Giving this 2 stars because the actual workers did a good job. The rest of my experience was painful to say the least. It took several months to have them do my full job (it was only a 5 day job). They'd do a bit, go away for a few weeks, come back and do a little, go away and wait several more weeks, come back etc. I had to send several emails requesting them to come back, and I felt I was totally ignored. Then they charged me more than the actual estimate, so warning to all, make sure he tells you up front of any extra work and how much it'll cost. I find he likes to upcharge. And check your invoice closely for mathematical errors. If I were to ever need someone for this kind of work in the future it would not be Spohrs.

We had water in our basement and Spohrs diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and professionally. They installed a sump pump in our basement and regraded the area around our foundation to channel the water away from the house. Problem solved. We highly recommend Spohrs Wet Basement Solutions.

I was referred to Spohrs about some drainage issues in my backyard. We spoke on the phone and they were able to give me some advice and things to check before they even came out. I was able to solve the problem based on this without having to have them come take a look. Really appreciate the help.

These guys went above and beyond on their work. they redid my driveway within a pretty short week. The end result was amazing and fixed my problem where water built up at. The workers were nice and the owner was very well versed in his field of knowledge, he told me everything I needed to know in maintaining the driveway and I couldn't of asked for more. Amazing job again, and will for sure be calling again if I need any work done.

Dave Spohr is one of the best of the many contractors we have ever worked with. His company has done two separate projects for us, one fixing a previous contractor's poor work and a second as part of an insurance claim that required replacing a drain line. Both jobs were done in an excellent manner, on time, close to the price Estimate and we've had not problems or issues with the basement since. He stands behind his work. He's an honest contractor you can trust to do the job the right way, the first time. He probably won't be the "cheapest" quote...but you get what you pay for with Spohr Wet Basement Solutions.

We had our basement flood last year with all the rain and it was a nightmare! Our basement was all finished with carpet so we had to tear all that out and throw it away. We had multiple companies come out to give us estimates and recommended indoor drain tile. This would have involved cutting out our drywall among other costly things. Dave was the only one to recommend the outdoor drain tile installation. We had friends who were having the same problems and ended up getting indoor drain tile installed. Long story short we went with Dave and our basement has stayed completely dry. Unfortunately for our friends they continue to have flooding problems after installing indoor drain tile. He really knows what he is doing and his team was always professional while working on the job. He was very responsive and explained everything to us. I’m so glad I went with my gut because I believe he saved us so much stress, time and money! I highly recommend Dave and his team for all basement problems!

In today's world, building contractors have developed a pretty bad reputation for dishonesty, shoddy work, sacrificing quality for profit, and poor communication. Spohr's is one of the RARE exceptions. I am not normally a review person but Spohr's went above and beyond so much, I had to call them out. If you have having ANY basement or foundation issues, this is the company you want to go with. Dave Spohr is extremely knowledgeable in his craft and it shows when he speaks with you. His staff are all very polite and friendly, in addition to being very hard workers. You will not regret choosing Spohr's over other highly advertised companies around Lincoln. This company has my lifetime business because of the excellent customer service and quality they demonstrated.

I had a porch restoration project come to a halt because the contractor noticed an issue with the grading. I reached out to Dave and his team, and they were able to address the problem within a couple of days. They completed the project in a single day, which allowed my restoration project to continue without significant delays. The team was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend their services for any landscaping or grading needs.

Spohrs is a fantastic local business. We had a concern of ground water in the basement but when they came out it was assessed to not be ground water but a water softener problem. The owner is a very nice man and very friendly. I highly recommend Spohrs for anyone who wants an honest company!

I really wanted to like Groundscapes and give them a great review. And don't get me wrong, they seem like really great people. HOWEVER, I called regularly over a series of months to get placed on their snow removal list - this legitimately took them 3-4 months to get name, address, email written down and listed correctly. Ok, finally we get on the list and it seems like everything should be good to go for the winter, no harm no foul. Except when the snow came they never arrived to remove the snow! Anyone in Lincoln will know it's snowed A LOT this winter and they have yet to show up to remove any of it. We've had to rely on kind neighbors to plow the steep driveway when Groundscapes should have been there to do it. I give two stars because I really can't judge them on their service seeing as how they completely ghosted us. Hopefully if you employ their services they do great work, but just be careful if you want them to clear your snowy driveways, I question if they'll ever show up :/
