Its a good place to take tree cutting to disposed of. Dump price might be considered a slight bit expensive.

We dropped off some brush. I had never been there before but the guy didn't talk down to me and I felt like they wanted our business.

This is a great place to get compost. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and responsive to each of my request. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future

Prepare to be gouged. $795 price quote for a small 6" branch about 25' in length to be cut and removed. Run away as fast as possible, unless you like throwing money away.

Just used 5 yards of their mulch- laid out in less than 4 hours by myself!! Last year 3 of us laid 8 yards of mulch 8 hrs but from a different company-- will ALWAYS use Hansens Tree Service from Now on!!!

I can honestly say it was the worst dirt I've ever put on my garden. I might have just as well paved my garden. The dirt hardened up and the water just ran off. It had no nutrients at all. Save your money it isn't worth a nickel.

I used these guys last summer to remove a tree because I had heard good things, even though they charged more than anyone else i got an estimate from, and they were great, but this time not so much. I called last week to have an arborist come take a look at a dying tree, was told the arborist would call within 2 business days, I instructed them to call in the afternoon because I work nights. He called the next day at 912 am. I, of course, didn't answer. He left no message and didn't call later. I had to call them back later in the week to find out that call was him. I requested that he call again. This time we set up an appointment for Tuesday at 1 pm. Well, 45 minutes after the scheduled time he hadn't arrived and I hadn't been contacted. I called them and they offered to call him; when I told them I couldn't wait any longer today she said "we're sorry" with a very snotty tone and hung up on me.

They did a great job shaping up my unruly and decaying apple tree. tree seems happy, so I'm happy.

Great!!! Reeds Spring delivered and in a big way. And Brookline loaded me up w yards of ornamental in 10 min flat from arrival. The bear 🐻 who took my money Monday Oct 10 and chatted w me for a moment insured ill be back if I gotta drive another 5 min just cause he was personable. That counts for my buck.

(1) I purchased two (2) dump truck loads of "super soil" on 3/21/2016 for $1,159.99. I would classify it as "super crap"!!! The product was about 50% gravel, larger pieces of mulch, etc. The driver of the dump truck wouldn't spread the loads but "dumped" the loads. To spread a load of dirt w/a dump truck, you open the tailgate but a few chain links and secure. When the load is lifted in the air, the dirt will fall toward the rear of the dump truck and the driver simply drives away, leaving soil spread in a fairly even mound of dirt. This driver only wanted to dump the dirt and go on about his business. There was absolutely ZERO customer service. I wouldn't recommend their "super mulch" for anything!!! I was unable to get a new lawn started w/this product. I had to spend additional tons of money to even get grass to begin to grow. If it wasn't too much trouble, I'd scrape-up their super soil and return it to them. I'd ensure it got dumped at their front door. Do NOT use Hansen's Tree Services.
(2) I obtained a quote from Hansen's to trim the limbs that were overhanging my house. They quoted me a figure which I couldn't believe. I obtained a 2nd quote from a highly recommended neighbor and it was less than half of Hansen's quote. I wouldn't use Hansen's, therefore; for anything. They price gouge . . . apparently. Do your homework and get at least three quotes. Read the reviews and/or ask for references.

I had to get a very large tree removed out of my yard that was splitting down the middle. They gave me the best price out of everybody I had got a quote from. They removed the tree fairly quickly and did a good clean up afterwards. They stayed true to the proce of the quote. I definitely reccomend and will be using them again when needed.

Had Hansen's take down a tree and trim around my power lines. Crew did an amazing job. They quickly got the job done and cleaned up. The price was reasonable and the service from estimate to job completion was easy and everyone was very friendly. Will use them again when I have need of more tree work.

The crew of Jonathan, Tipton, Owen, and Cody did a supurb job of removing our dying tree and grinding the stump. Thank you for the great service!

I am leaving a 5 star review even though they could not do my job. I had severe tree damage following a storm that was very complex. They had the integrity and honesty to recommend a competing company that had the equipment to get it done. Not very many places would do that. I appreciate it so much and will recommend them to others who need tree work. Thank you!

Literally the best tree service we have used. They are our go to for all of our trimming and tree cutting. Excellent customer service and great employees.

Shelly made sure we paid an extra dump fee on top of our $120 bill for some sticks that could have fit in our trailer. However, because they were not physically in the trailer she charged us 50% more for our dump. She was very rude and discourteous about the whole thing as well.

Springfield Yard Waste is a mile down the road from Hansen's and charges less then half of what Shelly charged us. Spend your money there.
