Tree reviews in Omaha, Nebraska

Two crews showed up at my home. A crew to trim the tree in the front, and a crew to remove the tree in the back. Everyone that I interacted with was super nice! They were all very accomodating when a section of my fence needed taken down then put back up so that my dog would not get out of the yard. I could tell these crews were pros because they made everything look so easy! I definetly recommend this business, and I will use them again in the future! Good job and thanks for being awesome!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It was the worst experience with any contractor, ever, honestly. The morning of the project, the project manager did not speak to me, the singer of the contract and spoke to the neighbor girl, a minor, for permission to do the project after a huge rainstorm the night before. Consequences of speaking to a 17 year old neighbor was that were they destroyed not just my lawn, but my neighbors' lawns, too. Huge dents from fallen limbs, track marks and torn sod...so much so that my neighbor's retaining wall was actually displaced from the soil being moved from the driven equipment.

My husband was deployed at the time and I had 3 months old twins and trying to get Mitch, the owner, to not just do right by us and repair our lawns but just to speak with me was like nailing jello to a tree. When I did get a hold of him, he yelled at me on the phone and was completely and utterly disrespectful. Expected me to just take the bad service and bad work and pay the bill. My husband ended up calling from the desert to get Mitch to be more respectful to me and understand where we were coming from. He said he'd fix it......lies.

He sent some highschool kid, who was also very rude delivering passive aggressive messages from management, as he said, out to "assess the damage" of my yard and my neighbor's. Mitch showed up with an assistant after, with a giant dip in his mouth, spitting in my yard and on the sidewalk entry to my house right in front of me, to take a look for himself. After everything, he had some guy throw grass seed down two weeks later during the hottest days of the summer, not fixing anything and then threatened me with a lien.

The absolute WORST experience with any contractor, EVER. Never received an apology about any of it. Despite all these other good reviews, if they have done it to one they'll do it or have done it to more.

Bad staff, bad service, bad work.

***Addendum: Come to find out the good reviews are from the previous owner of this company who sadly passed away and his son sold the company to the current fella, Mitch and his wife. Mitch is also under litigation, for price gouging the elderly. Nothing but bad word of mouth from people throughout the community and other tree service providers.

American Aborist was extremely professional! They provide excellent service and the crew was fantastic and super polite. Our tree had a tough location and they completely avoided our other tree and the fence it was next to! Perfect clean up, will have them back!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with American Arborist, they recently trimmed two of our trees. The estimate and scheduling process was quick and straightforward. The crew showed up on time, they went over the work to be done with me to make sure we were all on the same page, the work was done quickly and they hauled everything away. The whole team was so nice and friendly. It’s great to have an attentive, professional and locally owned tree service.

Had a tree go down in the neighborhood last week and they were out in 2 days. While they were out I had a very large part of our tree go down and they jumped on it the same week. Very impressed.

Bob and his crew are extremely responsive and go above and beyond. They have very reasonable pricing and excellent work ethic. Our family has now used Bob’s company on multiple occasions and we could not be happier with the experience.

Bob and his crew were prompt and professional, and had the work completed within a few days. We literally had half a tree lodged against the side of the house, and they carefully roped and lift it off with no further damage. I know they were busy after our last storm but did not expect such a fast and quality job, even to cleanup. Highly recommended! Wayne

We moved into a new house in the fall and decided to tear our all the existing landscaping. We attempted to try and tear out a few large shrub bushes that have been around for years and had no luck! I started googling stump removal companies and came across this company on Angie’s List and read a few reviews. I called Bob on a Thursday night and explained our situation. He showed up Friday morning and gave us his bid. Said he would be there in the afternoon, he showed up early which was great for us and was in and out in no time! They were so nice and professional. Very reasonably priced as well! We will use him for all our tree and shrub needs in the future!

Called me and came over and helped trim my tree and it looks great! Cheaper than the other places too. Cleaned up all the branches nicely.

I lost a 4 1/2’ diameter front yard ash tree that had rotted and blew over blocking driveway. By 7 am the next morning Saturday Bob Martin’s The Grind was out giving a VERY reasonable estimate. Two other companies failed to respond. By 8 am the next day Sunday Bob’s crew of 3 where out and spent the entire day with on and off rain cutting up and chipping the down portion of the tree, and cutting down the remaining 1/3 of the very big tree. They came back two more days to finish up chipping, cutting and grinding the huge stump. Six dual axle trailer loads later, I was able to backfill with dirt and sew grass. The Grind was extremely prompt, professional, hard working, affordable and left the place immaculate. Highly recommended!! Skyline Ranches area. Stan

Atrium tree service did a great job of removing a large oak tree at our location in Omaha. Their crew arrived on time, worked safely, and cleaned up after themselves. We were impressed with how carefully they handled the nearby landscaping. If you need tree removal or trimming in Omaha, I would highly recommend Atrium Tree Service.

Alex and his crew did an exceptional job. They did work on multiple different trees on our property, Including the complete removal of one tree. They are true professionals that are extremely hard-working and knowledgeable. Our experience with M&A was wonderful. From the tree trimming, to the new roof and the rest of the project was done quickly and very organized. Never a worry about the job not being done right. This company does great work. They have done several jobs for me. They show up on time, they do what they say they're going to do and they clean up after themselves. All of the workers are very friendly and courteous. I am definitely going to hire them again
