GREAT Service!!! Receptionist listened and understood my problem when every other company I called acted like it wasn’t a big issue and would get to me days later when they had time. ((I had sewer water leaking all over my yard.)) They got someone out right away to address the problem. The technician was super helpful in explaining everything, showing me the problem and answering my abundance of questions. Highly recommend their services and will be using them for all future plumbing needs!

1. Thank you Grace for scheduling the appointment; you were pleasant and professional.
2. Rook is a fine young man who took care of the problems I was experiencing. He was polite and exhibited a great work ethic.
I will definitely call this company for all my plumbing needs. Fair pricing too! -
By Farr the best plumbing service I've had the pleasure of hiring! Price was very fair and Eli did a fantastic job on replacing my burst water bib that was leaking into my house. He answered my plumbing questions and saved me from a lot of frustration. I will use Farr Better Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. This business is going on my speed dial!

After another plumber that was scheduled quit returning my calls and never showed up, I called Farr Better, and quickly realized I should have called them from the beginning.
We were replacing our electric oven with a gas range, and needed a new gas line ran in the kitchen. Farr was able to come out and run a new gas line within a few hours of my call.
Work was done well, the service was professional and affordable. I’ll definitely reach out to Farr for any future plumbing needs. -
Had Adam come out to give me a home plumbing inspection. He was very thorough and took time to educate me on issues. I have had four other plumbers come out to look at my pipes in the last couple of months, he has been my favorite and it's not close. Well worth the $120 per hour. Everyone else seemed to be overly salesy or borderline apathetic, like they didn't even want to be there. Loved Adam and when the time comes I will be calling farr better plumbing for a bid.

I was recommended to this business from a business connection to add a gas line to my kitchen so that I could convert my electric stove to a gas stove. These guys did a great job! Communication was clear and responsive. They showed up as scheduled. Their original quote was a few hundred dollars more than it wound up costing based upon their estimate, but once they got in to the lines, they needed to less than they expected, so that resulted in a lower overall cost. I think it speaks volumes when a business is willing to charge you less than expected. That is fair and honest!

Farr Better Plumbing saved the day and our weekend!!! When they heard that we were without water to our house because of a main line break, they quickly put things together to make it to our house the next morning. They lined up all the dig rite & utilities to come out to mark everything before they started and we had water by Friday night. They also bore underground to get the tubing/pipe to our main water line in the house which did not disturb our lawn or landscaping which was a HUGE BENEFIT! They went above and beyond to make this experience as painless as possible. The crew that arrived were all very courteous, polite, conscientious and respectful. Would hire them again in a New York minute and will not consider hiring anyone else because of the service we received! THANK YOU FARR!!!

Update… Jan 15, 2024… The owner called me and offered to send someone out. We met with them and got the fridge working. Bumping this from a one-star to a two-star. If we can be made whole on the other repair issues/costs and property damage then we’ll update this again.
Update… Jan 14, 2024… We notified the owner of FBP that one of the pipes they ran in the attic froze (again). Today is Sunday and as of this last Friday we have been running a space heater non-stop in the attic and despite that, FBP’s water pipe still froze. The frozen water pipe is connected to the refrigerator so there isn’t a good way to put a drip on that line to keep it from freezing. Why FBP ran water pipes in an attic of a brand-new home is beyond us. My family would be happy to update this review based on FBP’s response to these ongoing plumbing issues and making us whole on all the property damage it’s caused.

Update — 6-28-2023 — The owner of the company contacted us. He made no offer to help make our family whole but instead he referenced this google review and threatened to sue my family for “slander and harassment.” Due to his threats, we have asked the owner to no longer contact us directly (unless he’s willing to help).

Today is 6-27-2023 and I’m willing to update this review, depending on FBP’s actions.
My family built a new home and we have had numerous issues including FBP putting the basement floor drain in the wrong room and improperly installing a sump pump which contributed to our basement flooding.
Greene County later told us that the sump didn’t meet code due to the other pipes FBP had stuck into the basin lid. FBP and our builder haven't confirmed or denied they were aware of this.
In addition to setting our sump pump system up so that it would run 52 weeks a year, FBP didn't add any layers of freeze protection to the sump pump discharge and the actual sump basin initially didn't have any holes in it. And because the floor drain wasn’t installed in the mechanical room, it worsened the flood damage. FBP has hinted to us that these issues should be resolved by our builder but our builder is giving us the runaround and our records show that we paid a lot of money to FBP and our expectation is that FBP stand behind their work and not hide behind whatever arrangement they may or may not have with their business partner.
FBP also ran pex water pipes in the attic, which our family believes is a terrible idea since we live in Missouri and every year it gets cold here. Not only did FBP run water pipes in the attic but those pipes weren't properly insulated and so they froze in Dec 2022 and only a month after moving into the new home. Travis with FBP blamed the lack of insulation on our builder but our builder has yet to confirm it was his oversight. We have asked FBP a couple of times to guarantee the pipes that they ran in the attic won’t freeze again in the future and they haven't provided us that guarantee. It's our family's opinion that it's unethical for FBP to not guarantee the pipes THEY decided to run in the attic won't freeze again in the future. Our family would have never agreed to running pipes in the attic if we were told by FBP that they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't freeze.
As I write this, my builder and FBP have not made my family whole for the flood damage that occurred in Dec 2022 (over 6 months ago).
There is much more in the way of photos and additional property damage that we have and may update this post with later. -
Adam from Farr Better Plumbing exceeded every expectation. He was incredibly fast, efficient, and thorough from start to finish. He repaired two exterior hose bibs that weren’t working, hooked up my dishwasher, garbage disposal, and range, and also set my kitchen sink and faucet perfectly.
Not only are they skilled and knowledgeable, but also patient with the homeowner. He took the time to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable with everything before wrapping up. It’s rare to find someone who works this quickly all while keeping a positive and friendly attitude.
If you need plumbing work done right the first time, Farr Better Plumbing is the team to call. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
Martin The tech was punctual, very professional, very knowledgeable and we would highly recommend this company for any service you need and we will definitely call if we ever need anything fixed in our home again thank you Farr plumbing. You guys are great!

Farr better did a fantastic job for the fraction of the price of their competitors! I know for a fact that statement is true. My sister in law had the same exact job done at her house by another company. They did it wrong and still charged her 3 times the amount Farr better charged me. And Farr Better did it right the first time. I will always use Farr better based on this job!

Farr Better did the plumbing in our brand new restaurant 3 years ago and we have had nothing but problems. We spent the extra money and went with all copper because of the benefits and reliability. Problems started the week before we opened, when our dining room flooded. They didn't solder a joint in the wall and when they turned the water on it flooded our dining room... So we opened our brand new restaurant with a whole in the wall. Since then we have had 6 leaking solder joints in various places around the building costing a couple thousand dollars thus "farr" to repair. Two have been directly above 2x4 LED lights that had to be replaced. They only honor a one year warranty. Horrible experience and will never again choose Farr Better.
Edit: Two days after writing this review we had another leak in our utility room. -
Recently had my drain cleaned, a few weeks later the problem returned, Adam did a fantastic job of rectifying the issue on the outside of my home. He has excellent technical skills along with great oral communication skills. Thanks so much, you can't beat Farr Plumbing!

Thursday 1/22/2026 when I got home from work I noticed a large puddle of water in my front yard. My 83 yr old Mom and I live together so I can take care of her and she told me she had been calling City Utilities to come out and see what’s going on. After several calls throughout the day from 10am they came at 6:30pm and turned the water off at the main and told us to call a plumber. The man said we were loosing 11gallons of water per minute!! I called and made an appointment with another company for Friday morning. After going to bed something woke me up and told me to look for another company then the one I chose originally. I can’t explain it but something drew me to Farr Better Plumbing so at 1:30am I called their emergency number and left a message. By 4:30am I received a call while on my way to work! By 7:30 am I talked to them again and was told a crew would be at my home soon! They came and dug up the front yard where the pooling water had been and found the problem and promptly fixed it!! Turns out our pipe came apart at the connector in one area. They did a fantastic job and were so kind as well! I truly feel God led me to this company and I’m so thankful he did!! If you need help, especially in an emergency do not hesitate to call these folks! We have water just in time for this big snow storm that is coming through starting today! Thank you so much to the folks at Farr Better Plumbing! You are truly lifesavers!

Granted we had a scheduling discrepancy at first.
Would recommend farr better plumbing to anyone for loyal hard working and fast! Replaced 2 stools in and out hour and 15 with no mess and they took the old stools.
Was cheaper than using lowes installation services.
Wish I could rember the young man that did the installation he did a heck of a job!!!
