Let me start this review with the conclusion. If you want the job done right and a partner who will listen and treat your project with patience like his own back yard, work with Lance and his team.

For our project, I worked with Lance for about two years on this very unique, large endeavor. We met many times - he always wanted to ensure we were on the same page. It's a lot of money and he understands. Lance coordinated excavation of a large hill along a historic house, the concrete for a new construction garage, and he and I designed a landscaping path and retaining wall system to tie the new garage together with the unique home and the beauty of nature. Also, in the later pictures provided, Lance coordinated the concrete work with Atlas for the beautiful and large driveway. I've told him he is welcome to use my property to highlight his abilities. I worked with about 20 various contractors and companies on this wide-ranging home renovation; Lance's Landscaping consistently delivered on scheduling, was very transparent with added costs when we had to change or if he had suggestions on how to ensure longevity of the water redirection.

For such a long, painstaking project. It gives me great pride to see what we accomplished and I am confident you will feel this same way if you choose to let Lance and his team show you what they can do.

Lance and his crew were really great to work with. Lance kept in communication over the months prior to our project starting. His plan to open up the landscaping and take out a needless wall was genius. It really makes our house look fresh and new. His crew were very friendly and professional. This was a huge project and they left like they were never here. Their clean up was really above and beyond. I highly recommend this company, we are so happy with their work and so is the neighborhood.

Simply said Lance and team are the best! I began working with Lance over 5 years ago. He installed a French Drain System helping my yard drain quickly even in the hardest of rain. He also built a retaining wall with a privacy fence. Last summer, he recreated my landscaping throughout the front of my house. If you want quality work, professionalism and service after the work is complete, call Lance. I highly recommend any of the work you may be considering.

Called to make an appointment for an estimate regarding a drainage problem. Someone called back several days later. Here's what I was told: if they come out they look at the issue, go back to draw up a plan. This costs you $800. IF you use their plan you are committed to spending AT LEAST $800. If you use them for the work they deduct the $800. If you don't like the plan or don't use them---you're out $800. So it's basically $800 for an estimate.

We needed grading and drainage around 3/4 of our home to keep water away from the foundation and out of the basement. Poynter worked with our budget and we broke the project into 3 smaller projects that were completed over a year and a half period since doing it all at once was unfortunately not an option for us. Large amounts of dirt were moved, several small drains and a large french drain installed, a couple retaining walls built, and a new front sidewalk poured. We had the grass seeded and several bushes relocated from areas that were going to be torn out.
The plan they drew up for us was complete and efficient, while also not stark and utilitarian. It looks lovely and we have a dry home!
Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful. Projects were always completed quickly. We hope to work with them in the future for other large projects down the road.

He wasn't the cheapest, but he was able to help us visualize what we were actually getting and worked with the layout of our backyard. I purchased my home 4 years ago and during the inspection, it was discovered that my patio wall may fall. It ended up falling 3 months later. I hired a company at that time and paid them in full. They set the brick wall back up, but that only lasted a few years and it began to lean again. I then saw a commercial earlier this year from Poynter Landscape and asked them to stop by and issue a bid. They explained that day in detail what the cause was and what is needed to be done to the wall and patio to permanently fix it. We hired them, and during the process, they not only fixed it permanently, they placed the bricks the right way so they look good and will not move again. They pay attention to every detail. They checked in throughout the process to make sure we were happy with everything, then did it again after they were done just to be sure they delivered as expected.

I am very happy with the results, price and customer service. Great company, amazing work and they stand behind everything they do. I will be using them again for everything I can going forward. I strongly recommend you consider the same.
