I got three bids to remove a 60’ pin oak from my yard. Hanneke came in at the cheapest BY FAR, did a GREAT job, and were quick, thorough and professional about it. They took it down, ground out the stump, and carted everything away in under six hours. I’d recommend them to anyone. Terrific company.

We received a flyer on our door from this company, mentioning they were working with a few neighbors and would be in the area for the next couple of weeks if we needed any projects completed. My husband called and discussed having a flower bed cleaned on one side of our yard. A representative came out to provide a bid.

After the initial visit, my husband realized I wanted to keep the tree that was near the side of the yard, so he asked for it to be removed from the bid. We received an updated quote, and the company rep told my husband they would be in touch to schedule the work. It’s now been almost two weeks with no follow-up and no communication.

If the job was too small for their liking, or if they decided not to take on the project for any reason, they should have just communicated that instead of leaving us hanging. Very disappointing experience that reflects poorly on their professionalism.

We were very happy with the work from Bo and his crew. They trimmed several large oaks and took down a one dead thinner tree. They were friendly and responsive and easy to work with. Cleaned up the area very well both in my yard and the neighbors.

Hanneke tree service was great. They were quick with a bid, which was very fair and reasonable- I got 4 other bids to compare to. They showed up on time, and they did excellent work. We had 7 big trees taken out. They had high tech machinery, and the guys were efficient, and careful. They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards: Overall I’d 100% recommend hanneke tree service for any tree project big or small.

Hanneke tree service did a fantastic job. They trimmed two trees, felled a large tree and ground the stump out and cleaned up in around 3 hours. Very impressed with the quality of work. Very reasonably priced as well.

Excellent service and experience. I had 4 stumps removed by Hanneke Tree Service. They worked around my schedule and were very prompt. The price was more than fair, the workers were very courteous, made sure the grinder didn't damage the lawn and left the work site spotless. I highly recommend this company. I will certainly use them again!

Bo, Frank, John, and Mikey did a spectacular job on our house! They came out on the hottest day so far this summer and didn’t complain once. They were so efficient, respectful, and hard working. You can tell all of them are great at their jobs, but they’re also passionate about trees! Bo gave us tips for a new tree we recently planted to help it thrive. Matt was splendid and a pleasure to work with - very responsive. I can’t recommend this team enough!

Matt and his team did a great job! If you end up needing a large tree taken down, Matt has the coolest robotic tree cutting machine ever! It is amazing, and provides incredible speed and safety! Matt is courteous, thoughtful, safe, and did a great job cleaning up after the tree was removed. You can’t go wrong with using Matt and his magnificent machine!

I asked Hanneke to remove two 60-foot elms that had succumbed to Dutch Elm disease. The crew of three arrived when they said they would, handled set up quickly and professionally, and were careful and expedient in taking down the trees. They used a cutter crane and mini-bobcat with on-site shredder, and a stump grinder. The job took a full day,as expected,and they cleaned up thoroughly and toted away all cuttings, trunks and branches. I've used them previously for dead wooding would heartily recommend them for removal.

Very efficient and attentive to detail. We had a large maple tree in our front yard that was dying. Probably over 40 feet tall. Matt's crew removed the tree and did a thorough clean up. Highly recommend!

Two arborists (Matt and Jonathan) to plan and implement the job start to finish. Jonathan was onsite. It was quite impressive watching them safely remove two 40 year old pin oaks from my property, one was big, the other was HUGE.

I didn’t plan to leave a five star review because in the days leading up to the scheduled day of service, communication was a bit dicey. HOWEVER, the two young men who took down my tree did an exceptional job. I had a large (and very dead) silver maple that needed removal and since it was near power lines, I was quite nervous. I was relieved to see the appropriate equipment arrive at my house and the tree was safely down in about 45 minutes. John did an excellent job of maneuvering around my tree in the bucket lift and was very safe and cautious. I appreciate that both young men were respectful of me and of my property. They even asked if my dogs needed to go out before they got started! After they took the tree down, they quickly began clean up, then began the process of grinding the stump. Before I knew it, my yard was clean, and grass seed spread in a few small areas that were slightly uprooted. To say that I am impressed is an understatement. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the other young man’s name, but kudos to him and John! This was the fourth tree I have had removed in the last five years and by far the BEST experience I have had…I wish I had known about Hanneke sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I would highly recommend MTS for their experience, professionalism, and dedication to safety with their equipment. They did exactly what was promised. That's not easy to find these days. Many thanks to Christian and the boys!

I dont usually do public reviews but Christian and the Midwest Tree Surgeons crew deserve this 5 star rating! They did an awesome job removing the dead wood from my 2 large pin oak trees. They were professional, skilled and efficient and did an amazing job cleaning up. Christian even helped rehang our family tree swing! I was very pleased with the service they provided and would highly recommend this business.
