The company took over the Landscape Maintenance of the residential landscape. The first year went relatively well for a new companies take over of a transition where the residence had a full time gardener. The staff was hard working and showed up regularly to execute landscape maintenance. The site has a long time property manager who oversaw the crews work.. The only weakness is that the landscape crew needs to have one educated horticultural leader to manage the crew on each visit.

The guys that work here are great. They pay great attention to detail and get the job done quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of landscaping.

Adam came out to my house to give me a bid on a drainage system and I was blown away by his knowledge and honesty. After meeting with him I will not go with anyone else for a our landscape needs. Highly recommended!!!!

I’m using a different name than my name just because I don’t like having my name on bad reviews and have a business myself, I don’t like to write one for any business. However, this business isn’t tailored for ordinary consumers I feel from the vine I got from Todd that came out for an estimate. He kept telling me you know this will cost you a lot. I appreciate your upfront honesty, however, he didn’t appear interested at all! It was like oh ok so you’re sure.. he wasn’t professional in anyway. It turns you off from wanting to use this business especially for a first time home buyer, instead of wining me as a customer and referring all of my clients, neighbors, friends. No it was like I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this business if they don’t want to feel embarrassed getting an estimate on desired work. These people need to learn how to professionally and I don’t mind being realistic about it, but communication is key. He wasn’t presenting any interest. I’m okay. I’m discouraged to use this business for any work. PLUS IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS, NO ESTIMATE, NO CONTACT AT ALL. So I wasn’t just not feeling that interest he really didn’t have any! No worries, you lost a customer that would’ve referred many customers just from my IG posts 🙃 now I’ll gladly tell everyone not to use this business.

We are Kirkwood Resp. Care Center at Big Bend and Kirkwood Rd. The gentleman that cleared our parking lot today went above and beyond for us. We needed a little path for a walk thru so we thought we would run out and clear this, when the angle showed up and jumped out of the truck grabbed his shovel and with the BEST smile says "I got this ladies". He smiled the whole time and such a friendly energy flows from him. Great Job. If only everyone in the world could be so kind in these times.

Scheduled a consultation almost a month out. It was supposed to be today with Adam. They called me an hour before my appointment and told me they wouldn't be coming and that it would be at LEAST three more weeks before they could come out. I asked if they could squeeze me in somewhere as I had already waited weeks. No to that too. I guess my business just didn't matter to them at all. Not even a reference to a friendly competitor with time for me.

These guys are incredible. My wife commented so many times on how professional, courteous, and accommodating the entire crew working on our job was. They installed over 300 feet of french drain, built dry creeks, and laid sod on our entire back yard. It was a massive project they knocked out in just a week. Couldn't be more grateful to this amazing team! Thank you!

I started using Outdoor Creative Design (OCD) 5 years ago. I’d been trying to find a company for years to help me manage the outside of my house only to get the same story over and over again. They come, walk around and talk about my needs, but I'd end up with a generic program that didn’t seem to take into account all of the nuances that make my situation a little different. And that was why I gave OCD the job.

Adam (the owner) came, walked around and answered each little question with an appreciation for the work I’ve done and also an open approach to how we can knock off projects in a multitude of ways. They were there to help in any way I needed – that is magic. Over the years they have done various size projects for me. Every time they did the job in a way I would have, meaning it was all the way done and then some, almost personal. The most personal "project" to me is my lawn.

I have an obsession with a nice looking, healthy lawn. The first summer I started using OCD, had been absolutely brutal on my lawn so I reached out to Adam for advice, perspective and help. He could have sold me on any solution because it was that dire. However, his response basically said that if he did anything to my lawn in this heat, it would make it worse. Here is a company who depends on this type of work choosing to not take advantage of my naivety and do the right thing. And the proof is in the results. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my lawn regarding how full and healthy it is. And the crazy thing is, I don't have a sprinkler system in this St. Louis heat.

Their integrity humbled me and the exceptional work solidified my long-term partnership with OCD. What I have come to know about Adam and OCD is that they will always do it the right way… not only the right treatment/plan/program, but treating people the right way. That’s seriously a big deal to me.

If you’re in the St. Louis area and trying to figure out your landscaping, I can’t recommend Justin McCoy at Outdoor Creative Design highly enough. I’m pretty convinced it would be hard to find someone who knows more about the kinds of plants that will work in this area. He designed and supervised installation of my landscaping (which couldn’t be more perfect for what I wanted—native plants as much as possible/practical, rain garden, bee and butterfly friendly, patio, and flagstone walkway) and walked through my friend’s property with us to help us have what we needed to feel really good walking into the process of buying trees—which would have been insanely intimidating for us otherwise. He’s a gem.
