Called for pool issues. Told me 2-3 weeks out. Showed up 2 days later, I wasn’t ready for them, charged me 100 bucks for the call. Don’t recommend

Be careful!!! The office staff is good and the cleaning was done pretty well with the exception of having to ask for an extra visit since the pool was not cleaned completely. The reasons I say be careful is the add on fees that accumulate very quickly with no heads up. What I thought would about $1000 of work is now $2000.

Closed pool. The two man crew did a fantastic job. Very pleasant to talk with. I wish that you would have sent a light with them because as it turn out the light needs to be replaced. Would saved a second trip and another trip charge.

They did not completely de-winterize our pool on opening, and when questioned, they said it was the correct way, not! They left a cracked deep end skimmer fitting, loaded the deep end skimmer with stabilizer, and clogged it. When asked about this, “they said we didn’t have any shock, so they used that”, there was a whole box in the pool house, so they lied. They over tightened the cover anchors and stripped them. Upon noticing, we called them, their response “the earth moves, and we’re happy to come out for an hourly charge”. They will not be allowed back. Their customer service is lacking and the pool techs obviously need additional training.

Platinum Pools has cared for our pool needs for a few years, and they have always done a great job! Great and attentive office staff that has provided wonderful support, and their crew has helped us with many maintenance and repair needs to help our pool keep looking and running smoothly.

I’m leaving this review to document my experience with Platinum Pool Service. Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing. Despite multiple visits, the pool and spa were never properly repaired — the thermostat was not fixed, the pH levels were not balanced, and the system ultimately failed inspection. We have the inspector’s report confirming these issues.

Communication with the office was one of the biggest challenges. Rebecca, in particular, was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional during multiple phone calls. Instead of helping resolve the issues, she often spoke in a condescending tone and made the process even more difficult. Several of the technicians privately mentioned they have had similar issues dealing with her, which only reinforced our experience.

Attempts to reach the owner went unanswered, and calls to Jonathan, one of the technicians, were not returned. Because the spa still wasn’t working after repeated visits, I paid Jonathan $50 in cash just to get it operational — yet the problems continued.

Nothing was fully resolved, and we were left with a failed inspection and an unusable pool and spa.

We will be submitting all documentation to the BBB, including the inspection report and communication records. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Family owned and operated business. Great people and go out of their way to provide excellent service. They’ve done work for me twice now, and I’ll continue to go with them in the future.

I approved their proposal on 8-27-24. Called and e-mailed several times for the next 4 weeks. They would never return the calls or come do the work.

Really good experience. Had new gutters installed. Did a great job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
