We've had Alex come out twice for some plumbing work because we liked working with him so much the first time! First time was just some work under the sink and the second time was replacing our water softener.
First off, he is SUPER responsive. Every time we reached out via email we heard back within a day, sometimes within an hour. Super speedy, something that doesn't feel too common in the trades.
Very punctual as well. Said he'd show up at a time, was there exactly on time.
He also answers questions without complaint, whether that is questions before the work is done or follow-ups after. Just a great source of knowledge.
Finally, his pricing for the work felt really fair.
Definitely our go-to plumber when the need arises.

Alex is fantastic at his job. His prices are exceedingly competitive and, more importantly, he brought a wealth of knowledge to our basement remodel project. He redid the plumbing throughout the basement, moved a water main, moved a water heater, and fixed some of the plumbing upstairs. Thorough and communicative. Cannot recommend him enough!

Alex came to replace a leaking bathtub fixture for us. He was on time, very reasonably priced, and did a great job. We will definitely be getting ahold of him in the future to help with plumbing issues in our house.

We were referred to Alex by a trusted friend and contractor when we discovered water damage in our linen closet caused by a leak coming from our master bath toilet. Alex responded to us immediately and fit us into his schedule quickly. He arrived early, confirmed our issue (bad prior wax ring installation), and performed the repair quickly at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Alex and Peterson Plumbing!

Quick, professional service at a great price. When I could not shut off the faucet in my bathtub, that meant turning off the water for the whole house until I could get someone out. Alex fit me in on a Sunday and did not charge me an arm and a leg. Very professional manner, too, and he's a good communicator.

Alex and Tom did a great job! I had to replace a lot of piping in my new house and they communicated what needed to be done in a very understandable way. Very trustworthy company that has competitive pricing. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the St. Paul area.

Had a bad experience. These folks are nice…until they’re not. My bill was split into several portions, I completely forgot the last small portion, their system didn’t send a reminder. Got a message out of the blue 7-8 months later that I was overdue. Got very busy with work but intended to pay, Alex instead felt it necessary to quickly threaten collections before just giving me a reminder. Plus, Alex was picky on the jobsite, my other contractor hadn’t finished installing some tile backsplash or some other item that was irrelevant to the plumbing portion, but Alex didn’t want to proceed until that was finished. This caused another trip to be required. My original quote was $750, I ended up adding one additional faucet to be installed. They used this as an opportunity to price gouge, my final total was $1604!

We have used Peterson Plumbing for several years now. They most recently installed a new water heater. We have always been pleased with there work and punctuality.

Loved these guys. They were diligent and thorough and handled unexpected hassles promptly and well. Also found and installed old style unusual hardware I didn't expect to replace. Trustworthy folks.
