Doug did a great job with cutting down the tree in my backyard. He offered me a very reasonable price. Got the job done in one day. Also did a great job cleaning up the yard as well after cutting the tree down and removing it. I would definitely recommend him.

Doug did an amazing job taking two Bradford Pear trees and their stumps out of our front yard (9/30/24). This is the second time I’ve used him, and I was VERY pleased! I highly recommend Southfork Tree Services. Doug is a very hard worker, honest, keeps his word, and his prices are great compared with other companies. (Previous review from a few years back) I woke up a couple of weeks ago to half of my tree in our front yard on top of my car. I googled emergency tree services in St. Louis and was impressed by the Google reviews of Southfork Tree Services. I called their number and within 15 minutes got a call back and they put me on their schedule for that morning. I was really impressed with how quick they got back to me, how professional they were on the phone, and how quickly they were able to come out and help remove the tree off my car. They did an excellent job and saved my car from major damage. Cleanup was thorough and extra care was taken to protect my car from further damage. I would HIGHLY recommend Southfork for any tree work that is needed. I am definitely planning to call them for future thinning of my trees.

Called several tree services in the area and Doug was the only one to reply back to me quickly an most of all no automation, talked with him personally.
He came out, gave me a very reasonable quote, for some trimming an clean up.
He did an awsome job, very though with his work an can tell he is knowledgeable an loves trees.

Doug really helped us out. We had a massive tree from the tornado down on top of our car and he was super quick and made sure not to do any additional damage to the car or house and was very kind and helpful. He even directed us for backing out the car. Very thankful for Doug!!

We've used Doug twice now and have been extremely pleased both times. Most recently, he removed a tricky tree that had branches fallen near power lines after a storm. Doug and his crew did an outstanding job removing a tree from our yard. The work was clean, efficient, and fairly priced. As you can see from the photo, the yard was left looking like there was never a tree there to begin with no stump, no debris, just a smooth, level surface ready for the grass to fill back in come spring. Communication was great from the initial estimate through completion, and the crew showed up on time and got it done faster than I expected. If you need tree work in the St. Louis area, Doug is the guy to call. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this company. I've used them multiple times. First to take a tree out of my backyard and then again to grind an old stump. The tree was blocked in by fences and power lines. They have specialized equipment to take the tree out in pieces without having to remove any fencing. Their work was always comolete in a timely & professional manner. Pricing is much better than other companies who I quoted.

I got tree work done and I was by far impressed by there work by Austin Gower and his crew. They cleaned up everything. All were very respectful. Will call Hanneke tree service again if more tree work needs to be done.

I had a large dead tree in my yard removed by Hanneke. I was concerned because branches were starting to randomly fall. The owner was very responsive to my calls and squeezed us in as soon as possible. The team did a great job and I will definitely be referring them to family and friends.

I had called Matt to remove a small ash tree, he sent Josh and a crew member out to do the job, they did a great job, great clean up and even removed my stump and cleaned it up! Highly recommend this company!!

Most efficient tree service I have seen. They have incredible equipment. Took down a giant oak that was in my backyard while being parked in my driveway. They didn't have to drag any limbs through my garden. The crane boomed everything safely over the house directly into their chipper. Also had the best price. I definitely recommend Hanneke Tree Service.

Warning before you hire this company, please read. Very unprofessional behavior. They gave us a bid to cut back a large bush in our backyard. They never told us that they would only stick by the bid/price given if they performed the work after they ended an all-day neighbor’s project. That neighbors’s project ended hours into the evening. We reached out to schedule a date and Matt said he needed to raise our bid. Not happy, we did accept a slight increase in price. Matt said he would come out in the next 2 weeks and that never happened. They did not return our calls as we tried to line up a date. We finally reached
Matt and he told us we should just hire someone else. He went on to say that he needed to raise the price even higher...almost twice the original bid. Matt then hung up on this phone call. Not a very professional company when you change your pricing 2 times and you hang up on a customer.

I have lived in this area for 42 years and have 6 acres with lots of mature trees. An enormous oak tree died last summer and Hanneke Tree Service took it down in June 2019. The best tree service outfit I have ever used. Three young men felled the tree exactly where they predicted and had all the proper machinery in good working order to clean up everything. These boys worked non-stop until the job was done and never sat down! They are workhorses as well as nice chaps. Competitive pricing and showed up on the dot. Highly recommend this company! The best I have used and I have used quite a few!

I called Hanneke tree service about trimming/pruning needing done around my home, he was very reliable, gave great detail on what would be done, he had sent Josh and a crew member out to perform the service and they did a extremely well job I am very impressed!
