Owner , Doug, was very friendly and thoughtful of yard damage. Clean up and tree removal was very impressive and done within a days work. Would definitely recommend Doug to friends and family. Super reasonable prices best quote out of 5 different tree services. Very happy with out come!

Doug the owner came out only a few hours after first contacting him and assessed some tree damage for me and gave me a very reasonable quote/second opinion, even after explaining to him that I'd already signed to have the work done by another company, just because he wanted me to be informed. I will definitely consider working with Southfork in the future.

We used Southfork to cut two trees. Doug was very responsive and the clean up was well done. Doug was very courteous also.
Doug is going to return asap to cut one more tree. I will post a review as soon as the final tree is cut. It will include how responsive and how well the clean up went. So far, it is one week and counting.

Doug was an absolute life saver! We had a giant tree come down on our sunroom and there was another big storm headed our way. Doug quickly answered, showed up fast, and worked until the early morning to make sure the roof was cleared and tarps were down before the rain came back. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs tree services!!

I had two large tree limbs fall down during the recent storms (7/2023) and called at least 6 companies. Doug was the only one who showed up to my house the day that I called. It also didn't take him long to arrive considering how busy he was. He was professional, prompt, honest, and he gave me a fair, reasonable quote. For this job, my neighbor surprised me and took care of it. I still need my trees trimmed and will definitely be calling Doug!

Doug is a very accommodating and hard working man. I had a large Sweet Gum in a tricky spot, with a fence and power lines nearby, and it is now gone. Had multiple quotes and Southfork beat all the other prices.

Southfork Tree Services provides the highest quality work for very reasonable rates! Doug is the prime example of a dedicated worker who takes pride in his work and the satisfaction of his customers. He went above and beyond what we asked for, which was a fairly large list, to ensure not only our safety, but that of our daughter as well. With the equipment available, he was able to remove one tree and trim 4 others without a bit of damage to our home, fence or yard. He made sure to check with us that everything was done to our satisfaction and even stacked logs that I asked for to split later! If you have any work needed for your trees, you will not find someone with a better work ethic who will leave your yard safer, cleaner and more beautiful than before. I would highly recommend him to all of my friends and family.

We were referred to Doug from a family member who was very happy with his work. We hired Doug to remove a large tree (and grind stump and surface roots) after lightning struck. Doug came out an listened to our concerns and desires for the tree, and provided a very reasonable quote. We had a bit of a delay due to some equipment repair needed (a lift to reach the limbs but not damage out lawn), but Doug was quick to communicate an manage our expectations. We are very pleased with the final result and would recommend Southfork Tree to anyone looking for good work at a reasonable rate.

A tree on a hill at the side of my house was in danger of falling after the roots were exposed by severe erosion. Doug responded by carefully removing the tree without endangering my house using equipment with a lift and bucket. He was meticulous in removing all the limbs and branches and per my request, cut the trunk into fireplace-sized pieces for my use. He cleaned up and I was pleased at his extra effort to leave my property clear of all debris.

I have used Southfork Tree Services twice in the past couple years and just called them for a third job. Doug has removed 2 dead trees from my yard, ground many stumps, trimmed 2 large pin oaks and hauled off some smaller Honeysuckle brush that I cut myself. He has been very responsive and courteous every time he comes out. He takes great care not to cause any unnecessary damage to the surrounding property or landscaping. Doug did an excellent job removing four trees from my recently purchased home in South County. Two of the trees were within 10 feet of my home and were at least 40 feet tall. Doug was friendly, responsive, professional, and gave me a fair price. He cut down the four trees non-stop with care not to damage any nearby fences or structures, which was impressive to see. He is definitely a hard worker and cares about the quality of his work. I would whole-heartedly recommend Doug for any tree work!

This company did excellent work. When There was a downed tree limb that fell on my shed, I called them, and Doug came out to look at it that same day. They came out the next morning and took care of it quickly and professionally, and they helped me clean up my damaged shed. I would recommend them to anyone who has tree service needs in Saint Louis County.
