RoyalTee Plumbing

Talked to Jasen on 4/15/25 and set an appointment for 4/18/25 @8am. I took off a half-day of work to be here. He took all my pertinent info such as email, phone, address, etc. and said he'd see me on 4/18/25 @8AM. NO SHOW!!! How unprofessional!! Never a phone call, text or email stating why he wasn't coming as I know things happen. This was beyond rude and very unprofessional.

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with RoyalTee Plumbing. Two technicians came out to remove our hot water heater. While they were in the basement working, they heard our sump pump running routinely. Despite me explaining that this was normal and not a concern, one technician decided to “check it out”. They completed their work on the hot water heater and left.
The next morning, we discovered our basement was flooded. I immediately called the owner of RoyalTee, Jasen, who sent a technician to inspect the situation. It turned out the sump pump had been unplugged, which caused the flooding. Once it was plugged back in, everything worked normally again.
Initially, RoyalTee accepted responsibility and arranged for a drying service to come out. However, the floors and walls remained wet for four days, leading to mold growth. When I contacted RoyalTee about the damages—over $7,000 for the floors, walls, and furniture—they refused to take responsibility and suggested I file a claim to my homeowner’s insurance instead. They denied making any mistakes, but it’s hard to believe that a sump pump that had functioned perfectly for the seven years we've owned it just happened to unplug itself right after their technician inspected it. The technician admitted to tampering with it, and since then, the sump pump has worked fine.
I don't usually write negative reviews; in fact, this is probably the first one I've ever submitted publicly. However, I feel it's important for others to be aware of the owner's lack of accountability before deciding to use their services.
