Worst place to shop at for supplies never have material in stocks and you call in an order for wire thinking it would ready when you get there no they just start cutting it when you get there. Told me it would be ready in an hour and still had to wait 35 minutes for the cut. Can't believe this place stays in business terrible customer service

Great supply store. Keep in mind, CES is a supplier for professional installers. They always help me when I run into a situation. Most of the reps have a lot of experience.

Rediclous no returns, exchanges or refunds policy, so better be sure when you buy. Also the treat you different if your small time guy spending $300 vs a regular. Example, I needed some 12/3 wire and asked if the could cut it they say no. Then just after some regular calls on the phone and asking for the exact same thing and the say, ya sure we can cut it. Prices and quality didn't seem to be much different then Home Depot.
If you are spending thousands on a regular basis, you'll be treated very well, if you looking to buy a few hundred in supplies go to home Depot they can help you better and you can do returns/ exchanges.

I've gone here FOUR times, and ALL FOUR TIMES they didn't have what I needed, and what I needed was very standard supplies. Once, the customer service was great... The rep was cheerful and helpful in telling me he would go look for the supplies, even though he came back to tell me they didn't have it.... but the other three times, they acted like it was a huge burden to help me.
Maybe these guys are just tool suppliers, I don't know. What I do know is that they don't have even the most standard and commonly used electrical parts and supplies.

I have the opportunity to do business with this store a 2 occasiones, and the customer service is excellent!! If I they don't have the part on stock they gave some ideas. BUT this is when I go to the store is a complete history if I called them.
Customers service by phone need to be improve , a depressed person answer the call with a cold hello. No enthusiasm ,no happy doing what the person loves , is bad for business!!! For god sakes.
What happened with the old " Good morning thank you for calling city electric supply, how I can help you " sound different!!!

They always have what we need when we need it, they are knowledgeable when it comes to anything I ask. We appreciate the time they dedicate to us especially in time crunches sometimes. Poor customer service. Reviews are very accurate. Tool warranty took several months. Every time I asked about it, they came up with a new story and blamed the manufacturer. Met with the sales rep for the manufacturer by accident and he was completely unaware of a warranty claim. They never even tried to process it. If this place didn't want to do the warranty, they should've just said no.

Building a house as an owner-builder, and very happy with Kevin and the whole staff there.
