Keep an eye on their Facebook deals. We came for one plant and walked out with tree. Not bad for a Saturday in February.

Showed up after calling ahead for a plant. Hung up and drove to the store from Kirkwood. Was informed they had no one to load plant. Bad customer service. Lesson learned - Go next door if you want a better experience

I've been shopping here for decades and have also hired Sherwood's Forest to help me fill in spaces in the landscape and add interest. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their Landscape Designer, Bill. He oversold me on everything he could get away with. I have 7 Green Giants in a space that should have only 4. Those things grow quickly and provide a natural privacy fence. But now they are behemoth evergreens that are fighting for space, air and sunlight. Same with the Brackens Magnolia. He planted 2 side-by-side next to an existing Brackens but with very little space between them. There wasn't room for 2 more when one would have done nicely. All 3 are now fighting for sunshine and space to stretch out. Magnolias get enormous and eventually one will have to be sacrificed to make room for the other 2. There are examples like this throughout my landscaping of needless overspending/overplanting. Nursery landscape designers get paid to sell material. Next time I'll hire an independent landscape designer. I should have done my own homework and could have saved thousands in needless plant material and labor.

Wow my new tree was installed today, the crew was awesome, they didn't take long at all, cool thing was they made sure tree was perfectly straight, they took thie r time doing that, but digging they did quick! Wow, they were polite and really knew tthier job! Thanks guys! I can't say enough either about the knowledgable staff at the nursery, they knew everything and took the time to explain all the different trees to us, it took us a while to pick out one but they were patient with us, thanks Sherwood forest for a great experience!! We will be back again very soon for more trees and shrubs! I highly recommend them wish I could give a 10!

I had put in an online search for carnivorous plants in my area and was directed here. Staff is nice, really nice shrubbery, but the house plants are kinda sad and carnivorous plants don't look super great, pretty sad in all honesty. Was very disappointed with the carnivorous options.

Awesome service and selection. My wife and I bought a sugar mable. All our questions were answered and all our concerns addressed. Highly recommend this nursery! Will be going back for more plants this coming Spring.

Love this place. So joyful to walk through their beautiful landscape. Bought three trees with help from Jim. All the neighbors comment on them! Getting more MO conservation friendly plants there soon.

Horribly rude experience with the young blonde cashier there. FIrst off, we were looking around the grounds for a long time. Not one employee asked if they could assist us. Brought an expensive plant to the cashier, said hello to her, and didn't get a response. Then she snarled at me asking for my phone number and last name. When the sale was rung up, she put the credit card on the counter (wouldn't hand it to me), and didn't bother to say 'thank you' or anything. Just walked away. The WORST customer service experience I have had this year. I won't return again.

We absolutely love Sherwood Forest Nursery. Their prices and landscaping team are phenomenal with great customer service. We have worked with Jim several times and appreciate all his help and advice. We are returning customers and will always spread the word.
