Groundscapes team did a great job with our retaining walls. They communicated very well, showed up when they said they were going to, and when they finished and cleaned up from the job you could not tell that they'd been there. Highly recommend.

I had a tree removed from our yard and wanted something in the place and decided on a berm. Also had some previous landscaping that needed updated. worked with Austin on finding the right design and best options for plants. I don't have good luck keeping plants alive and he helped pick out ones that could survive my skills. Couldn't be happier with the results.

This company does snow removal for company I work for. Terrible!! Left 3ft high wall behind cars, which made it impossible for me to pull into empty stalls and for others to get out. Also left a 4ft high pile of snow in alley, which made it impossible for everyone ie customers, staff, property owners that utilize alley to get to their property, etc. The plow truck operator came back by several hours later to spread salt and I pointed to the 3ft wall behind cars and he just shrugged and continued to leave property.

I had the pleasure of working with Jack Larchick for my landscaping plans. He is knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and listens to details. His crew did an amazing job with the landscaping project. Would highly recommend Groundscapes!!

Their work was outstanding and their professionalism was even better. Was truly happy with everything they did for our project. Looking back? I wish we would’ve found them sooner to just do the entire project for us! Highly recommend them, and will certainly be asking them to do more in the future for us!

Sharing Our Experience with Groundscapes After the Tornado:

Unfortunately, dealing with the aftermath of the tornado has been challenging in many ways. While it’s brought out the best in some, it’s also exposed the worst in others. I feel it’s only right to share our experience.

For us, the most stressful part hasn’t only been the tornado damage itself, but our dealings with Groundscapes. Many of you know they built a dock for us last year. When the tornado struck, it not only caused significant damage to our home, but also compromised our dock to the point where it needed to be rebuilt.

We reached out to Groundscapes for a quote to rebuild, but were shocked when they inflated the cost by over six figures, clearly taking advantage of the fact that insurance would be covering it. At the time, we believed they were the only company with the equipment needed, so my husband reluctantly gave them a large deposit to secure the job.

When I suggested our contractor, who was already on-site, could handle the demo, Groundscapes refused. They said if they didn’t get the entire job, they wouldn’t do any of it. This forced us to seek out alternatives and, thankfully, we found another company being used by others in the area.

We requested our deposit back, but Groundscapes claimed they had already used it to pay for a new dock frame. They presented an invoice for nearly double our deposit, saying we couldn’t get the frame since they weren’t doing the work, but we also owed them the full amount.

Unfortunately it got worse: after involving our lawyer, we discovered the dock frame hadn’t been ordered at all, and no deposit had been paid to the manufacturer. The invoice they gave us was fake —a clear attempt to receive nearly $100,000 for something that didn’t exist.

Despite months of legal efforts, Groundscapes has refused to return any of our deposit. When confronted about the false invoice, they have not denied it, but still won’t refund our money.

As if going through a natural disaster isn’t bad enough, having your belongings disappear or be stolen right from in front of your house, to now be taken advantage of by a local company, a neighbor, has been an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience. I feel an obligation to let others know about this.

We have been very disappointed in the lack of integrity shown by Groundscapes.

I had an excellent experience using Groundscapes for a major back yard patio project. I especially appreciated the collaboration during the design process, as they went back to the drawing board after I committed to give me something that ended up exceeding my expectations.

As a fellow contractor, I am keenly aware of supply chain issues and how large their backlog was…but once they were able to start my project they worked fast and effectively. I had weekly meetings where I was able to voice any concerns and make any tweaks or value adds on the fly, and those little touches really ended up making a huge difference. I gave them a curveball by having them install a hot tub from a third party and they handled that well. Their on site crew was super professional and great to work with. They came up with some creative solutions to problems as they arose.

As far as the design, their team dramatically improved the look and feel of my backyard. It is unrecognizable.

To be balanced, the only concern I had was we had some cost overruns beyond my original budget, but I am pretty sure my tastes are to blame for most of that.

I don’t think they are the cheapest solution out there, but I would recommend them to anybody.

We came to the Grand Opening and had the best time! We needed some chairs and weren’t really sure what we wanted. Melissa helped us decide what would look best for in our budget and now we can enjoy our front patio area in style! We will be back to continue adding to our outdoor living areas! Melissa was awesome to work with and everyone was so kind!

Cody and team did an amazing job transforming our back yard into a beach oasis. We had retaining walls that were failing and a deck that was in need of replacement. We added the pool and in 6 weeks we’re floating this fall. When he asked what kind of liner color I wanted my only request was Caribbean water color to sand beach. They made our dreams come true. Great communication and timely done. Great group to work with for backyard transformation. Thank you. We love it. Going to be a great area to make family memories.

The team at Groundscapes just finished our project and we could not be happier. We worked with Jack Larchick to design and build a new patio space and fire pit in our backyard and a new front stoop and walkway leading to our front door. Jack and the team took the time to understand what we were hoping for out of the spaces and took special care to make sure that our expectations were exceeded.

Jack was available to answer any questions we had along the way and kept us up to date on progress that was being made, as well as any challenges the crew encountered. As we made changes to landscaping or we added something new to the project, Jack and the team were quick to respond and provide us updated plans for our review and approval.

The crew was incredibly professional and courteous to us and our neighbors during the construction. They kept everything as tidy as possible, spending time at the end of each day cleaning up.

The quality of work is second to none. This is our second project with Groundscapes and you can tell that what they are building is meant to last. Absolutely no corners are cut.

We have recommended Groundscapes in the past and after the completion of this project, we will continue to recommend them with enthusiasm!

We had an amazing experience with groundscapes! We did a large backyard project, which included a large retaining wall, pool, firepit and landscaping. Groundscapes was able to do it all, and referred us to another amazing business (Rustic Craftsman) for the one thing they didn't do- the pool house. We worked with Cody through the whole process, and he was always responsive and actively worked to find the answers to our questions as needed. Anyone looking to do a pool should absolutely use this company, they are one of the few that do it all and do it best!

We had a great experience with our Groundscapes team for a backyard project completed in December 2024. Cory had excellent communication and graphic design skills and Ryan ensured any issues which arose were addressed in a timely manner even after hours and on weekends. They were very flexible and accommodated changes made beyond the planning phase. We paid for the project with three different installments and think the cost was worth it for a thorough and professional quality job. Their team discovered a flaw in our original patio that we chose to address with this upgrade to save future costs in repairs and this ended up increasing the value of our renovation even more.

The generous thank you gift from Omaha steaks and grill supplies were a welcomed bonus to their great customer service! We definitely recommend them for any comprehensive hard or landscape projects no matter the size!

Ryan, Jeff and the execution team provided consistent communication via text and ensured steady progress on our project. Even when we encountered some unexpected challenges, they provided solutions and kept things moving forward. Professionalism was off the charts from top to bottom, including the employees and contractors who were on site daily. Groundscapes did an amazing transformation of our landscaping! We are very pleased with the communication and work that was done by the team. Cody was great to work with on the design and him and Ryan were both open to all of our ideas. Micah and his crew worked their butts off in 90 degree + heat for 2 days to give us what we wanted!
