I have 35+ years experience in property management including currently owning multiple Commercial properties. McKinnis Roofing was exceptional throughout the entire project. Believe me, I have had a few unpleasant experiences in Commercial roofing. However, McKinnis roofing was a breath of fresh air to work with, Bidding process was outstanding with Bryan Adams even though my insurance company was difficult. Project Manager Dustin kept me informed with updates and pictures. Workers were pleasant to communicate with, did great work and cleaned up very well. Nicole in Billing is great to work with.

McKinnis is without a doubt a top notch roofing company in the Omaha metro area.

I recently had McKinnis replace all of the vinyl siding on my home’s exterior. I’m giving them 5 Stars here, because they were pretty terrific. First and foremost, I had 5 companies give me estimates for the cost of the job. McKinnis came in with a bid that beat the next best one by over $7,000. Based on that alone, I would recommend them, but they had some other great features too. Their office staff was responsive and helpful. The superintendent Brian, who oversaw the job, was attentive conscientious. Finally, Carlos, the foreman of the crew doing the labor, was easy to work with, polite, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right. And yeah, the finished product looks beautiful. McKinnis gave my home the curb appeal it had been missing.

Disappointing experience for a returning customer.

Worked with McKinnis a few years ago on roof replacement. Had good experience. Called them recently following the storms. At my initial call indicated, I was a returning customer. Had to follow up a couple times to get someone to come
out to my house. Person came, inspected the roof/house, indicated he will work with insurance adjuster. Gave the McKinnis employee at least 5 days heads up on when insurance adjuster will be coming. On the day of, McKinnis guy sends a replacement, that guy had no clue about the issues or any interest in the job. Tried to get McKinnis’ maintainance team to come and patch up a spot until everything is finalized, but unfortunately kept getting nowhere on that. Overall, disappointing experience…

Called to have shingles repaired/replaced just to have their crew sit in the truck for 45 minutes both days then over charged me for labor after telling me they didn’t repair shingles they found . Defeating entire purpose of service. Will not recommend.

McKinnis Inc replaced our old asbestos roof this year. They did a fantastic job and we got the new roof just in time for snow. No more ice dams and leaking through the garage. We chose Belaforte Slate to match our home and it looks terrific!

McKinnis crushed it putting in all new Siding and Windows at our home. We can't thank them for understanding our vision, making changes to the estimates when we asked and being so darned flexible in working with us! The result is astounding. From Joey, to William, to Shawn and their teams, they were professional, polite and such a great group to work with during this huge renovation. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

So glad we went with McKinnis. Leif Vopnford was our contact person and he did an unbelievable job guiding us through the process and he was instrumental in making sure our insurance adjuster noted everything that was possibly damaged by the hail storm. Leif was very attentive with his communication with us through the jobs from start to finish. I will always call on McKinnis for home repairs.

With so many roofing contractors around, I was very lucky to find McGinnis Roofing. Rick was very knowledgeable, but more importantly, extremely honest and gave great advice. They saved me thousands of dollars and I highly recommend.

Thanks to Croix and Brian for examining my bath room vent for possible leaks. We noticed a water stain on our ceiling on the second floor one year after a roof replacement. Croix quickly responded and checked out both the exterior and interior of our house. He also was discriminating in telling us what he knew and what we still needed to discover. Both men were on time, professional and articulate. They accomplished their job safely and quickly. I appreciate McKinnis being both attuned to customers and accountable for their work. Fantastic people, got three other bids and these guys blew them out of the water. Replaced all my gutters in a day , workers super friendly. They cleaned up all there trash and some of my kids as well. These are the guys to use

Crawford replaced our roof 3 years ago. They didn’t install the flashing around our dormers properly and water has damaged our plaster walls. They only have a 2-year warranty and insurance doesn’t cover poor workmanship. It’s going to be a huge hassle to repair all the walls and the new flashing cost was $1300. As an added bonus, they nailed through into our kitchen ceiling.

I can’t speak on quality of their roofing but I can attest to the integrity and care that the owners of this company have. I’ve had the privilege of working along side Raymond and Trevor this past week voluntarily helping cleanup the neighborhood of ramblewood after it was decimated by a tornado. 12 hour days with countless machines and Guys pitching in. I would hire these guys in a heartbeat, and trust them with any project they said they could complete. Stand up men.

I would give them a BIG ZERO. If I could!!! The first week of April, we signed to have roof, gutters, window wraps, screens, and deck repair. In July, after promises of every weekend, and us making numerous calls, emails, texts from because they weren't contacting us, they finally got started on roof & gutters. Then they asked if I could find someone else to finish work. WHAT? REALLY? I did. Now gutter is leaking. I've called and emailed and kept hearing, this weekend, this weekend... that's now been a month. No response from them. We paid for roof, holding money for gutters until repair are done. I feel we need a discount for all the hassle!! We recommended them to a neighbor which I regret. He can't make contact either. Very unhappy customer!

I did t expect anything less but these guys do awesome work. I am a contractor myself and I inspected the roof at every stage and they did an exceptional job. Not only is the quality of work great but protecting my very large deck, flower beds and yard was important to them. Highly recommend them.
