I am so happy with Hansen's Lawn Care for my snow removal needs. They do a great job, every morning I have been able to come out and my driveway is clear. One time I had to leave at 4am to get to the airport, I called to make sure that they would be able to get my driveway clear and they assured me it would be clear...and they delivered. I would highly recommend them!

Richard, the owner, has been a pleasure to work with and is always very responsive. He has always been willing and able to accommodate our service requests. Sometimes it can be difficult finding true professionals and attaching my name to a referral brings its own set of concerns.

I will say that I have absolutely no concerns or hesitation in recommending Richard and Hansen’s Lawn Care. I use their services directly for my personal home and have contracted them for my rental properties / clients. I have also referred him to several past buyers / sellers as well. They have always gone above and beyond... so giving them a positive review is something I’m very happy to do!

I have been using Hansens now for the last 5 years and I am very happy with the services provided. My lawn looks great. I come from a military background family, and love to support companies that are the same. I use them for my lawn care, my fertilizing, and sprinkler start up.

We’ve used Hansons lawn care for two years now. They consistently skip treatments on the mid portion of my yard. After that, I need to call them and fight with him to get that portion of the lawn treated. Every time they come I have to scan through my security camera footage to find out that they did not do treat that portion. This is unacceptable for any company. I paid them to treat the whole lawn and they consistently skip portions. I have auto pay set up, but they don’t hesitate to charge me for the whole lawn. I highly recommend looking for a different lawn care service. Do not use this company.

I hired Hansen's given positive reviews I read online. I have a yard with many raised gardens and fruit trees but I expected a professional service to do a superior job with such a property.
Instead, the crew brought in only heavy machinery which was all they used in wet conditions which tore up parts of the lawn. Nothing was communicated to me about the damage that was created. They just threw down some grass seed and left it at that.
The machine tore branches off one of my fruit trees and broke a support on another. Again, no communication.
The weed eating was hit or miss at best.
The weed and feed treatment that was done made a yard that was emerald green before the treatment into one that damaged the grass. I can't see that weeds were controlled much but my grass now is damaged and turning brown.
When I pointed out my concerns after the second visit, Hansen's was defensive rather than offering solutions. They then charged my credit card (after raising the quoted price due to the structures in the yard) and ghosted me.

One star is more than I would give this service if I had the option.

Hansen’s Lawn Care has served us on two occasions over the past few years. My husband is in the military and sometimes travels for many months at a time. Hansen’s has offered us a contract with a flexibly set time to cover our lawn and snow removal needs while he’s been away. Other companies we’ve considered required a year’s or whole season contract, so we’ve LOVED working with Hansen’s!

We recently had them remove all our leaves at the end of this past autumn. They were very thorough! Thank you, Hansen’s!

Beware!!
I hired Hanson's to do my lawn this year. I just got back from Florida and saw they didn't do behind the shed. I called, and much to my surprise, they came out March 18th! We still had snow after that! Way to early! They stated they emailed me, but it probably went in my junk mail as I would never had them do it that early. After talking to them, the owner said we do not do pine needles, but they did 2 years ago in my yard and never told me they are not doing it anymore. Never offered to come back out. He was happy to take me off his list! Very unsatisfied customer, yet the company owner did not care. Be careful and make sure you are getting what you paid for and ask questions.

Hansen’s Lawn Care provided me outstanding lawn maintenance late spring - early fall of 2023. We had moved out of the area so we needed a team of professionals who could be counted on in keeping our home looking well maintained as we worked towards selling the home. Hansen’s kept the lawn looking wonderful as we received several compliments from our neighbors and friends over the summer on how great of a job they were doing. I highly recommend their services.

These guys are constantly blowing leaves under my neighbor's fence into my yard. I've had to bother him to call them out to clean them before. Last time, they killed my grass and called me a liar because I didn't notice it in time. Unethical company.

Edit: I communicated through my neighbor to have them come out before. If you want to make your neighbors mad, use these guys!

Hansen's is a pleasure to do business with. They are always prompt and do a great job on our large, multi acre lawn.

This is my first experience with a mowing service and so happy I chose Hansen’s Lawn Care. Excellent mowing and trimming. On time sometimes a day early mowers are focused doing the job fair price! Keep up the great work!

Constantly scalped our new sod. Mentioned it several times with pictures and it never got better. The last straw was workers dumping gasoline all over our grass and killing it with open gas cap on machine somehow. When this was mentioned to owner he called us basically liars until we showed him on our videos caught on our cameras the actual gas pouring out of lawnmower all over grass. We never were reimbursed and we had to fire his lawn service. Not reliable and job poorly done.

We started using Hansen’s lawn care when we moved to Woodbury, I originally gave them a very high review.
Over the past year, I have seen their services decline a great deal, this first begin with our lawn care services. I would noticed that the applications would not be hitting most areas of our lawn. They would quickly come in and make a few large swipes, leaving most areas untouched.
Finally with snow removal this past winter, there have been many times I’ve had to call in to remind them that we were missed or supply pictures providing evidence of our driveway not being completely done. Most of the time we had to wait till very late in the day past lunchtime for our driveway to have the snow removed. The snow removal for March 31 and April 1 was finally the last straw. I need a company’s that plans with urgency and respects their customers needs. I will not be using Hansen’s again for any services moving forward.
Leaving a message that this weekend will be considered a melt off when we received over a foot of snow and not servicing their customers is complete neglect as we need to get out and this is what we paid for when we contracted snow removal services with them.

I wouldn't suggest these guys at all. I have had them do my fall clean up along with my mowing for a couple years now. They do not take much care for the customers property. Lots of tire marks that remove the grass all the way down to the dirt causing bald spots due to turning too fast and being in a hurry. They also damage the things they weed whip around like mail boxes & playground equipment. These things are minor in comparison to the fall clean up. I always had to call and push them into getting it on the schedule which was missed twice and then last year I tried to call really early & be first on the schedule but got no response and when the year was almost done still no call so I finally called the owner which when I started to complain about it he said "If you don't like it go somewhere else"

All I can say is WOW - Veteran Owned Business. Hmmmmm

I know a lot of Vets & they do not act like children & have Pride in the things they do.

Hansen’s lawn care is cutting my son and daughter-in-laws yard while he is on deployment. I drove by the house today and was pleasantly surprised to see what a nice job that they did. Great work! Thank you for helping fellow veterans.
