Although it seemed quite quiet (Sunday afternoon in late summer), the staff was friendly and helpful! Just wished there was more yard decor and inexpensive pots. Thanks!

We have been trying to get hold of someone. Left multiple messages and none are returned. They are responsible for our lawn and sprinklers through the HOA.

Austin does fantastic work. Austin help me numerous times unfortunately he wasn't there when I picked my latest tree up and the dude working ran his forklift into my friend's truck. Accidents happen I still love this place.

Yard market planted 3 trees in my yard. The job they did was fantastic. They took their time and cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recommend their service.

If I could do less than 1 I would. They delivered dirt that was completely full of mulch. I called to complain and they refused to do anything about it. They went on about how many people buy the dirt and had the audacity to tell me I was over thinking it. We spent the last year getting mulch out of our backyard. They were rude and unprofessional about the whole thing.

Alex was awesome to deal with and kept me informed through the whole process! Great work, reasonable price, professional, excellent finished product! I highly recommend them for stamped/stained patio work!

Zero stars. Ordered 3 yds of screened top soil to be used for yard leveling and received this junk dirt thats filled with clumps, rocks, mulch and plastic that would only be useful for filling holes. When we called about receiving this shoddy substitute, they jerked us around for 2+ hours before calling back and claiming that this is what their top soil always looks like and refused to send anyone to take it back because he “couldn’t pay his workers to come and shovel it back into a truck”. When we asked if they had a bobcat to use, again he refused that he wouldn’t pay for the diesel or a bobcat to clean up this mess. He repeatedly said, “there’s nothing I can do” and would not take back the product or provide a refund. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

    I purchased the Groupon about a week ago and went in to look for plants etc;
They had a wide variety of many plants, shrubs, trees and more. However, they greatly lack customer service skills. I am not just talking about one individual. I am speaking of most of the staff there. They were horrible at being helpful by all means. When they were loading sod into my truck they were putting sod that was all torn up and in pieces until I noticed and told them something. They said " oh yeah". I would not recommend this place to any family or friends.

This is one of the worst companies for customer service I have ever experienced. After making numerous calls to have our yard repaired because of the damage they did not once have they done anything to fix the problem. That is after they told me several times they would take care of the problem in a week or two. That was back in May of this year 2018.
This is the first time I ever had to write a poor review of a company.
I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I have been working on some huge projects recently and Yard Market has provided some quality product that has been just perfect. There is such a variety of products, from river rock to flagstone to all sorts of flowers. There is an incredible diversity in plants and the prices for everything we've used has been very fair. The staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend using these guys for your next outdoor project.

Worked with Tony last year on getting some trees planted and again this summer for some landscaping and concrete. I plan on continuing to use Yard Market for anything else I may need in the future. I have been really happy with everything and Tony's a great guy to work with.

Called about 2 weeks ago to get an estimate on possible seeding and a fertilization program. I first verified if they were taking on new customers, which they assure me they are (I also live less than 2 miles from their office). They called me back the same day (on Tuesday) and said that someone could be out the next day for an estimate, but that wasn’t going to work for my schedule. I wanted to figure out a new day but the manager said he would give me a call on Monday to schedule an appointment. Monday came and went with No calls back, so I reached out on Wednesday and spoke with Ryan. He was nice on the phone but from the sounds of it, nobody had my information. He assured me that he would give it to the correct person to get an estimate scheduled. It is now Friday (after 5pm) and haven’t heard anything. As a business owner, I know that importance of follow up. I also used to refer this company to some of our clients but no longer will. They clearly don’t want any new business.

Shame on me for giving a second chance to this place. So apparently the discount I was offered at the counter was a wholesale price which according to Ryan means no warranty which was never mentioned to me until a almost 200 dollar tree died in less than 2 weeks. I purchased 2 of them and planted them same day and treated them equally and 1 is doing well and the other is dead. They offered to sell me a second tree at same discounted price now making sure to tell me no warranty. When your a potential paying customer these guys are all super nice but if you aren't happy or want to talk about problem, complaint they are condescending and rude and since this is my second experience that did not go well I'm guessing this is how they roll. I would recommend not to do business with them.

Not a fan of this company. I chose to use them for fall leaf pick-up because my neighbors also used them. It required three phone calls before they put me on their schedule. And three more phone calls to get them to come and clean up my lawn. They came two weeks in a row (later than desired), and did a decent job. The following week, they did my neighbors’ lawn and not mine. I called yard market twice to inquire why they didn’t do my lawn, but calls were not returned. Highly unprofessional and disappointing. Both my neighbors and I will be using a different. Company next year.

Alex and his crew did an awesome job on our new front stoop, steps, and backyard patio. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Yard Market. We will be using them in the future for some landscaping.

We ordered 6 yards of “screened top soil” so we can fix areas of erosion in our back yard. The dirt came with an absurd amount of mulch and ROCKS! I’m going to have to hand pick rocks out of so my lawnmower won’t fling a rock at a window. I will never recommend nor use this company again.

I’ve used yard Market for my lawn care for 25 years. My yard looks flawless. I’ve recently visited the new retail store and to say I’m impressed is an understatement! Wow! Everything looks great! They have such an awesome selection!

I rarely post negative reviews, and would not post one before giving it every benefit of doubt. I learned a $300 lesson and if that had been all, I would have let it go. But I also got an insult to go with injury. Even so, I gave the business an opportunity to get in touch, and they never did.

A year ago, I purchased 3 Azaleas for $300 from the Yard Market. Only 1 out of 3 made it. Knowing the 1-year warranty was coming up, I called the Yard Market 3-4 times over a few weeks, to inquire about availability of replacement plants. Each time, a replacement was not available. When I asked about my options, I was offered plants half the size of what I originally purchased. I had 1 surviving plant and needed to replace 2, so half the size would be a mismatch. I asked about ordering in the correct size replacement, they were to call me back (never did). When I called yet again, I was told it wasn’t an option. Eventually, Holly, the store manager, said she would issue a refund, so I could purchase a replacement elsewhere. So back to the store I trekked, dead plants and my receipt in hand, as instructed. Holly’s demeanor was confrontational, but I know anyone can have a bad day. She attempted the refund a few times, and complained about the cash register. Holly then said she wouldn’t give me a refund after all. Not only that, she then denied ever telling me she would issue a refund – accusing me of lying. It’s one thing to be unfriendly, but it’s another thing to question my integrity. The whole thing was bizarre. I don’t know why Holly attempted to issue a refund, and then claimed she never said she’d refund me. I do know that dishonesty and falsely accusing someone of lying is not ok. I was insulted, and asked for Holly’s manager’s number. Holly verbatim said “Oh no, he don’t play those games”. This was Holly’s style of communication and customer service. Holly made us and the other employees uncomfortable. I still gave the Yard Market a benefit of doubt, and gave my number for a callback. My experience with Holly the store manager was poor, but perhaps the gm/owner would want to hear from his customers. That was 10 days ago, and I haven’t heard anything, which speaks volumes.

I’m out of $300, the Yard Market has my dead plants, and I have this lesson to share:
You can buy plants at many spots in town. It matters how a business cares for its customers.

Quaint but pricey. I purchased a Groupon for The Yard Market. I enjoyed the atmosphere of a smaller nursery. However, as I walked through, no one asked if I needed help and their prices are fairly expensive compared to other 'nurseries'. I walked past the young man watering to obtain a rolling cart. He never offered to help or ask if I had any questions. (I actually passed him several times while he was watering) I loaded the 3 fairly heavy pots into my cart and made my way to the checkout area. The young man inside who checked me out, was much more helpful. He answered all my questions and loaded the pots into my vehicle.
I ended up purchasing 3 decent sized hydrangeas that were in beautiful condition.
I don't think I'll purchase another Groupon. As great of a deal as it seems ..$50 for $100 in product, I'm not sure I've saved anything with how their stock is priced.
I will say that their stock is good quality. Unlike the 'big box stores', I didn't need to sort through everything to find the plant that looks "most alive". You do get what you pay for, but they are very proud of their plants.

We had a very large project done. We had our driveway torn out, widen and extended down the side of the house, slab poured in backyard, redesigned the front porch and front yard area, added a flower bed, retaining wall, water feature, and new sprinklers and new sod. Alex was amazing to work with. He kept us informed on each step of our project, and he even did extra things for us that we originally didn't plan. We had a couple mishaps and he kept his word and took care of them too. We have gotten so many compliments on our house! We love it! I would definitely recommend Alex and his crew everytime!
