Both technitions were very good and got my system up and running. They were 2 more peppers and one cucumber short of a five star rating.

Wonderful service. The tech showed up when expected he was knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing. Prices were reasonable with no overtime charge. Bottom line a/c working and home is comfortable again.

Everyone was professional and their response time was amazing! My furnace was fixed partially so we would stay warm with in 5 hourshour within 24 hours it was completely fixed. I highly recommend!

Awesome service! The gentleman that they sent was very helpful. He explained what the issues were, exactly why they caused the problems they did and how he was going to fix them. He answered my questions thoroughly and was extremely polite and respectful. When he had to leave to get parts, he told us where he was going and returned when he said he would.

Penrod replaced our furnace on short notice and we couldn't be happier. We found them in the Christian business phone directory while at Golden Corral. SO glad we found an honest business. They saved us a lot of money!

When it comes to heating and air, you really don't need to look any further than Penrod. Reasonably priced and highly skilled. They're busy, but for good reason. They're good at what they do and they won't charge you an arm an a leg.

My A/C went out at the house during a week long 100 degree drought! My home warranty company couldn't get a guy out to the house. So I called Penrod, because several people recommended them. They were AWESOME! The technician was knowledgeable and friendly! He got here, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was done in less than an hour. They are a 24 hr service! Give them a call if your A/C decides the heat is too much!

Updated Review: To add to my old review, I have to say Penrod (Jeff) Heating and Air is one of the most honest businessmen/service techs I know. If someone is inside my furnace or air conditioning unit I want it to be Jeff Penrod. I can trust that my equipment is in good hands, and that I will be treated fair and honestly. You just cannot go wrong if you call him for service. He is who I trust, and he has reasonable rates. Local business that has been in this area a very long time.

I highly recommend this business. HVAC replacement is a h.u.g.e. investment. Thankfully instead of pushing new systems on me, these gracious people have repaired parts + added information so that my house is feeling FINE! AND my pocketbook in tact LOL! TY AGAIN!

FULL DISCLOSURE... the Hillbilly grew up next door to the Penrod family. There, now that THAT is out of the way, I can tell you about my experience with the BEST HVAC company in SW MO.
The Hillbilly's house's 2 ton heat pump started needing assistance 3 years ago. But, under advisement from Jeff, we just repaired it and waited to replace it until the new freon standard came out this year.
Our new unit is wonderful! It is much more efficient and is doing a better job cooling my upstairs than the older one by far. I'll have to watch my electric usage for a year or so, but I'm willing to bet this new unit is going to save me a LOT of money in the future.
Look, HVAC repair or replacement is never going to be fun. But, if you do need someone you can trust, it's Penrod Heating & Air. They are a locally family-owned business that has been in business for over 60 years and have exactly ONE review that is not 5 stars. Call them and find out for yourself why everyone else thinks they are great. And tell them the Hillbilly sent ya.

Nick is awesome, personable, knows his stuff and does not over charge, tells you everything he is doing and even showed me. Professional and flexible when it comes to appointments.

My 93yr old Mother's system went out. They sent out a guy PDQ! Compressor shot. Gave replacement price. Or, for a little more than twice that price. Replace whole system. The system is from mid 1970's. Seemed like a good idea to me. They got the AC going in time for 90 degree day. (In March!!)
