after i bought weed n feed i needed a seed sprayer. so i walk in and i was greeted with "what are you doing here?" as a former bartender im trying to remember when i ever would dare ask that. after i made way through their gestapo sales team they only had one seed sprayer for $200 ish. btw i share a property line with grasspad. they didnt just do this with a customer, they did it with a neighbor.

Always have the most knowledgeable and helpful employees. Went to pick up sod and fertilizer and had to wait for the sod to be delivered and when they truck arrived the gentleman unloading the skids brought one right to the back of the vehicle and loaded us right up. Best place to shop for all things needed for your yard and garden.

The Grass Pad has been a game-changer for me (and my yard). Their staff is extremely knowledgeable; they have had solutions to every issue I've brought them. All of their staff has been extremely friendly as well, and even on the busiest of days they have gotten me in and out quickly. Truly a great place to do business!

They are friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a good Idiot Proof Program that I use every year. I like how they get you on their email list so you never miss when its time to buy the next step of their lawn program. Plus in their emails they have helpful knowledge about their products. They have some Saturday classes through out the year to help educate you about lawn care.

3 yrs ago, I decided to start using the "IDIOT PROOF" lawncare system on both my daughters yard and mine. we both got fungus, neither ever had it before. bought their expensive fungus fighter to stop it and that worked. next yr same thing. this years my daughter put the fungus fight down (a month ago) as they have added that to their pamphlets. I did not. Last weekend I put down step 3, as directed by dates they say, and this weekend BOTH my daughter and I have fungus again. we live on opposite sidea of town and none of our neighbors have fungus. they want me to believe it lives in the soil and it is just a coincidence yet neither of us had it until we started using the program and none of our neighbors have it. I walked my dogs past a hundred home and none have it. ironically when I was in their asking them why and having them tell me it is what it is, 2 more people cane in asking about fungus. amazing. they also tried to say it could be something else or a dog peeing in the yard. the dog must be able to jump fences, to pee if both front and back yard, as well as run across town to my daughter...all in the same week. needless to say, not using this program any more.

Customer service is not completely a lost art. Steve at the Lee's Summit store was very friendly, knowledgeable and helped the girlfriend for a good period of time, showing her flowers that would work with the design in her head. While I'm 200.00 broker, she's happy..And when she's happy (fill in the rest of the line)...Thanks Steve for a peaceful night. 😆

I've lived in Lee's Summit for ten years and absolutely couldn't say better things about the Lee's Summit location. Very knowledgeable staff, very polite and very attentive. Not to mention, the young employees I have encountered and who see me on a regular basis are very respectful and kind, always upbeat. I really enjoy coming to this location.

Great customer experience, incredibly knowledgeable staff. I'm putting down some macho mix, rennovator, and snowman this year -- excited to see the results.

I’ve come here for the last 2 years and got the kit multiple times. For some reason my number, name, address isn’t in the system, they lost all my points and have to create a new profile and start all over. Today I spent 394 dollars for the spring 10 set up. I get home to work on the yard and put the prevent down and I have NO grass seed. I call to verify that I bought it and Richard said yes and I should have it. He wants me to drive over there again, I said no as it’s pretty far for me. I say I would be in Wednesday I guess. Very disappointing when you spend so much and the order is wrong.

I've been doing business what's the Grass Pad for 5 years the products are excellent and the employees are very very knowledgeable and helpful. Wished I knew the gentleman's name that waited on me today he was working behind the counter back where they sell the grass seed. He sold me a couple of different kinds to blend together. Some other businesses need to send their employees over there and have them trained concerning customer service. If they were six stars that's what I would give them

This was an excellent experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We have been looking to purchase coco hull mulch. Grass pad is the only place in town that had any. They offered no contact loading.
Thank you grass pad for your professionalism knowledge and friendliness. Yes, I will highly recommend you to all my gardening friends -
Great selection of flowers and reasonably priced. They were also able to give us some information on when to seed our lawn. I've heard good things about their grass seed. I hope it works for us 🤞

I just love going to this place. They have everything you need for your yard. Flowerpots concrete stuff A-to-Z people are very knowledgeable and very friendly. The prices ain’t too bad either.

In April I purchased $125 worth of seed and
weed killer. My yard looks the worst ever.
I went back a week ago and got crab grass killer. Help were very polite and helpful.
However. When I returned today the Boss
had no sympathy about my lack of grass when I showed him photos. And said we had least rain and many lawns died.
I had hoped that he would have " worked"
something out, but like their advisement,
It was not IDIOT PROOF. LOST CUSTOMER -
I have used there lawn plan now for several years and always get compliments on my yard. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. The guys at the seed counter are always patient with my dumb questions. We are currently trying to rid a couple of patches in my yard of fungus in the heat and humidity time. Will report back on that. But do sign-up for Uncles Idiot Proof Program, you wont regret it.

Get ready for a passive aggressive comment from the cashier when you don't sign up for their loyalty program

Picked up sod at a very reasonable price. I only had my car so I had to make 2 trips and Jonathan helped me both times. He was extremely helpful loading for me and a joy to be around. The world needs more of him. He definitely deserves a raise!

Grass pas in lees summit. Do not recommend. They started out nice but then went down hill. My husband and I purchased 6 fruit trees. Went to pick them up and they didn’t have one of our Fuji apple trees. They said we would have to come back. My husband asked if they would call us when it as in and they said no. We would have to keep calling and ask. We called them weekly for over a month waiting for our tree. Finally we called and they said they had 3 in. Since we have to drive 30+ mins my husband asked if they would put one back for us. They said they would. We drove the 30+ minutes the next day. No one in the store knew what we were talking about and needless to say they didn’t have our tree. We spoke with Steve the nursery manager and he said no we don’t have them. Won’t have them until Fall. We explained what happened and he said well….we don’t have them. Thankfully we were able to get a refund for that 1 tree but will not be buying here again.

I went to Grass Pad in Lee's Summit. My girls and I were looking for a real Christmas tree. I walked over to the sale signs, by the plants and bushes. I was approached by this young man, a red head. He said his name was Johnathan and he worked in the nursery. He began to tell me about plants. They were buy One and the second One was for a penny. BUT he was mumbling things and then every sentence was ended with a humming sound like "hhhnnnn". His eyes were bugged out and he kept following us around, trying to explain each plant that we stopped and looked at.... I told him that I was just looking. He followed us through the Christmas tree rows. The girls kept looking back, incredibly afraid and distressed. I just left. This was the worst salesperson that I have ever encountered at a business. It was a scary and a sketchy experience. I hope this Nursery salesperson is not the face of Grass Pad. Why shop and feel disturbed? Not my type of place. Not a good look!

Every staff member I dealt with was extremely helpful and courteous. KC helped me coordinate plants for a couple of hanging baskets - her suggestions and plant combinations were awesome
