I would give them zero stars. I gave them a credit card number and 6 months worth of prepaid business. I never received even a phone call from this office to schedule a visit to my home. I have called their call center 3 times and the team says they will get a supervisor to follow up. Silence is all I received.

The services were paid for a year in advanced, and they took it advantage of that. They said they showed up and performed a service as I received a text stating it was done, I was outside waiting for them and they never showed up. They are very deceiving and will try to get your money without performing the service.

This is a follow up - as you can see the owner of TruGreen said that he wanted my information to set things straight. Let me set things straight about this company, stay far far far away from them. They will take your money and run. Even though the manager did call me he said he would show up at my residence and then the morning of never did show up until I texted him and he had some lame excuse. He said he was gonna show up another day, which was today and he never showed up, I had texted him and made a phone call and he never answered either one. This is such a lame company.

They came by 4 times over a period of 6 months to treat my cypress trees with a solution that was supposed to remove the spider webs and revitalize them. Maybe they’ve been spraying my trees with tap water because after 6 months of treatment nothing they have done has worked in any kind of way. The problem with my trees just continued to get worse month after month. My cypress trees are now filled with spider webs and are turning brown and dying. I’ve reached out to TruGreen several times about this. They keep telling me their area supervisor Jeff is going to reach out to me. It’s been 2 months and Jeff hasn’t reached out to me. This is just bad service and a bad experience. Once they take your money that’s when the nightmare starts. I wouldn’t recommend this nightmare company to anyone!

They only take care of WEEDS thank goodness I had my daughter ask questions about their services. We thought it was to take care of yard maintenance, trimming, blowing and weed treatment. Make sure everything is explained to you and get things in writing ✍️ I’ve done my own gardening work in my own yard and pulling weeds doesn’t drop seeds as my yard hardly has any weeds, people be ware what your getting yourself hooked.. RUN AWAY

Tru Green has sprayed my property at least twice and maybe three times now and I DON'T HAVE THEIR SERVICE. I have a young son and a senior dog with a compromised immune system and I don't want the chemicals. When I called, they were unapologetic and promised to have a manager call me. Still waiting.... I'm all for cutting people slack, but at some point you have to strike out. Very unprofessional....

They’ve said they were to our house supposedly three different times. We have been home every time. The first time, they called the guy back to do the job, we know he did not do it, we were at the house, he said he had knocked on our door. He had not. He got all huffy with my husband. And left.
They have called him to come back each time, it says they had been here, I was standing outside at one point. There’s no way they can spray my front and back half acre yard in one minute. And then they were gone. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again. They used to be a good service, now they just take your money and don’t do their job.

I want Charles back again. Charles is a good guy. I would like for him to service my loan all the time. Thank you.

I used this service in year's past, but I discontinued because of no shows. They would schedule and not show or come on a day they were not scheduled to be here. Since I needed to have my yard aerated, I called them again just two weeks ago, thinking I would give them another chance. They were suppose to be here today between 10am and 1pm. Surprise, surprise, no show!!!!! This is a national call center, can't get a hold of anybody locally. The people that work for them are oblivious to what is going on. In fact the whole company appears to be this way. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! They tell me there is nothing showing that I have an appointment today. I fail to understand how this company stays afloat. I advise people to stay away, do not use them!!!!!!! They should be run out of business!!!!!!

I am thrilled with true green! Their drivers are efficient and do an excellent job. They are also very well organized and notify you when they will arrive and do not disappoint!
I just recommended them to my sister!

Terrible service. I was willing to return for my new property which is desert landscape. I called the 800 # and completely got the run around. My sister used them a week ago and the technician was there 5mins and it looks like nothing was done. Do yourself a favor and use another company.

The workmen came, rang my doorbell to let me know they were here and they quickly did their job. The weed killer worked but a few weeks later a few random weeds grew. I contacted TruGreen and they resprayed our yards for free! I recommend them!

Charles H was very Pleasant and professional, I shared with him, my concerns and he addressed every single one of them and did a great job.

Chuck H is number one in my book he is professional, knowledgeable in his work and customer service, he goes above and beyond. Always pleasant when he services the lawn, trees and shrubs. If I have any concerns he notes it and takes care of the issues.

Very friendly. The guy did a great job with his service today. Sprayed plants in the backyard for disease and bugs.

I had a pre-emergent and post-emergent service scheduled. I spoke with a local rep to set it up, very helpful and informative. After that, all calls were to a call center and were next to useless with conflicting information. The person that sprayed said that if there were any missed weeds to call back. I did and was informed that that was only with an upgraded program. I will never use this company again. Weed spraying is not hard - but these people are making an easy service very difficult. I'd highly suggest finding someone local that may be twice the price, but at least will do the job and answer a phone call.

I would really like to leave a zero star rating. This company certainly would qualify for it. If you start service with them, they do not come out to see the property they just look on Google Maps. In my case their estimate of the square footage treatment area was more than twice what it actually is. The Google Map photo was never accurate as it included areas of all rock and the common area that's behind my backyard wall. Just amazing. I asked them to come out to correct their estimate and they did. That lowered my treatment cost going forward but they wouldn't issue a credit to my account for overcharging me twice. After a long discussion they did give me a discount for future treatments but it doesn't equal the overcharged amount. They spend exactly 4 minutes at my house spraying 4,000 ft2 which they say is all the time they need. Ok I'll give them that one. I ordered aeration on August 29 and have checked my online account regularly and called them several times to find out when it would take place. Two days ago their national office who called with a satisfaction survey told me it would be this Friday. When I didn't receive an email or text about it I called them. I was very even tempered and not combative when they told me it was not scheduled and they had no room to put it on schedule for any day. While I was explaining how long I had requested the service the customer service person hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. After ten minutes of explaining the situation to another person who couldn't help me I was told a manager from the local branch would call me within 24-48 hours. We'll see.
I plan to get the aerating done assuming I can get it scheduled and use whatever credits I have for my pre-payment (I'll never do that again) and terminate their service. You'd be better off paving over your lawn and shrubs than getting involved with this company.

Update:
After posting this review I heard from the franchise owner asking for my name and customer number which I then provided. On the following business day I heard from Customer Service that my lawn aeration was scheduled for the next day. The tech who came out, Saul R., was excellent; I am very happy with the job he did. The business was very responsive to my review.

Last year and recently been a lot of rain, weeds sprouted everywhere. I used to hand pick them. But it was so many that sprouted due to the rain in 2023 and recent that I called TruGreen. Never had a service for my yard before so I was skeptical. Their service cleared all the weeds and when some of the weeds were more stubborn and didn't go away, they came back out to spray again. And I do the fertilization for my trees. If you like to save yourself some time, this service is for you. If you like to do everything yourself do it yourself. But my yard is huge, so this is a service I need and is worth it to me. Just my opinion. Plus I prepay to get a discount. I reached out to them and they were helpful. Been almost a year and I still have the service.

Took the service last year, in August. The first service call was great. 9 months later I can safely say I never had that same experience. They no showed on me 3 times. They say they will notify you in they cancel. They also say they will let you know when they are on the way. I experienced that the first and also on the last time I used their service 9 months later. I complained about the lack of communication and no show. I was promised by the local manager he would call me the day before my scheduled service date. He never called. He forgot to schedule my service as well. After 9 months the lawn looked worse than when I signed up with them. I asked the tech on this last visit why does it look so bad. One reason was they had no showed 2 of the past 4 months. He believed that they did not put down enough fertilizer the last time they were out. On that visit , I received a notice ha had arrived and when he left. The difference was 3 minutes. I can see why he didn’t apply enough, he hardly stayed long enough to do anything to 1000 sq feet of grass. Their customer service was good. If it had not been for them I would have canceled 6 months before I did.

Our tech, Charles, was super nice and efficient at today’s fertilization. This is our first visit from TruGreen through this process of bringing our yard to its full potential. Eddie was the sales rep who guided us through this process and helped us understand TruGreen’s process and what to expect. Excited to see our grass grow!
