 40’ stream with multiple spillways, and a 3 basalt column fountain. The second project was a redo of the front yard. This included a paver driveway, paver sidewalk and a paver entryway. Both projects included numerous planting. In summary, it’s beautiful!

New plow company this year for our association. Let’s say they are not doing a good job. I just have to take care of my own driveway and sidewalk even though they are paid to do it. Even got an email from our association stating it was asking why our services have fallen short. See picture attached. For now I will leave it at this as I am sure they will make strides to do better. I’m sure there will be a snarky response as this is the modus operandi for this company. No need to quote times. Ring cameras don’t lie on times.

We live in Bailey Meadows and just changed the provider for snow removal to Southview. It has now been 12 hours since the snow stopped and they are no where to be found. So unimpressed…. It will be hard to come back from this.

The response below makes it sound like you showed up in a timely and efficient manner and that you did a quality job. None of this is true. The crews that showed up long after the city had plowed, haphazardly shoveled some walkways. The (single) plow did not arrive until well after the agreed upon time had long passed and many had cleared driveways themselves. (Some folks are older, so doing so presents risk). We are still awaiting word on how you will remedy this debacle and restore confidence. When will you respond?

Personally, I would not recommend Southview for anything.

December update - Another snow event and Southviews performance has declined further, though I am not sure how that is possible. Promised an open plow (so people can get out in the morning) - never happened. It’s now almost noon and our driveway, along with a random selection of others, was never done. Horrible. This is their second miss and guess what? Still getting paid by the HOA. DO NOT USE this group. Although our experience relates to snow removal, suggest it’s probably how they roll in every area. Southview will never be on my recommendations list.

The team at Southview Design has been stellar to work alongside. From consistent communication around timelines and expectations, to sharing their knowledge of the landscape space, the are true professionals from top to bottom. Would highly recommend working with this team!

Although my project was small, Southview made me feel like I was a top priority. Excellent service and attention to details. I was given great ideas from my designer and felt comfortable adjusting those plans before the project began and even shortly into it. The project team proved professional and highly skilled! Well done! I can recommend them highly without reservation.

Ignored a stop sign and nearly caused a major accident.

Don't do it ,You'll want to do the project yourself then lay down in your bed and pump off your head with a scatter gun 🤷🏿‍♂️

This company has terrible customer service, and the owner suffers from little man syndrome. I Have also heard horrible stories after sharing my experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

They use leaf blowers excessively and blow dust clouds into the air, creating a hazardous environment for neighbors.

Does this company own a snow shovel or salt? My Grandmother almost broke her hip from the lack of snow and ice removal one of their noshow contract jobs.

One of their employees blocked me in a parking spot at the Eagan outlet mall and left for the day. It took 2 police units and a couple of hours to get out from around their bobcat. Look elsewhere if you want to deal with professionals.

In my opinion this company treats its employees like cash cows. It’s my opinion that this company is owned by a board of directors who care more about their fancy vehicles and nice houses more then taking care of their employees. I would avoid this company for several reasons.

Townhome owner in Vadnais Heights. Reliable Property Services is the associations 1st year using them and the services are AWFUL! First off the lawn care they miss large strips of grass, rarely trim around the tress, property edges, etc. This is simple lawn maintenance 101!!!!

Alden Pond Townhomes hires these guys to work until 7pm. They take 2 hour lunch breaks and sit in their truck from 5:30 to 7:00. Must have GPS tracking because they drive away around 7:02.

I live in a complex where Reliable Property Services does at least the lawn care (not sure about snow removal). There have been MANY times throughout the summer they are mowing before 8am, RIGHT outside my bedroom window. It also seems to take them much longer to get a job done than it should. The employee this morning was mowing a patch of about 40-50' x10' for OVER HALF AN HOUR. I grew up mowing lawns. They tend to mow the same path over and over again. We haven't had much rain so they are just creating a dust storm and noise pollution. I don't mean to be cranky, but if I got more sleep, maybe I wouldn't be! (I work some evenings, so them mowing that early is quite inconvenient).

I manage a 105 unit complex in St Paul. This was our first year using Reliable Snow Removal and they were excellent. They email you and update with every weather situation. The way they communicate with their staff and their clients is truly outstanding which results in great customer service! It was a tough year and we were so impressed that we are going to get bids for our lawn care service as well.
Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Reliable takes care of the lawn and snow where I live. They do a decent job of mowing the lawns, and have been pretty receptive to complaints. I have complained about them blowing grass clippings into my landscaping and they stopped, also have complained about them using a riding mower on a hill around my tree and leaving a big ring - they changed to push mowers and it looks great. The big problem is the WINTER. This last winter they used sub-contractors to plow which resulted in massive damage where the driveway meets the yard. They also woke me up at 5am one morning using LEAF BLOWERS to blow snow...which is absolutely insane. Reliable did come and seed this spring to try and fix the damage, but it rained and all the seed washed away and they refused to come fix it again. This is not acceptable. I don't want to spend money fixing my lawn when they are going to just ruin it again next winter. I would not recommend Reliable if snow removal and spring damage repair is involved.
