They have everything, but if you are looking at trees, Sherwoods is THE place for trees, period. I've bought large and small trees and used their installers (for the really big stuff) and have done it myself -- It's always turned out great. Not only a ton of tree variety, but a numerous specimens in each variety to pick from. Incredibly knowledgeable staff on everything they stock. Love this place!

I showed John a picture of my house and he helped me pick out the perfect plants that I am confident will last. They are doing great so far and I am so thankful for John’s help!! I will definitely be back for more.

I have used Sherwoods Forest for many years. I love it there. I find it very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The way the entire place is laid out is easy to navigate. I think it’s got the best quality plants in St Louis. My geraniums are so beautiful. Dave, Jim and everyone at Sherwoods is so helpful. They are all available to answer any of the questions I Might have. Awesome staff. Friendly and attentive.

Sherwood's Forest offers the best selection and quality products for all planting needs. The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Dave and his staff offered multiple suggestions for planting in my shady front yard and my full sun backyard. I return every year for beautiful, healthy annuals, mums, and more.

I had been to 3 nurseries looking for Fire Chief arborvitae and burgundy barberry that can handle part shade. I struck out everywhere until I came to Sherwood's Forest. Within 5 min I had a full cart and am thrilled with my purchases. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Update: I've been back twice today already and came home with 3 trees I'm really excited about finding (and totally missed yesterday). I haven't seen this tree at any other nursery, even substantially larger ones I've visited recently. Sherwood's Forest will be my first stop from now on because of the unique varieties they carry!

I bought 3 shrubs, 1 big tree and one ornamental tree. Jim was amazing with lots of knowledge. We scheduled them to come plant a tree so I will post an after review too.

I've picked up landscaping materials from hardware stores in the past, and plants have died, despite following directions, watering, etc. One thing I love about Sherwood's Forest is that none of my plants have died, but and there's a 2 year warranty on trees and a 1 year warranty on hardy plants. Another thing that's been great in the recent years is that they keep their inventory online, and the you can look up the types of plants. This has been fantastic, because places like Kemper Gardening Center and other websites describe conditions and plants, but finding the type of plants they describe at big box stores is IMPOSSIBLE. I went yesterday to pick up a few specialty trees, and was really impressed with the service and knowledge. The person helping me appeared to be extremely knowledgeable about local conditions, plant strains and 'how to' aspects of gardening... more than I've ever seen. Needs were exceeded, plant availability was good, and prices were competetive. I'll be going back!

Sherwood's Forest boasts a large selection of fairy garden supplies and has many of them set out in it's very own large fairy garden which is darling to look at. The kind staff was happy to help me load bags of soil into my vehicle. They also had good selection of pots, although the prices were quite steep compared to other garden centers on the same road.

Last summer i discovered this place. First, i was treated horribly by a ginger blonde. She was just rude. Then, i was looking at the house plants and discovered that they ALL had a infestation of mealies. I bright out to the blonde girls attention and she replied “we are aware of it, treated it and get over it”… WHAT!?!! I ran…didn’t walk, RAN! Went back a couple times just to see if they were actively doing something about it. NOPE! . Today i went there in hopes of change. Again…NOPE! Mealies on so many plants! So many! If you are new to the plant world, you may want to look up mealies and other pests so that you are aware of what you are buying. These WILL spread quickly! And you will lose your amazing plants you’ve put money and love into. I truly hope that you fix this issue.

Jim and gang were awesome in picking out a mature tree. Jim was extremely knowledgable and was awesome in assisting us in choosing a tree. They waited until dormancy to plant and the planting crew was very respectful of the landscaping and the tree itself. It is perfect. This will be our "go to" place in the future!

We had Lance and his team rebuild a disintegrating railroad tie retaining wall in a hillside location where we had laid a new asphalt drive. He was the only contractor to consider potential damage to the asphalt and offer a shuttling strategy from a staging area at the base of the hill. The new concrete block wall was complete within one week and is beautiful! There was no damage to the new asphalt and they patched along the new wall, and we are thrilled with the final result. I would highly recommend Lance's Landscaping and will likely work with them on future projects.

Lance and his crew are top notch! My wife and I have gone with Lance's Landscaping multiple times and they never disappoint. Always professional, always top-notch quality work. Highly recommend!

Lance and his team are absolutely amazing! We had a small leak in our basement that wasn't quite a flood, but annoying when it rained. Basement waterproofing companies suggested digging up the basement floor to install a sump pump and perimeter drain in concrete slab, but Lance addressed it from the outside by installing French drains and redirecting our downspouts and pop-ups to make sure water flows away from the foundation. He even texted after the first rain to make sure everything was working. Highly recommended

We highly recommend Lance's Landscaping. They not only did a great job on the landscaping but helped us determine where and why water was getting into our basement and resolved it by installing two French drains, removing a tree, excavating the yard to get the slope running away from the house, and replacing the downspouts. They were on time, finished when they said they would, and were very thorough and professional! Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
