I always get great service from Campbell's. I know they are a bit pricier than Mennards, but it's worth it! I've been going to Campbell's since I was a little girl ... it's a Lincoln tradition. We have enough discount big-box stores in this town. What makes Lincoln great is a place like Campbells!

Price wise is very affordable some are even a good steal. I wouldn’t say they have rare species but decent stuff to get you started.

Staffs are friendly and always ask me if I need help.

I bought some perennial flowers last spring. Two didn't make it through the winter. Campbell's on 40th street in Lincoln, Ne honored their guarantee on the perennials I purchased. That was EXCELLENT business practice.

A solid nursery for houseplants, succulents, annuals, perennials, and small shrubs/trees. Can be on the expensive side compared to department stores, but their plants are better taken care of. It's still cheaper than Earl May by a longshot and higher quality. They also have a variety of garden goods from watering cans to pots to fertilizer. Go browse their greenhouse!

The place has a very helpful crew and has a very nice selection of plants. The prices are not bad. The only thing is that they don't really have trees or shrubs (they are in the other branch).

Filled out an online form to inquire about lawncare services and cost. Never heard back. Called and spoke with an employee and never heard back! Apparently if you have to ask they just assume you can't afford them. 0 stars I'll take my money elsewhere. Thanks for nothing!

This place is the best. Friendly staff, great prices, a huge selection, and they will replace those plants die within a few days. Minimal parking but If you go on off times in the day you will have the place to yourself.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Campbell's over the years. Their plants always do better than anything I've purchased from a national chain. Probably because they have their nurseries right outside of Lincoln. I've only ever had one plant that didn't thrive, and they were happy to replace that a year later. No questions asked. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Love the selection of plants here, and from last year it seems like they've expanded their succulent section (maybe due to succulents and cacti becoming more mainstream?). I actually had a hard time picking just a few plants to go home with.

The staff is very friendly, and there were plenty working when I went in that if I had a question I could've easily found someone to ask. They have carts and baskets for your items, and when I checked out with my handful of plants I was given a convenient cardboard tray to carry them to my car.

One thing is this location has more of the colorfully glazed and painted pots and planters, whereas the other location in town has more of the plain terracotta no-nonsense pots. They have other garden and plant needs, like different types of soils (I've gotten my cactus/succulent soil here before), seeds, decorations, pretty much what you'd expect from a nursery/garden center. Campbell's will always be my first stop when I'm looking to expand my plant collection.

One of my favorite nurseries in Lincoln. They take such good care of their plants and they always look beautiful. You won't ever see a dying plant in here! Their staff is so friendly and helpful. I love loveee this place!

Great selection. Moderate prices. Im not sure what it is, though. I'll walk in with the intention of purchasing a bunch of flowers, clover, flower pots, and inevitably, I don't end up buying anything. It could be the design, I don't know. Weird vibr.

Andy Campbell came out to our property May of 2023 to design some landscape for us. I reached out in July for an update and he said that there were still 2 people ahead of me. Reached out in September and again in October and never got a return call. I emailed and called in May of 2024 and still not a return email or phone call. Must not need the business. Terrible customer service. I’ll give my business to someone who cares going forward.

We had Campbell's do our landscaping. I would never recommend their landscaping to a friend, and I wish we would have selected a different business to landscape for us. They were not very helpful with the design process - their selection of plants was limited, their input was completely subpar, and I felt overwhelmed with how much of the design I needed to come up with and research for myself. I met with the landscaper in April 2025, and they didn't finish the very simple project until the end of August 2025. They sprayed, said they would return in 1 week, but didn't return for 3-4 weeks and by then the weeds had already regrown. The project is finished - but the soil was so ruined that my plants are having difficulty thriving. I appreciate their warranty, but overall, the premium price I paid for their landscaping was not worth it.

Very disappointed the last time visiting Campbell’s nursery on Mother’s Day. This is always a stop we make on that special day as they have beautiful plants and flowers that look healthy and in great quantities. This year was very disappointing as it seemed their stock was very very low and selections thin. It’s almost as if they were getting ready to close this location. Perennials were low house plants were low and looked sick and annuals also looked low. Usually, they have lots of hanging pots in the greenhouse and we barely saw any. In years past, it’s always been so full!

Plants are fine, but good Lord, fix the parking lot at 40th! It's a danger to cars and just plain inconsiderate to customers.

Faithfully relied on this outfit for two years .
Finally had to draw the line after observing the truck hose did not reach our property line . I gave them some credit until I observed this . I had been spot spraying and wondering why I needed to be out there chasing noxious weeds . Makes sense now ,
If they can’t reach that far let the customer know . Sick of it , then bombard my wife with phone calls and emails .

Great for small yards , 1 acre no chance .

They are very efficient. A call ahead a day before they are scheduled to come out to perform the scheduled work. A work order receipt is provided in my door after the work is completed to let me know what they did. They place a flag in my yard to alert me and neighbors of caution for people and pets. if I need a follow up, they come out quickly to handle any concerns. My yard looks great because I have had them aerate it a couple times. Helps with weed control.

Horrible customer service. Tried to cancel service last fall and they automatically renewed. Tried to cancel appointment when received email that they were on their way. Service tech already arrived at house before email was sent. Service tech lied on statement that he rang the door bell. He did not ring the door bell. Customer Service will only refund half the amount not the full amount like the first customer service agent said. They lie and just take your money. Awful customer service!!!!

We hired TruGreen to fertilize and control weeds in our yard this year. Since they have been taking care of this our yard looks worse than it did before they started and we have weeds all over our yard. Also, they have a note on our account to inform us when they are coming so that we can get our dog out of the yard, this has never happened. Today took the cake, spoke with a rep for them this morning regarding the application that was to be done this morning. The rep stated that they have a note on the account to call before they come out. Never called and found that they had been there aournd 11:30, I went home from work to let our dog out at 12:30 and found that they had been there. Would never recommend they to anyone ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. After having their services almost 4 months now absolutely no change to my lawn whatsoever. All the service invoices they sent me said their workers only did 1 minute of work for which they charged me 50+ dollars. My most recent "service" was reschedule 3 times yes 3 times for no reason and when they finally came out today they walked through my front lawn with no sprays or equipment or anything for 30 seconds and then left and left me with another 50 dollar "service charge". Then I go to call customer service because their chat function on the app doesn't work, big surprise. My call is disconnected (I got hung up on) 3 times and each time I had to call back was another 20 to 30 minutes on hold before I even get to talk to anybody. When I finally get to have a conversation with somebody I tell them I'd like to cancel my service and the reason why and they didn't try to rebuttal or save my business at all they just told me I wouldn't be charged for today's service and all services going forward would be cancelled. How are these people still in business if this is how they do things?! 0/10 would never recommend to ANYBODY EVER!!
