I had an underground electric line run from my home to my garage. The trench had to be hand-dug so it took about 6 hours to complete. The work was done well and the cost was reasonable. I have used Galvin before and plan on doing so again in the future.

Another great visit. Tim took great care to add the new panel next to the existing without sacrificing aesthetics. He walked me through the new setup and explained everything in detail. I can't say enough about the service and attention to detail. Thanks for everything!

Tim from Galvin came out to my residence on March 21, 2025 to provide an estimate for us to extend our electrical access in our basement. Once we reviewed our requirements for enhancements with him he said he would have an estimate out to us shortly. We have yet to receive our estimate as of April 4, 2025. I have both texted and emailed without any correspondence in return from the company. If Galvin Electrical was not interested in the work we were requesting to be performed, they could have simply stated the have no intention in taking us on as clients. Instead they are playing an unprofessional game of ghosting.

Working with Galvin Electric has been a great experience. Our first contact they responded very timely and were able come out that day to evaluate our situation. They were very reassuring and informative about the issue. I was concerned about cost as everything is so pricey but their charge seemed very appropriate and did not change when they came back to complete the work. The repair involved coordinating with Evergy and Galvin did all the communication and planning directly with Evergy and kept us updated along the way. Once they came back to complete the repairs they were prompt, efficient, and again communicated so well with us and Evergy to limit the downtime of our electricity to complete the repair. We will definitely use them again if any other electrical issues arise.

Best experience I've had with an electric company.

Tim Galvin arrived to find a bit of a mystery with my electric panel/breaker box. Two hours later, and after countless trips up and down the stairs, he found the problem and had the solution. Methodical, patient, and determined is how I would classify Tim. I will not call anyone else for electrical work!

I scheduled my app't with Galvin Electric based on being locally owned and highly recommended on Yelp as well as other platforms. Tim Galvin arrived on-time, and performed his electrical solving skills professionally and superbly ! My electrical issue is now completely resolved. Tim also explained his findings on my issue in a very thorough and detailed, but intuitive, manner. I'm extremely impressed with Tim and the quality, yet affordable, skills and work rendered today.

I highly, highly recommend Tim and the Galvin Electric team for any of one's electrical needs. The Galvin team will remain in my phone's "Contacts" for ALL of my future electrical needs if/when things arise.

1 star. I had an appointment on the 5th of June. I still haven't received my quote. Zero communication from anyone within the company. I had to call twice for updates, and the second call, they still didn't have an update. So basically, I planned my work week, and wasted time, all for nothing. Use at your own risk.

Update:
Upon calling and posting this review, I received their quote almost immediately via email. It's quite clear, this one man electrician company, purposefully inflated their quote so I wouldn't take the job. Not even in the same stratosphere as the four other quotes I received. It appears they're stretched too thin.

Tim was great to work with for things up and running in no time. Very knowledgeable about pool pumps and getting them running. Excellent!
