We have used Bouwens for many years for all kinds of plumbing needs. Never a problem, always courteous, quality service, on time and professional.

They charged the Seller of our new home for work they did not do. They either hired someone who is dishonest or they encourage their employees to cut corners. Either way, it's not optimal. I was shocked to see such dishonesty in Lincoln, Nebraska where people are typically kind, courteous, and professional.

Customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. I have been trying for two and a half weeks just to get someone to return my call to arrange for some work. After repeated calls with no success I moved on.

Bouwens has been our go to Plumbing service for more than two decades. They have helped us out on multiple rental properties as well as our private residence. Thank you, Bouwens Plumbing!

June 2015, we had to replace our sewer line approximately 70 feet. Also had to replace the piping in our basement so it would connect to the kitchen sink, bathroom, backdoor sink, and laundry area. Took about 9 hours but would've been faster if the previous owners had correctly installed the sewer right in the first place. It was the worst sewer he had done in 24 years. Glad Bouwens and his crew were able to get things fixed correctly.

On the referral of a trusted friend, I have called upon Bouwens twice in the past six months, and both times, they have exceeded expectations!

Initially, I contacted Randy regarding a potential leak, and he was prompt to respond to my call, and showed up that same afternoon. Within a few minutes, he identified the issue.

Then, our water heater went out and again Randy was prompt in getting back to me, and Mickey and KB (great guys!) showed up that same afternoon and got us back up and running at what I felt was a very fair rate.

I accident I called a different company. They thoroughly messed it up I called Matt's they came out and fixed it right away I've had them for years and I've never had a problem would recommend them anytime

Our main drain got blocked up by tree roots. I called in and they scheduled me for the very next day. They were super helpful, super friendly and left everything cleaned. They explained and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend them, should you find yourself in a bad spot!

We were having minor basement flooding because of roots in a drainage pipe and Matt's Sewer and Drain cleared them without any hassle and at an affordable price. The serviceman was friendly, courteous and informative. Would use again!

I initially thought they did a good job, they got our drain cleared out. After they left I ran a load of laundry and water pumped all over the floor, they forgot to put the washer drain hose back into he drain pipe. I called to complain, they said they would follow up with the worker. No offer of compensation or anything beyond "sorry we flooded your basement." The next day our washer wouldn't run and we discovered they had also left the hot water turned off. I called to again complain and this time flat out asked for a discount. After agreeing to a 25% discount, almost wrapped up the call, I was asked "this isn't because he is black, right?" I lost my mind, my complaints were because he did a poor job and caused us us further problems. I truly have no idea why they asked me this, or how I possibly gave the impression that was an issue. I was so insulted I said I did not want to pay anything, and they threatened to call the police. They have my credit card number, I can't "steal" from them. I said I would call the Better Business Bureau, and was told to go ahead, they are not members. Wow, I can see why. In the end I said fine, charge me whatever, I'm so angry I can't even see straight and just want to be done with them. I have already called the plumber who referred me to them, and they have stated they will no longer recommend them.

Very professional and knowledgeable of their work and what to do to fix the problems. Unclogged my sewer drain of roots and they cleaned up the area all in 45 minutes. He even gave me suggestions on how to help prevent further clogging. I won't call anyone else but Matt's.

The guy that worked on our toilet issue months ago did a pretty decent job. I only have two complaints:

1) He left a disgusting mess in the basement and I consider cleaning up to be part of the job.

2) After having to call another plumber out twice to look at the toilet after it had backed up they saw that the screws had not been tightened on the one side of the toilet which is why was it was leaking downstairs.

Very thankful for the emergency service we received after 8pm on a Saturday. Worth every penny.
