On Friday, Oct.3rd, 2025, the readout on our thermostat went almost black and a message kept blinking that the batteries needed to be changed. I had a challenge getting the case off so I called the number that was on the case. It was from Seliga Heating and Air Conditioning.

I was told that someone would be calling me up until 4pm. Well, sometime later Michael called me after his job and patiently and verbally “walked” me through the process. When I realized that all I needed to do was to pull the encasement out, straight toward me the case came out easily with a big tug. As Michael stayed on the phone with me I removed the spent batteries, and replaced them with 2 new AAA batteries. I was then able to push the encasement back into place and, voila’ ! it worked!!! I was grateful for Michael’s help and encouragement. This event did not cost me a cent!!!

We just moved into a new house a few months ago in the South Hampton neighborhood with a roughed in attic. There was no electrical up there which meant there was no heating and cooling which would be a huge issue during summer and winter months if we were to finish the floor. As a result we reached out to Seliga as they were local and had a long history of doing work in the area. We could not be more pleased that we did as it was really nice to work with John Killian and his team. He came over and walked us through our options and we ended up going with two ductless mini splits along our knee walls. With limited space in the ceiling and diagonal attic walls this made the most sense and we would have never got to that point without John and his team. Not only that, they came out and installed both units and the condenser in just two days and left no mess behind. We are really happy with the look of the new units and they did an absolutely awesome job installing them (which took some innovative work around running new electrical out to the condenser from the basement)! We personally can't wait until everything is finished and we can start using them in the summer months ahead. Also, the units are insanely quiet. If you are looking for a quick and honest team you cannot find much better than Seliga.

Dan Seliga has put together an extraordinary organization. The office staff could not be nicer. My maintenance technician, Michael P,, diagnosed the problem with my AC, offered different solutions and discussed the pros, the cons and the cost of each option. My furnace and AC were 27 years old so I got a whole new Daikin system installed and financed over 18 months at zero interest. The installation technicians, Brad B., Brad N. and Kiefer C. were experienced, knowledgeable and went out of their way to answer my questions and bring everything up to code. They cleaned up everything and the new furnace and AC look great. I am one very happy customer and recommend them highly.

Water heater developed a crack. Seliga took a look at it, immediately scheduled service and Lawson H did a great job for us replacing it on Christmas Eve!! The quick response and excellent service and work was no surprise as I have been using Seliga for 35 years.

Contacted Seliga for a Humidifier install and they were great with communication and setting up my appointment. Lawson H did the install today and was very friendly and walked me through the install and the instructions that came with it. Highly recommend.

Our house was too cool for an ailing family member and Seliga came out the same day to get the furnace on. The technician was very nice, understanding and efficient. Things were a bit chaotic in the house and he knew what had to be done and took care of it. I will definitely call them back.

I’ve posted before but after Zeth performed annual winter maintenance on our two HVAC systems, it bears repeating, after more than 30 years of Seliga servicing and installing our systems, that we couldn’t be more pleased. I learned long ago that Seliga is more than competitive on installation. Never, contrary to other contractors suggesting to install more than we need. My only complaint is that, after seeing Zeth’s hat today, and after all these years, he should have asked if I wanted one.

Very impressive! My experience started by scheduling an appointment, then I received a text message that the five star technician was on his way and with his picture. Phillip was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!!

This company was extremely professional. They let me know every step of the way what was going on and explained in a way I could understand. I shopped price and they were very reasonably priced. They were prompt with my concerns. They put in one bigger furnace instead of two furnaces which saved a lot of room in a tight space. I would recommend Seliga Heating and Cooling any time. I found out this business has been family owned for over 100 years!

Zeth, Brett, and Keifer all did a great job. They were all friendly, professional, and got the job done quickly and thoroughly. We’ve been using Seliga for years and have been very happy with their service.

Update on 2nd HVAC unit; Brad B., Lawson H. and Braden B. were back in my attic replacing our 2nd unit and did another 5 star job.

Best team ever. I couldn't be happier with the tech team and salesman. As unhappy as I was to have to purchase a new system I am very happy that I did. So professional. We've had Seliga install a water heater (excellent) and an AC compressor and air exchanger (also excellent). Today, Zeth stopped by to check on a rattle that we were hearing from our new compressor. He listened to the unit, tightened screws where necessary and placed rubber isolation pads between the metal mount and the unit. It has improved the sound. We continue to be very pleased with the service, the incredibly kind technicians (especially Zeth) who come out, and will continue our patronage of this family owned business.

What an amazing company and technician. Chris was running a late evening of calls but he kept me posted on his status all the way to my door. I have to little boys that were so amazed by him working and he was great to them. All around a great experience and I can’t wait to work with them again in the spring.

I only write reviews for companies I can recommend. Our furnace stopped working, so I gave Seliga a call. A very professional repairman was here within hours, unclogged the drain, and got our heat back on. Recommended for the repairman who found the problem, the ease of scheduling, and the quickness of the response.

Seliga Heating and Cooling has been serving my family for years (including my parents and grandparents). From scheduling to the technicians, everything has been seamless and the level of service is superb! This winter, our heat went out during a horrible snow storm, and Chris was out within an hour and fixed the issue. Today, Brett came out for a preventative maintenance and he was very kind and thorough. Our AC unit was so dirty and he cleaned it up very nicely! I wish I had a before&after, but here’s the after. Always satisfied with them, would recommend!!

We have worked with Seliga for 6 years since we had a heat pump put in. Their service is prompt and they work quickly. The service technicians have been very friendly and knowledgeable. We are so happy to work with them and plan to continue working with them in the future.

They organized an appointment quickly and were able to diagnose and do a quick fix while we waited for a part. The part arrived in less than a day and they were back to fix the furnace efficiently and with minimal change to my schedule.
