Appliance Repair reviews in Ridgeland, Mississippi

Absolutely horrible service. Our technician David J. drove up to our very lit up house, took a picture of our lit up porch, and kept driving. We then receive a message that we were not home. Not only was our time pushed back but this happened?! My mom and I took off to sit around and wait. We can’t take off another day. Very very very useless service and technician. I do not recommend this repair company. Thanks for nothing David, please don’t inconvenience another family in need of an urgent repair.

Morris came the day after I called for repair. He let me know when he would be coming about an hour before he got to our home. The repair was going to be as much as a new dryer costs so we chose to just pay for the service call.

Technician Montavius S came out to diagnose the problem with the furnace in my home. He was very knowledgeable of the problem that I was experiencing. He explained and proceeded to fix the problem/correct the problem. I would recommend this technician to anyone that need some help with their HVAC system.

Mr. Morris B was the service technician that came out to fix my stove. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. After he identified the issue, I declined the repair due to the overall price and only paid the diagnostic fee. I was able to purchase the part and fix the stove myself for $48.00, which was the cost of the part at a local store. The part through Sears was $233.68, which is ridiculous.
As for the service technician, I would give him a 10 stars for ratings not just five stars if I could. -
Marcus was great. Very courteous and polite. He replaced my ice maker and I assume it will work fine although I have to wait for it to make ice.
I was displeased with the scheduling. This is probably caused by a lack of qualified technicians available or a misunderstanding of the time requirements for certain repairs. Regardless having an open schedule for 8 A.M. to 5 P. M. is ridiculous. Someone has to wait around during that time.
Again, Marcus was great. Thank you Marcus. -
The absolute worst appliance repair experience I have ever had, would give negative stars if I could. I scheduled them to fix our dishwasher, which broke on December 26. The technician was nice but that was the only good thing. He was at our house for over an hour and still wasn't able to fix our dishwasher but did disconnect almost everything in the dishwasher. That's not the worst thing. Somehow he disconnected the hose that sprays high pressure hot water so that it sprayed into our kitchen. He tried to cut the water off at the valve under the sink and that didn't work - I later discovered that he had turned the valve the wrong way. I guess he didn't learn lefty loose-y righty tighty in school. Thank goodness my husband was home and was able to cut the water off to the entire house so that our kitchen wasn't completely destroyed. Imagine putting your garden hose in your kitchen and turning it on full and just letting it go, and that's what it was like. Very stressful to say the least. Anyway, he finally "diagnosed" the problem and said they had to order the part. After parts and labor the cost would be over $400, which I had to pay then for them to order the part. He scheduled to come back the next week. That date came and went and we were rescheduled for another week. That date also came and went and we were once again rescheduled. On the 3rd rescheduling we canceled (still not sure if I'll get any of my money back) and called another company who came out the next morning (January 9) and spent literally 5 minutes fixing the problem and another 10 minutes putting back together everything the previous guy had taken apart. Total cost: just over $100. Do not use this company. Overpriced, undertrained, and horrible service.

This was a bad case of fraud. The tech ordered two wrong parts to repair my refrigerator. He could not repair the refrigerator. Then he lied on the reports saying that I would/could not wait for him to do the repair. He asked for more money and asked me to allow him to take the wrong parts with him. I refused saying “Before I pay more money to Sears, I will do the repairs myself.” As of today, I have a refrigerator that is still not repaired and parts paid for that will not fit my model. Apparently, I should have read the reviews and complaints submitted by other customers in stead of learning an almost $400 lesson. MY RECOMMENDATION: Do NOT use and do NOT buy their warranty plan that they tried to sell me 2 times. AND DO NOT SIGN THE PHONE with a signature box with NO WORDS. Have them to PRINT to send whatever you need to sign to you by EMAIL. Sears USE TO HAVE A GOOD NAME. Overpriced because I paid for services and products never delivered with a ticket CLOSED marked WORK COMPLETE — Totally False and Impossible. 4+ Hours because I am still waiting for the job to be completed. Hi, William came twice very nice very helpful. Said that there are multiple problems with my freezer and that he would let my insurance company know. I called my insurance company because I didn’t receive an email from them and they said that the ticket is still open and nothing has changed and no information had been given to them to know what happened. I need William to let them know that the freezer requires a variety of different problems that need to be fixed. He also took a GE piece that I need if I’m going to fix my freezer I would like it back if I have to go to a private location now and find out if someone can fix it and then have them fix it for me and I need that part from the GE Freezer back thank you. The repair man did not know how to fix my freezer. He tried. I spoke with my insurance agency and they said the ticket is still open with NO information. I need William to write my insurance agency and let them know @ William’s findings.
