I had a sink full of dirty dishwater and a very clogged garbage disposal. Sothern came out the same day and the repair was affordable. So nice to quick AND well priced.

I called with the classic “the sink won’t drain and I’ve already tried snaking it and fixing some pipes and now I’m soaked and furious” scenario. An appointment was made FOR THE NEXT DAY, and despite stupid-cold temps and I’m sure a busy schedule, Mark Ritchie showed up and was efficient, professional and an all-around delight to have perform the work. The work was done right, quickly and at a very fair price. I can’t emphasize enough….this company is GREAT!

I contacted Sothern on Monday afternoon after another business was no show/no call via email and receiveda prompt response. Angela was very professional and courteous. Because my job was small but somewhat urgent - I wanted a leaky outside faucet fixed before the cold weather arrived later this week - we agreed she would fit it in on Wednesday or Thursday.
On Tuesday she called because they had a cancellation and set a tentative time of 'around 2'. I told her I would be home all afternoon but she still took the time later to call me with an updated time. Ben also called when he was about 15 minutes away.
Ben first tried a repair but the faucet still dripped a bit so we agreed on a replacement. He finished quickly and gave every appearance of striving to do a quality job. He was also very courteous.
I would recommend Sothern to my friends.

I was nervous searching for a plumber online because you never really know what you are going to get! I contacted several different plumbers in my area and Sothern Plumbing was very responsive, reasonably priced and friendly....so I took a leap of faith and hired them. So glad I did! The work was done on time, at a great price and the work done was great quality! The technician that came to our home was amazing. Recently had Sothern Plumbing come out and do a job for me and as usual when I call them they send someone out as fast as possible! A young man named Ben came out this time fixed our problem and even fixed a problem in the shower I hadn't requested! The job was done totally to our satisfaction and like all of their employees Ben was totally polite, understanding and new his business. Oh yeah and the pricing is always fair with Sothern Plumbing! Absolutely amazing technician. Came in and actually accessed all of our and went above and beyond. I believe the technician's name was Ben! He was phenomenal. He answered all our questions. I felt extremely comfortable having him in our home!!!

Ben was FANTASTIC at fixing all our outdated plumbing concerns during our move to the family farmhouse. He didn’t mind crawling under the house, very snug, to rectify problems that others had avoided. He was patient, an excellent communicator and did tons of trouble shooting. We will use Sothern for all future plumbing projects.

I got hit by that giant windstorm/tornado on 6/29 and it was awful; a giant oak tree came down ripping out my plumbing. Anyway, Sothern Plumbing helped me out and did a great job and were conscientious about expenses. The best part is they are genuinely good people: Yankton, Ben, Quincy, Angela....etc. really caring good people. I recommend them for sure.

Called yesterday regarding a loud noise under my house after flushing a toilet in another part of the house happening consistently. The person helping me with my appointment was very nice and personable. They were able to schedule me first thing this morning. Ben showed up and was very nice and listened to my issue, however we could not get the noise to happen on cue, ugh. He had a theory but I said my tank had not been sealing real well on the inside. The parts were 20+ years old and Ben changed them out. Noise still did not happen and hasn't. He went under the house to check on what he thought could be an issue but he said the valve was working exactly how it should. Since he was here I had him check my outside faucets that leaked when in use, and he repacked them. Biggest takeaway is, from the beginning call to when Ben left, Sothern Plumbing was courteous and I felt they really wanted to help me. I am cost conscious and felt that the cost was great for the excellent service I received. I am very happy that I have found a plumbing company I will use for any needs I have in the future. Thank you!

I broke a shower valve trying to replace it and had a leaky tub. Sothern came out quickly and did a great job! He was very friendly, professional, and reasonably priced.

Got me in two days ahead of schedule showed up and stayed 2 hours past quitting time to get our drains flowing again. Reasonable rates, and stellar service. Could not recommend more.

I needed a section of my water main replaced. Evan, provided great communication, was prompt, courteous, and professional. He completed the repair in a timely fashion and the work performed was top notch. I will definitely use this company for any further plumbing needs.
