I telephoned Sears to come repair a home refrigerator. The apt. was set up and i was informed there was to be a $139 diagnostic review of the frig. The repairman was efficient and informed us of the issue. Then, the diagnostic completed, and no parts were available to repair. No work done. Then the fee of $50 was added and called a clean fee. Total now, $202. I was adamant on my first call to collect the exact fee that would be charged. It was not and I plan to dispute with bank. Sorry administrative policy.

Will was very courteous and professional. I would certainly recommend him and your company to my friends. It was very easy to give Will 5 stars!!!

Fraudulent activity! A technician came out on July 24th, service fee payment was made but he did not fix anything. The technician came so late in the day on the service call that he wasn't able to go to the part store and get what was needed. I followed up with sears about a new appt and technician. The refused to assign a technician to the case due to the part not being ordered. I personally reached out to the first technician who stated that the notes he left, were there for the new technician to order and bring the part with them. No one wants to take accountability for the extended delay with this issue. This company and the company who contracts them out clearly do not care about the health and safety of community. Temps are reaching triple digits this week and still no working AC.

    Update: 08/06/24 10:17am CST
I called the number provided for assistance only to go through a portal of different automated systems unrelated to having the issue resolved. Temperatures are steady climbing, and I am still without a properly functioning AC unit. Having to experience this level of discomfort inside a home that is now triggering respiratory issues, is a total disservice on behalf of the company involved with this home repair.

After technician finally decided to come “fix” my refrigerator (A&E rescheduled several times), he replaced one part and said it would take 24 hours to start working again… he was wrong, of course, because that doesn’t even make sense. Then he proceeded to ignore my calls and texts. He was at my house for an estimated 10 whole minutes. Go with another company, or you’re better off trying to fix it yourself.

We pay yall every month to warranty our appliances, the technician wanted to charge me $452.00 to fix the dryer that if I hadn’t looked it up on google he would still be trying to fix it. Try calling me or at least give me a phone number to call you.

The air was worst after he left. He said he overcharged the freon in the ac. Told me to clean the outside unit. That's what I called them for to make the unit operate better not worst and not to tell me what to do to make it run better. That's why I called what I thought was professionals. He didn't even look at the unit in the ceiling. It's 81 degrees inside right now. It's no better then before the technician got here. He was only here about 15 minutes. Didn't do anything.

The service technician was cordial; however, his repair skills must be lacking because he failed to repair the machine. He put a new part on the machine on Friday, April 26. On Saturday, April 27, two loads of clothes were washed and the machine worked as it should. On Saturday, one load of clothes was washed, but the machine did not work as it should. The problems encountered with the machine were the same problems encountered prior to the April 26 supposed repair. The machine filled to rinse more than one time and upon checking on the status of the machine, it was filled with water to the top of the tub and still filling. The machine was unplugged and the water turned off in order to prevent flooding of the laundry room. Once the machine was unplugged and water off, it was left to sit for 1-2 hours. Afterwards, the machine setting was changed to the Drain/Spin cycle and completed that cycle as it should. No other attempts have been made to use the machine.

Joey is the only good things about Sears so far in my almost 2 years of experience. He knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable professional and courteous. He makes Sears look good. It took almost 2 months to get it fixed but that is the Sears issue not technicians. Joey gets 5 star review and Sears gets zero star review. I dread making call to Sears. They will transfer you 7 times and you each time you have to re identify yourself with full details and then they will drop the call. Very poor phone customer service. I have been waiting for my dishwasher to be fixed for the last 3 months. My appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled 6 times. Today they told me that they have no technicians available to help and as such could not give me an appointment date. Pathetic.

Worst experience ever. Technician couldn’t fix/wouldn’t fix the problem with my oven and Sears is impossible to contact. RUN from Sears!

The information reported to my home warranty and the email from Sears do not match my serial number, model number or name/manufacturer of the AC. 1st time Montavius came the repair he did lasted 3 hours. I contacted him again the same night and he said set up appointment with my warranty and he would come back. Contacted warranty and made appointment but no show. Contacted home warranty 3rd time he did show and said I am ordering a part. I received an email from Sears and home warranty company that it is the motor. Non of the information matched my ac system. I am now contacting home warranty to send someone else not with Sears so they can at least have the correct model and serial number to get repaired.

Trey (Sears Technician) was professional and knowledgeable. He took time to assess my AC's issue and took time to explain his diagnostics to me. I don't allow outside shoes to be worn in my home. He was very respectful of that and made sure he wore covers over his shoes. This was his second trip to my house for the same issue in month. Both times he was very professional and helpful.
