Our water heater failed at 11 am today. By 5:45 pm today, Adam had the new unit installed and producing hot water. Thanks Castlewood and Adam for the prompt, efficient and professional service.

Adam did a great job. Very professional and did his work neatly and with good quality. Isolated the issue and did only the tasks that needed a professional involvement and gave recommendations for the rest; thus not charging me for anything extra. Over all great service !

The tech was nice and on time. There was nothing wrong with him.

I just wanted a quote on some plumbing for a very, very small job. They stated over the phone and in person that the companies policy was they couldn’t give me a quote without a $69 charge. I figured with the good reviews, I would take the chance. The quote was $2,000! I said no, they left with my $69 and 20 minutes in my house.

I got another company to give me a quote for no service fee and much less of a price to do the work!

Also, Thome doesn’t charge by the hour. It’s a “flat fee”

    That was my experience.

This company is Amazing, had to have my water heater changed, I called late in the day, they fit me in the next morning, Adam showed up, very professional and not pushy. He followed the mask rules, finished the job, left my house in excellent condition. You want great service, Call Castlewood Plumbing.

I found the office workers to be very professional and pleasant when I was scheduling and asking questions. Our plumber, Nick was very knowledgeable, friendly and checked the diagnostics of a previous plumber that had recommended work that would have cost thousands of dollars. Nick was able to fix the problem at a fraction of the original cost. I would recommend Castlewood Plumbing.

While employees I interacted with were friendly and respectful, the policies and pricing of this company are ridiculous. They would not give an estimate without a visit that carried a $149 fee which would be waived if they did any work. I assumed I could have them do at least some part of my job for a reasonable cost to avoid the fee, but because of their tasking policies, the minimum job I could have them do was priced at over $400. The entire project was quoted at about $2,500 (even with their $100 off coupon that sucked me in in the first place). I got a quote from another highly rated plumber (based on emailed pictures and explanation of the project) and had them do the work instead for a quarter of that price. Seems like a scam when the customer either has to grossly overpay for services or (as I did) pay a huge $149 fee for no service.

What a wonderful job! Adam was so professional, personal and thorough. He solved our water volume problem and didn’t go to the easier and more expensive alternative. All situations and fees explained in advance. We were very pleased and Castlewood will be our go to plumbers!

Castlewood plumbing was prompt, on time, cordial and highly professional during both the assessment trip and the installation job to replace our sum pump system and outdated/non-compliant pipes. The quality of their work, as far as I can tell, is really top notch. I would highly recommend their service. Depending on the job, their quote could be considerably higher than some other bids, so it is something to consider. But we definitely feel the peace of mind it brings by working with a highly competent company.

We used this company before when it was Thome plumbing for our kitchen. Recently had stack work and the plumber , Adam , was great. Quality excellent , clean up excellent . Adam explained the job and gave me the most cost effective way to handle my problem. All costs were given upfront. I will use them again in the future.

We received a quote for a faucet replacement. The cost of the faucet (cheap utility sink faucet) and the the labor was $814. Are you serious!! Am I being uncharged for Chesterfield? I can but the faucet for less then $100...which means a $700 install fee!!

    Ridiculous!

Adam did a fantastic job. Very thorough in his work, patient in his explanations, and even gave some extra tips along the way. We were surprised with the cost of adjusting the pressure regulating valve ($228) but this is our first home and we are learning that plumbing service is very expensive. Thank you Adam and thank you, Castlewood Plumbing!

I’ve called on Castlewood Plumbing for my needs several times over the years and they’ve always provided 5 star service. This time I needed a drain snaked. Shane Scott, the technician, arrived promptly, explained my options and carried out the work efficiently. He was very respectful and engaging. You can’t go wrong with Castlewood Plumbing!

Well I called this company to replace our kitchen faucet and they just quoted me $780 for labor as I already bought the sink. The technician confirmed this is an hour of work..come on what kind of business charges $780 for a simple job? Feels very predatory unfortunately. Castlewood Plumbing 🪠 do better. Don’t trust these clowns.

Update🚨 🚨: a local company to Ballwin, Mo quoted and executed the job for $252….
Additionally, I notified the phone representative when I first called that my wife and I will not be present but my sister-in-law will be here and they were fine with it. Sounds like you need to get your operations in order. Your welcome Castlewood Plumbing for the $149 service charge. Stay away from Ballwin, Mo you are clearly preying on West County families in a tight spot. Respectfully, GET LOST!

Pleasant people, easy to deal with, on time......felt it was a little pricey but I had nothing to compare with..

We had a joint leaking in the basement. There is a trip charge. The cost given by the tech to replace the joint was just under $600. The tech did a great job but the reason for 2 stars is that I called three times and asked someone return our call to confirm the charges were correct. It seemed a little high but we just wanted someone to confirm. No one has returned a call.

Had some work done awhile ago and they left over 10 gallons of sewer water in buckets in my basement as well as charge me an insane amount without giving me a quote beforehand. They did get the job done and I haven’t had problems since but I wouldn’t recommend this company.

Work looks great, fixed my sump pump and ran a line that has a continuous slope! A little more expensive than I would have imagined, but the quality was good.

They tried to charge me 2500 to run 4 feet of copper line to a shower head that I had the parts for already. The guy took my $150, smoked 2 cigarettes in my driveway in less than 30 minutes and drove away. I had a 700 quote already

I would not trust this guy to do my job regardless.
