When our 17+ year-old furnace started making noise, Zeth, one of our regular maintenance techs, said the inducer motor was going out and would run about $850 to replace. He gave us the option of meeting with Krista, their system specialist, to determine if getting a new high performance system made more sense. No pressure; he was happy to get the motor if that's the way we wanted to go. Krista thoroughly evaluated our home and our input to determine the best system to meet our needs and was a pleasure to talk with. We decided to replace the system for greater comfort, efficiency, and peace of mind. She worked with the install team to run the new intake and exhaust piping out the back to our preferred location, which wasn't the easiest option available. Brad B, Joe, Lawson, and Kiefer were a great team: cheerful, hard workers who kept us informed, did beautiful work with attention to detail, and left the place cleaner than they found it. From beginning to end, the sense of teamwork and pride in their work and in the company was evident.

Brad N and Joe F did a fantastic job in installing a new heater!! Answered all my questions and explained all the new functions on the new furnace. Krista worked up a new heater quote with possibility of a future ac unit. Her quote was detailed and outlined every aspect of the install. Also answered many of my questions too. I currently have Home Warranty and they sent a tech (not Seliga) out to check on my furnace. I was getting heat intermittent. The tech comes out 2 weeks after the issue, says OH! You need a new furnace, its 20 yrs old, mother board is bad and blower is dirty. Home Warranty tells me I'm at fault for the unit going bad. So I give Seliga a call because I have used them in the past and they have been great. Nate comes out and he actually looks at my unit and is troubleshooting and what not. He tells me he thinks it's my thermostat which is a Nest (received from ameren) he said a lot of people in the area have has somewhat similar issues. I told him I can replace the thermostat myself. He goes on his way. My thermostat needed a small special screwdriver. Well it decided to break after Nate left. I gave Seliga a call and asked if Nate could come back as it was supposed to be in the teens that weekend. He was kind enough to come back after 4pm and finish the thermostat install. I have have heat ever since! I highly recommend Seliga and Nate! My pets and I thank you to both!

I've been using seliga for my HVAC repairs for years and they are terrific. They are always upfront about pricing and have given me fair quotes on repair and replacement options. Brad and Kiefer just replaced my water heater and did a great job. Maya in the office was also very responsive and helpful. Professional and quick service. I would recommend them to anyone.

This company participates in the St. Louis City Healthy Home Repair Program. I was luckily awarded a new HVAC system through this program. As a new homeowner, this was the first experience with a major home repair. Also, with contractors that I did not get to screen before hand or pick out based on any referral or review. Thank god Selga Heating and Cooling is who showed up to my house. Not only were their technicians, Brab B., Brad N., Braden D., and Zeth O., all very professional, they were also kind and fun. They had to adjust their installation procedure at the last minute and even got on my room to ensure that a known leak would not affect the new system once in place. Both of these examples I consider going above and beyond. My neighbors were happy to see them because of their own positive experiences and I highly recommend anyone call them for a quote on their next HVAC repair or replacement.

We've been using Seliga since 2013 when we bought our first home. We've been members of their priority club for our yearly maintenance ever since - and this year we finally had to replace our fist system (gasp). Zeth, the maintenance technician, walked us through a very detailed explanation (with pictures!) of what was going on, and made a significant purchase less painful. Brad B. and Kiefer C. came today and installed our new system - they were both professional and kind (and were nice to my dogs, bonus!). The new system looks amazing and I can tell they went above and beyond with it. We will continue to be customers of Seliga, as we've had nothing but positive experiences!

This Company came out to diagnose and repair my furnace come to find out I had wiring issues. I paid them to fix the wiring. My furnace went out within weeks when I called them to come out they wanted more money for diagnostic and refuse to repair the furnace without me paying more money and me and my family went through the whole winter with no heat.

My HVAC Technician Nick came earl than the scheduled appointment time. Nick was tremendously helpful at diagnosing the issue and gave me great advice on how to keep my HVAC running smoothly moving forward. I definitely recommend this company. I was satisfied with my services.

I had a great experience with the technician Bob. He was courteous, knowledgeable and worked quickly. He swiftly had our boiler furnace back up and running during that horrible cold. This was my second time calling SmartHouse. My first experience with Luke, he was why we called the second time. Knowledgeable professionals with great sense of humors. Would highly recommend.

The team at SmartHouse are very knowledgable. What's more, I'm extremely impressed with their customer service. Our new Water Furnace geothermal unit was faulty, and recently failed completely. SmartHouse really jumped right to getting a new unit installed under warranty, as well as providing mobile AC units for our house until the new Water Furnace was ready. Wonderful tech! Super friendly. Way over priced parts, as per the norm with HVAC companies. Need a 40W 2 pole on the condenser retails for 20-40 on Amazon. They wanted $350…. But I trusted them and this is how they make money. Happy to use them again!

The technician was professional and did a great job despite a difficult access to the condenser. All of the people I have worked with are highly competent and willing to take the time to find a good solution to problems rather than the most expedient. Locally owned small business that charges a reasonable rate unlike companies that routinely price gouge. I highly recommend SmartHouse.

It's Saturday. I'm trying to install a new smart thermostat and blew a fuse. The technician was WONDERFUL and so helpful. Great experience! They were so helpful, prompt and reasonably priced. They came out and worked on our A/C units and gave us advice for things we could do on our end as well. Would highly recommend!
