They need to work on communication a little bit but I will honestly say that Justin and the female who also helped with this project did a awesome job, They showed up on the time they said they would, when they said it would take all day they meant it! I am very thankful for everything, the pricing was good as well, would I use this company again? Yes I would! O not to mention Justin is a very nice guy and easy to work with, ...so if you need electrical done give them a call, I highly recommend Justin for the job.

Stephen Seymour was great! I know next to nothing about electricity and we live in an old house with wacky wiring, so we made an initial appointment for him to look things over. We got an appointment within a day or so; he made several suggestions and implemented them within a couple of days at a very reasonable cost. He explained everything he was doing and helped us prioritize some other minor repairs to do at a later date. We signed up for the yearly maintenance plan (very affordable) and we're looking forward to seeing Stephen next time! Highly recommend.

He was here maybe 45 minutes. Found a short in an old timer for my pool pump and simply bypassed it. Charged me $423 or about $600 per hour labor. Outrageous and inexcusable!!!

To follow up on your comments to the above review, I received no estimate when I called your office on 7/3 or told the minimum charge would be $423. If I had known that, I would have called someone else.

It wasn’t until he showed up 2.5 hours later that he said the charge would be $423 but he said “I may charge half”. I needed the pump running for July 4th so I said yes.

I called numerous electricians yesterday and the charges ranged from a free estimate to $119 evaluation. None were anywhere near your $423.

Excellent response time, I had a gentleman fixing my issue less than 24 hours after I placed the call. Even though it had snowed 5inches from when I first called. Corey was quick and efficient, but still took time to answer my questions. He was also incredibly respectful of my home; even brining his own doormat to not track in snow from outside. An excellent experience, I will use Current Solutions Electric again when I have future electrical needs.

Stephen and Mike were amazing! My entire basement and laundry room were out of service and out of code. It needed to be rewired. They arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable. They even found additional issues such as loose wiring on my dryer and fixed it while they were here. Easy 5 stars. Would recommend to anyone.

I would give Jessica 10 stars. She did a phenomenal job and took much less time than I thought she would need. I could not have had a better experience. This girl is a keeper.

I had been calling around to a few different electrician companies trying to find someone who could resolve my issue before I was leaving town the next day. Current not only was able to accommodate, but the owner himself showed up to complete the job within 30 minutes. Ian was fantastic and even helped complete a small side project I had been putting off for no extra fees beyond the initial job quote. I’m saving the Current number for all future electrical work! Amazing!

I appreciated the electrical outlet repair done by Ian of Current Solutions--It took less than an hour and now my dehumidifier is running to keep my house cooler. Ian also mentioned that my circuit breaker panel was one that had been recalled 25 years ago and that I might consider getting it replaced--no attempt to scare me into getting the upgrade, but I will probably do so. I was also given pictures of the damage done to the electrical outlet and a clear explanation of what had happened. The technician stayed until after the dehumidifier operated safely for 15 or 20 minutes. I am very happy with the service call.

This company was recommended by our furnace guy after I described my problem. He was very responsive to my inquiry and produced a bid and after a little go around with the utility company work was scheduled. Jesse and Stephen showed up on time and did an excellent job figuring out how to bring our 70 year old mid century classic up to codes in no time. Code inspector was impressed and signed off on their work. The crew cleaned everything up and left the space spotless. Ian, Jesse and Stephen were great to work with and I will be recommending their work to anyone.

$625 ish quoted to replace 1 single GFCI bathroom outlet.

I cannot remember the exact amount. As I was flabbergasted.
$89 call out service fee.
Once in my house the technician said it would be a $423.50 charge to tell me what’s wrong with a single bathroom outlet. So instead being out $89 went ahead. No mention of this charge in the 10 min on the phone booking, and describing my problem.
Hoping the fix would be included in the already $423.50 charge. Nope an extra 200ish for a replacement outlet.

The diagnosis charge was to tell me the outlet was corroded at the ground and recommended replacement. The $423.50 did include a 15 point diagnostic.

Upon the hearing the $625 number I told the technician to not continue. And would go elsewhere. I called the company being out $423.50. Spoke to Ian the owner after a short discussion, I asked the owner- “do you stand by your price of $625 to replace a single bathroom outlet?”
Ian- “yes”

Ian did send the technician back out to replace the outlet for no additional charge beyond the $423.50. As he said- “don’t want you to have nothing out of this”.

But writing this to warn others. Because I feel confused and taken advantage with predatory pricing. Confused how this company has so many reviews.

Now sitting here with a $423.50 bathroom outlet.. and a wish that I would’ve just eaten the $89 service fee.

Emily was the picture of professional. She did a great job and was a pleasure to talk with.

We had some scheduling difficulties due to the people marking our utilities, but, once it was done, Tim came out and did exactly what was promised. Impressively, he did it while I was out of town and did it all on a very hot day. In addition, he was very was courteous to my wife, who was holding down the fort.

friendly folks but the misunderstanding between the service center and the field rep needs to be addressed as i was changed $90 just for you to pull up, the service center told me the diagnostic fee would be $90 and would be waived if i choose to have the technician proceed with the job, once the field tech arrived he/she stated that i need to pay the $90 call fee before she look at the issue, i informed her that i was told that once you look at the job and i accept the charges the fee would be waived, she/he stated that was not the case and the $90 fee was just to have her come out, she then stated that it would cost me an extra $450 bucks for the diagnostic !!!! i again informed her what i was told, she made a call and came back to the office and said i still had to pay the fee no matter if i wanted the diagnostic or not!!!! sad way to run a company

Working with CSE was a wonderful experience! Within an hour of my initial inquiry, I received a phone call from the office manager who was very personable and listened to the scope of work that I wanted to have done. Two days later they sent Jessica, aka Superwoman, to complete the work. She was punctual, knowledgeable, and overcame obstacles from my previous electrical work with a smile. Replacing my chandelier ended up requiring a trip to the attic and a few extra steps, but Jessica educated me every step of the way and was happy to take the extra time to complete the job even better than it was before. She was fantastic! I highly recommend using CSE for all of your electrical needs.
