My Technician today was the BEST!!! He was PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE about His Job...Thank You for sending Him 10 out of 10!

He was very informative on telling me the problem. He tried different places to get the parts need. He reported everything to Sears and Choice Warrenty, my service. He waited around for awhile for answers as to how to proceed. But he had other stops and no one contacted him. He said someone will inform me as to when he can return.
He explained I am disabled with numerous health problems especially my lungs. So being without my Air Conditioner is a health hazard. It's 107 in my house. And going to be difficult for me to go a long time before it's fixed. He did his job, just waiting for answers to this problem.
Hopefully, I don't have to continue without air much longer. Health hazard. -
He wasn’t able to repair my washer because it is so old that the part needed isn’t made anymore. But David was very kind about it.

The reason for the one star is that I called Sears because my dryer wasn’t getting hot anymore. A technician was scheduled to come out a few days later. When he came out, he discovered that my element and fuse in the dryer wasn’t working he told me he didn’t have the parts in stock. He had to order the parts. A week later, he come back to the home to install the parts. He was at my house almost 4 hours then he calls me and let me know that the screw on my drum when he took it out it bent, so he called his supervisor to see what he needs to do because he said my dryer is now making a loud noise after calling his supervisor. He asked me did I want a refund because I pay over $700 for the parts and labor and my dryer is still not fixed because the drum screwed that he removed is broken.

Excellent service. Montavious, the Service person is the Best!I like that the same person came last year and he is so kind, considerate and reliable!
-
david was on time and courteous. he gave me credible advice. only issue is he is soft spoken and a bit difficult to understand.
-
The dryer tech was 5 hours late of the appointment window. The dryer would turn on prior to the visit, but would not start. After he left, the dryer will no longer turn on. Another person that I know came today and said that the dryer heater clips were broken, the board wires were broken. I should receive a partial refund for this experience. He managed to make the issue worse after his diagnostic visit.

Montavious came out to fix our heating in our sunroom. He kept us in the loop with each issue he crossed and finished today with the heating working. Thank you, Montavious.!!!

He was knowledgeable, very professional & personable. Found my problem in less that 2 minutes & explained everything. Would definitely recommend this service & David J to anyone!

The red light indicating Fliter needs replacing is still red. So eventhough a new one was installed the refigerator is not filtering or sterilizing the water. What can be done about that? We still have no water.
The service person was fine, but the refrigerator is not working.
Thank you! -
Marcus was kind and super respectful..unfortunately he was not able to fix my dishwasher but I think he will be back.
-
Montavious was great but sears gave me an 8-5 window and he wasn’t available until after that. I don’t know about most people but we work. Most services give a 3 or 4 hour window. This is ridiculous and very difficult for working people.

There is still wiring exposed outside of the unit causing safety concerns for electric shock. I request a different technician to come out and complete the job.

The guys come to my house and acts like he's never seen a portable whirlpool dishwasher. He couldn't 100% determine the problem; didn't know how to take off the pump so I pulled up my YouTube showing EXACTLY how to "do it yourself" which I should have done. Then he gave me an outrageous price to repair, i.e. just go buy a new one, but didn't have the products to replace - oh, he also spent about 5 minutes in my bathroom while I waited on him. I called back to sears yesterday and got a representative, told him the problem and NOT to send the same guy back out. But he did. And I sent him home. Tried to call this morning, but NO, you WILL NOT get a representative. So they sent me an incompetent service guy, they got my money and I STILL have a dishwasher with water in the bottom of it. NEVER AGAIN.

Morris was excellent, thorough and professional. Reached out to other agent to confirm his diagnosis .Appreciate his work ethics!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! PAID $652.92 ON FRONT END FOR OVEN REPAIR. WE HAD TECHNICIANS OUT 4 DIFFERENT TIMES WITH VARIOUS ISSUES SUCH AS "DON'T HAVE THE PARTS" "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS" (WIRED INCORRECTLY AND DESTROYED ONE OF THE PARTS) HAD TO RE-ORDER. CAME BACK OUT WITHOUT PARTS AND RESCHEDULED VISIT TO FIX AND AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. SAID WE WOULD GET OUR MONEY BACK. I AM GOING TO SELECT "OVEN REPAIR" ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT REPAIRED. ACTUALLY LEFT IT IN WORSE CONDITION. 😒

We had the greatest experience, haste free, quick, and reasonably priced. Our technician was extremely personable, respectful, intentional, and honest. I wish I could remember his name to directly give praise, but thank you for our service!

Mr. David J was Great. Very exceptional service. He Took his time to make sure the real problem was addressed and properly diagnosed. Was very careful in taking the machine apart to ensure no further damage occurred, and helped me fix the problem. Great experience.

Service person was great! Unfortunately he could not work on the problem and it had to be resubmitted to Cinch and another technician and service call will be placed. He sent a picture of the non working unit so hopefully Cinch can get it right this time.

Update: The seemingly nice message from Sears is a ruse. There is no person at the other end, no one to rectify the issue, or send a new technician since the first technician obviously couldn’t fix my appliance. It’s all AI. Not all problems fit into neat boxes.
My technician didn’t even know my oven had an element. Horrible experience from the start and it’s still not fixed. -
After multiple visits, canceled appointments with no notification, I am still without a working stove. I have paid the service fee twice. On the last visit, the repairman broke the gas line to the stove. I was told Sears would follow up and no one has. There is no option to speak to a customer service representative, only AI. This has been the worst experience I have had with a repair company.
Followup - I called customer service as suggested below. I had the same experience - virtual assistant that wanted to charge a 139 diagnostic fee for something that is covered under my home warranty and that was also caused by the sears technician. What happened to customer service?
