To update everyone from my last review of Tennant Landscaping.
I had originally put a very poor review of Tennant Landscaping but after looking into the situation further we have found that Tennant did nothing wrong to our irrigation system and it is another problem that was looked into and found. I have sent Tennant the following email.

"Kevin & Eric,
I must completely apologize!! I am so sorry for all the headaches that I have caused!
I was working in my yard this morning and decided to look into the leak in my irrigation system to see if it could be fixed easily. I have had the system turned off to let the area dry out to be able to look for the problem. While working in my yard I turned the system back on and removed the cover from the solenoid valve box and what I found was one of the solenoid valves is leaking. I could not see this before because the valve box was full of water and thinking that it was filling up from a broken pipe. We have never had problems with our system before is why I thought it was a broken pipe causing the leak.
It is just very odd that during that day right before your crew got here we had a water main break out in our cul-ve-sac then our AT&T fiber optics line was broke and finally the leak in the irrigation system happened. All this happening within an hour of each other.
Again I am so very sorry for everything that has transpired due to my negligence of not investigating the problem further before acting on the situation the way that I have!!
I am also going to remove my google review of Tennant Landscaping.
Again I don’t know what else to say but I am very sorry!"

Miguel has done a wonderful job. The pictures show it. 14 years. It takes awhile to get there.

Disappointed to be giving Tennant a bad review. I've hired them for mowing and landscaping over the last four years and they used to be very reliable.
This year they've been difficult to reach (don't bother leaving a voicemail!) and I had to ask them to come back three times to finish an ivy removal job. The initial bill was the first indication they'd done any work at all! The main area I hired them for was untouched. Apparently they did a bit on the other side of the fence and called it good.
After the fourth (!) visit it appears the job is finally done; it still doesn't look great, so I'll be doing the rest of the cleanup myself.
Two stars instead of one because the office staff has been trying very hard to help, though a $400 bill on a job I will still have to finish myself doesn't feel great.

Several years ago we had Tennant Landscaping install pavers and steps on the lower portion of our patio. The job was done in a timely manner and when complete, the cleanup was performed very much to our satisfaction. Everything still looks great. We were so pleased we just called them to perform additional work.
Great company and great people.

I don’t use Tennant Landscape Solutions regularly because my son moved back in with us and takes care of our yard whenever he is able to fit it in his work schedule. When I do use Tennant Landscape Solutions, they do an excellent job cutting grass or whatever you need done to your yard. Two years ago, when I started using Tennant, I was surprised they even had a removal leave service if you want it. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services as needed.

They have done my neighbors yard for years, and it always looks great! I finally called and was surprised how affordable they were! Quality, professional service. Willing to work around my needs and schedule as well as Mother Nature. I started with just cutting the grass and added more services because they are just so great to work with! Highly recommend.

We've used Tennant for our lawn care for several years. Their team does a fantastic job with mowing, trimming and weeding. We're on a weekly schedule and can check the client portal for weather delays or updates. They are professional and friendly, making sure the electric gate is secure when finished. We plan to include spring clean-up, mulching and monthly weeding for our beds and turf applications this year. They're competitively priced and offer pre-pay discount option on scheduled services along with free quotes on time and material services. They offer a wide range of services from lawn care, pruning, irrigation to snow removal and gutter cleaning.

I have used Tennant lawn service for many years. Their business acumen has been outstanding. I recommend Tennant to anyone who takes pride in their lawns.

I've been using tenant landscape Solutions services for years and always appreciate the spring and fall mulching Plus yard cleanup! I'm selling my home this year and Kevin did a great job of also including shrubbery and yard clean up to make the place look great. You give them a call you won't be sorry!

Tennant began the landscape services for our HOA this month and did a great job preparing and mulching our landscape beds which had lost their edge. Good job spading them back into shape.

We use Tennant every year to clean out our gardens and yard and have them apply leaf mulch. The quality of work is truly remarkable. The workers’ attention to the slightest details thrills us every time. We could not be more appreciative of their efforts. Tennant is a phenomenal company.

It honestly makes me kind of sad to write this review because all of the reviews I have read about this company are great. I scheduled someone to come out and take down everything I wanted done. He was polite, professional and showed up on time (hence the two stars). 3 weeks later (not a month, I stand corrected) I have not received a quote. I did call back to check in with them and the lady at the front desk told me she would check with Chris and get back to me the next day…that was two weeks ago. Never called back after SHE insisted she would do so. Not a single person ever mentioned a 3 week wait time. If they would have, I would have waited three weeks!!! I’m not an impatient person. I just like communication. Imagine that?! Disappointing to say the least and considering I used to work in this industry (which means I would have understood waiting three weeks for a quote if I was told), nothing I was asking for was unreasonable. I’ve called twice to follow up since then and no one answers. So bizarre. Anyway, I decided to do the work myself. Thanks for…well, nothing.

I wouldn’t respond with false information—it’s not a good look.

Tennant Landscaping Solutions provided us with a one-stop solution to our landscaping needs. After years of benign neglect, our outside appearance was in need of serious attention. Tennant produced a comprehensive design to reimagine the landscaping of our church, prepared and fulfilled the contracts to execute the plan within the budget we established. We were so pleased with their professional approach and efficiency that we continue to have them provide ongoing service for our lawn and landscaping needs. In the words of our property committee chair "Tennant has done a great and consistent job of maintaining our property as well as adding the sustaining landscape products in a timely manner in order to keep the lawn healthy."
We would certainly recommend them.

Tennant has been great for me... both with lawn care and some landscaping improvements. Kevin is awesome for giving helpful advice, planning improvements, and for lining up work.

They also keep my lawn mowed and trimmed every week, and do a good job at a competitive price. 100% recommend.

We've had Tennant mow us for several years, and recently had them do some landscape cleanup. They're always on time, fast, and thorough, with no surprises.
This year we had them mulch our leaves--totally clean in a couple of hours. I'll never rake again!

Very fair price and extremely reliable. We used Tennant primarily for lawn mowing but they are full-service. They never missed weekly service and rescheduled around weather. They were on and off my 1-acre lawn in about 30 min. Their customer service people on the phone are kind and knowledgeable.

This is the first time we have had a service cut the grass. My husband is a very 'lawn proud' man, but can no longer manage the lawn & garden. Tennant has been fantastic - they keep our yard looking beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend this service b/c the price is respectable and service is awesome!

I had several projects with Tennant landscape. Their work turn out great everytime. I have never disappointed. The last project I had w Tennant, I was truly appreciate them very much. When we did a final check before put the house on the market, we found out we need a small work done w the garden. I appreciate Tennant landscape tried to schedule me in their fully book asap at last minute so that I can put my house on the market as planned. Excellent service and they did an awesome job. Highly reccomend!!!

Having suffered through a couple years of slip shod mowing services, I finally contacted Tennant for land mowing services. Not only are they competitive with pricing, they actually show up when they say they are going to be there. I have since hired them for other landscaping jobs and without fail, they always do an above and beyond job. As for mowing services, they make the property look so amazing with the correct cut length and very precise edging. I am so happy with their service. I will for sure be a forever customer! I was on a committee to help choose a landscaper to totally re-landscape two very large islands, plus a half moon island, in our subdivision entrance in Maryland Heights. This was a very large project. It consisted of removing 8 very large Bartlett pear trees, grinding down stumps, removing many existing shrubs and roots that had been in the ground for 40+ years, removing rock and putting in fresh dirt.

We had bids and drawings from other landscape companies. We choose Tennant Landscaping for many reasons. One, their designer, Chad, listened closely to all our concerns.. we needed plants that were deer resistant, drought tolerant, we wanted seasonal color, low maintenance plants. He was available to answer any questions we had (which we had many). He provided to us a beautiful 3d drawing of what the design would look like, which we all loved. So we choose Tennant to do this large project.

We are so pleased with the outcome. There was some miscommunication in that a trustee changed some things at the last minute without telling the rest of the committee.. but that was not Tennants fault. Even though these changes were made last-minute, Tennant changed things around from the original design so the design was still beautiful and well laid out. From the initial meeting with the designer Chad, to Kris and his crew of professional installers.. who worked so hard, to the quality of the plants that were selected.

Thank you Tennant Landscape Solutions. I can see why you have so many wonderful reviews, and we would highly recommend this company for any project.
