Within a half a day, we went from an old poorly working unit back to 72 degrees and a brand new American Standard H-VAC system. Customer service at its finest! Gary & Kari were a pleasure to work with while we had 2 HVAC units replaced, & Donna (the receptionist) was excellent in coordinating schedules/helping get us cool air ASAP despite their already full schedule. I’m so glad we finally found a wonderful company who truly takes care of their customers, & does so at reasonable prices!!! My kids fell in love with Gary & Kari too! 😊

We needed the HVAC system replaced in a rental property. Matt was recommended by my brother-in-law who is a home builder and electrician in the area. Matt gave us a fair quote with several options. His team installed the new system in one day and even gave us a bit of an upgrade for the same quoted price. I highly recommend Smithco.

This is my first Google review of Smithco Mechanical but not my first experience with them. On the contrary, we have had both HVAC systems replaced in our home with their American Standard products. Now they replaced our old water heater.
From their technical expertise, accommodating and punctual scheduling of work, to the highly professional and meticulous installation; Matt, Corey, Gary, and Kerri have consistently exceeded my very high expectations!

Highly recommend SmithCo for HVAC! Extremely honest pricing, 24/7 customer service, and impeccable installation and clean up!! You can’t beat a company that stands by their word!

First off, SmithCo gave us a great deal on our new heating and air conditioner system for our home. They were there less than 24 hours after our system broke down and gave us a very reasonable offer. One month after the installation, Gary Johns came back out as a courtesy to make sure the unit was operating properly. While checking things out he noticed that we had no air being pulled into the upstairs returns. He discovered that there was no air being pulled from the entire upstairs of the house. After looking into the issue, he found that the builders (17 years ago) did not put the appropriate duct work in the house and this somehow got past inspectors. Gary told us he had "never seen anything like this." At that point, he got on the phone with Matt Smith, owner of SmithCo. My wife and I braced ourselves for another huge bill. Gary and Matt came up with a solution to fix the upstairs air flow and told us they would take care of it at no charge. My wife and I were blown away. This is how you take great care of your customers. Matt, Gary, Cory Willbanks and Karrie from the SmithCo office have been amazing and we will always give them our business. If you want to be treated like a friend and be given great service and extremely affordable rates, then you need to go to SmithCo. I was referred to SmithCo Mechanical Heating & Cooling via the Mitsubishi Electric “Diamond Contractor” locator program. I called and set up an in-house product consultation and quote on a new Mitsubishi Inverter heat pump outdoor unit paired with a new Mitsubishi all-electric ducted indoor unit. Matt Smith came to my home to discuss my request, and in our long consultation he covered all the products that he had at his disposal. He went above and beyond to answer every question I asked.

Matt helped with problem solving and designing the best possible equipment configuration for my family’s comfort needs. We discussed multiple options across a two-week period while I researched additional add-ons and accessories for my new system. Matt issued amazingly competitive quotes and brilliant financing options. After a lot of deliberation my family decided to go with a Daikin inverter heat pump outdoor unit paired with an all-electric variable speed indoor unit. Frankly, it is very hard to say no to a 12-Year Parts and Labor Warranty paired with such an efficient mechanical system.

On the day of the install, Matt and his team of amazing installers (Gary & Kerri) arrived and got straight to work. No time was wasted, and they kept a very clean job site. After a very long and cold day’s work, Matt and his team packed up and headed home. They followed up with me and had Gary come back out to do some fine tuning of the system the following day to ensure everything ran flawlessly. Matt regularly communicated with me to ensure I was satisfied with the product and the install.

We had 3 Mitsubishi units installed and we love them. Very quiet and efficient. Matt is very knowledgeable and helped us make a decision on our purchase that would best fit our situation.

Service from start to finish was awesome. Through the quoting process, I felt no high-pressure tactics and it was very clear and conversational. Install was completed quickly and cleanly, and the systems work wonderfully. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I had my furnace go out in the middle of the night. We called Smithco at 7 the next morning and they shuffled things around to come out and check everything out at 10 that same morning! Gary arrived and did all testing possible on the unit and determined that it had to go (it was 25 years old so no surprise). He took the time to explain the difference in all the units they had available to help us make an informed decision. The air conditioner was just as old so we decided to go ahead and replace it as well since we had been have problems with it anyway. Gary called his boss and explained that he knew how busy they were but was willing to work extra time to get the system installed for me since I had young children. Gary and Kerri came back the next morning and worked most of the day to get everything completely installed!
I HIGHLY recommend Smithco! They are very caring people that go out of their way to get you taken care of! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my heating and cooling needs!

I have used Smithco for several years and they have installed and serviced our HVAC in several properties. I have been most satisfied with every piece of work that they ever did. Particularly noteworthy is their dependability and prompt appointment keeping. Matt and Cory are very courteous and polite and both are very knowledgeable and experienced. I have recommended them to family and friends and all have been very impressed with their work. We feel very fortunate to know such a highly qualified and valued HVAC guy.

I would never consider any other HVAC Company than SmithCo for these reasons: Matt and Gary have installed 3 systems for me over the past ten years (different locations).. they all work perfect. Matt has returned calls and text about questions I have immediately even at 6:00 PM on Saturday and. Sunday evening. What other company does that?. none! Gary is also the best .. hang onto him Matt.

They did a great job!!! My AC went out in the hottest part of summer!! As i called around and everyone was to busy to even talk until i got ahold of Matt at Smithco he took the time to set down with me and explain all of my options and give me bids and never rushing me. Donna was outstanding!!! Always on the ball and quick to return calls. My service techs Gary and Cory did great detailed work. They are both outstanding hard workers!!! Kept my house clean!!! We just had an outstanding experience with Smithco. There were a couple mistakes made on the install that were not caught during the walk through. It happens. Anyone expecting perfection will eventually be disappointed. How an organization responds to correct a mistake is where real customer service has the opportunity to shine, and Smithco did. Matt personally came back and spent 3 hours going over the install to ensure everything was corrected and working as intended. We now have the peace of mind that our HVAC system will provides years of trouble free service. When Smithco says they have a “happiness guarantee”, they absolutely mean it. Highly recommended.

We had our new American Standard HVHC system installed by Smithco 2 years ago. We’ve been very happy with the unit and the quality of installation that Smithco provided. We recently had them out for a service problem, and they responded quickly and did a great job fixing the issue. The Smithco service tech (Gary) was absolutely great! He was very knowledgeable about the system, courteous, and conscientious in his clean up. I would highly recommend Smithco to anyone needing work done on a current system or when purchasing a brand new HVHC system.

Smithco did a great job for us and were very expedient and honest in their diagnosis when we had a bad experience with a couple of other companies. Corey and Kerri came to our home for our new furnace installation and did a great job. They were both polite and concerned about keeping our home clean and did a great job of answering questions. We will definitely use Smithco in the future and I would recommend them to anyone.

Our install was done a little over two months ago and we have been extremely pleased with Smithco and our American Standard air-forced heat pump unit! I talked with Donna so many times and her kindness and patience with me (I’m slow, analytical, and like details) was great. Matt sat with my wife and I to discuss our options and never pushed a higher priced unit over the lesser ones. I appreciate his attention to detail and desire to make sure we are taken care of promptly and pleased with the unit we bought, the installation and the service. Corey was our technician and I was blessed to get to know this young man! He was careful, thoughtful, prompt and also a blessing to my family members that interacted with him. There was no smoking, cussing, everything was kept clean (I understand from reviews of some other companies, sadly this doesn’t always hold true!) and we have received excellent follow up to make sure all is well. We have also had the pleasure of meeting Gary and having a faulty safety switch replaced by him. Our home is so much more pleasant now! We didn’t realize how keeping the humidity lower by having this variable speed compressor would make the summer heat much more bearable. We have kept the temperature and humidity lower while having a hotter summer than the last few. Our electric bill is down about $100 compared to last year - and last summer was much cooler. We can’t wait to gain the benefit of the heat pump this winter and not go through so much propane. We couldn’t be more pleased with Matt and the team at Smithco Mechanical!!

We ended up having to replace the heat pump and air handler in our house. A prior experience using Smithco was great so I chose them for this big project. The techs were courteous and professional and the system up and running the same day they started. We needed a new HVAC system, so we got 4 estimates for the same Trane system before making our decision. SmithCo came in with the best price, beating the highest price estimate by $8000, so we obviously chose them. Matt was very knowledgeable about HVAC systems, and very polite and easy to talk to. He takes the time to explain things to you, and does not try to push anything on you that is not needed. His installers, Gary and Austin were very knowledgeable, and also very easy to talk to. They are very polite and professional, and got the installation done in one day, even though it was a tougher than normal install. They cleaned up everything when they were done, and except for there now being a new system instead of the old one, you would never have even known they had been there. I love hiring people that take pride in the job they do. That is very hard to find these days. Awesome job guys!

From the first call with Matt to Gary coming to my house they were professional and on time. They explained everything and got us exactly what we needed for our house without all the hassle. They were professional, punctual, they did fantastic work and they made sure to clean up and leave the place better than they found it. They were amazing I can’t praise them enough. I also use a home warranty company and Gary spoke to them and got them to pay for my furnace as well after it had already been installed which was a huge bonus for us. Thanks to them we have a new complete system at a amazing price and I feel worry free now. I will never go anywhere else for my heating and air needs.
