I will not recommend this company ideal services electric A/C Plumbing to my worse enemy If you hear the name Josh run the other way he’s very disrespectful he claim he cut off the waterline Actually, he cut on the waterline even more so I would have to use their services He had no regrets of his error I called the company to inquire about the matter and no one care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY RUN!

Called ideal plumbing because we had a backup and home warranty was 5 days out we are not new to having plumbing issues since we do have an older house they guy said there’s a huge issue he did hydro the pipes 1250.00 later after he even said he don’t do it often he told us a part of our pipe went down the drain. Again not new to the process had them done last year pipe completely fine. New company out today more high tech equipment were here for 2 hours checking pipes no broken pipes just scaling as expected with cast iron pipes. Last years hydro cost me 200.00 he said he did bad job in my opinion ideal plumbing is a joke and completely over priced if he would have done the hydro cleaning correctly I should not have had to have another company out only 7 days later.. again was told main drain line was in half and lost a section of pipe was confirmed that is not true horrible service

Ideal update
So this is not my original post. I was contacted after my review and told that putting my floor back after doing a plumbing issue was not part of the deal. Now why would you schedule to begin work the next morning if you did not have that plan in place? There was no mention of this. He only mentioned that they did not do drywall. Anyway after I posted my original bad review I was told that I had two choices. Find my own subcontractor to fix the floor at my expense or they would send someone out free of charge IF I took my review down. The gentleman I spoke with recommended against the second choice. Why? Maybe it came out of his commission? Or maybe he knew they would not do a good job. Well of course I decided to have them come out and fix my floor because I had spent so much money already. I know that he was recording me (glad he did) probably to make sure I held up my end of the deal. Now not only did I have to take my review down I was asked to put up a five star review. No explanation was needed. So I did. Come to find out that’s against the law! I should’ve looked that one up. Being ex law enforcement my gut was already telling me he was in the wrong. So finally they sent someone out a few days later. Needless to say they screwed this one up too. They sent a guy who did not grind the floor down correctly and screwed up all the extra flooring I had. He did not finish and just left. It was the worst flooring job I had ever seen. He even had the nerve to tell me he did this on the side. Since then I have not heard from anyone at Ideal to check up on the work done. Still never received a contract or detailed receipt of any sort. This was the worst experience ever. To even think I was considering to have them change out my AC. I will never recommend Ideal to anyone. I had to buy more flooring and hire someone else to fix the bigger mess they created. For your AC use One Hour heating and cooling instead. They are amazing! Quoted and changed out my unit all on a Sunday within a few hours. They had to remove roofing to do this but did they tell me I had to figure out how to replace it myself and find a subcontractor ? No they did everything. As for plumbing use anyone but these guys. Their communication is horrible, bad business practices and very untrustworthy. This plumbing job began May 9 and I finally have it fixed over a month later by someone else I found who is amazing. You definitely get what you pay for. In my case I ended up doubling what I thought I would pay. Should’ve went with the other company.

They charge $89 to come out and give an estimate for what it is you need done.
If you use them, they deduct the $89 from the price. If you don't use them, you're out the $89! I have a simple LED ceiling fan to install where another fan was so it's all wired. that The girl on the phone couldn't ask anybody how much it would cost to install a ceiling unless I paid $89 so basically they're approx. $100 more than everyone else unless you use their services. That's a misleading five-star rating.

I am very dissatisfied in the toilet repair. I was quoted 1059.00 to fix a toilet leak. This according to your plumber would require rebuilding the parts in the tank and removing the toilet, replacing the wax ring and resetting the toilet. He then went on to tell me the water valve should be replaced. He replaced the parts in the tank and wax ring and then explained he was having difficulty removing the water valve and would need to cut it off to replace it. After he cut the pipe he tells me he will now need to cut a hole in the drywall because the pipe is now too short to connect a new valve. After he cuts out the drywall and connects the new valve he informs me the toilet is still leaking from under the tank. This is where we told him we believed the leak was in the very beginning😡. He goes on to tell at almost 8:30 pm that he will have to return tomorrow to tighten the tank down and he doesn’t have the to do so with him. When I asked about the hole in the wall he explained that he doesn’t do those repairs but he could get that fixed for another $450.00 dollars. This is the most unprofessional encounter I’ve ever had with a home service provider. It literally took him a day and a half to do what he did. I told him when he was leaving yesterday that it very important that he be here by 8:00 am to complete this job. He arrived at 9:30 am. He tracked foot prints everywhere. Including inside the shower. Left residue all over the floor and on the toilet. I now have toilet that doesn’t leak but I don’t think this repair with the valve just hanging out of a hole in the wall is up to code and will likely leak at some point not to mention the eye sore it creates.

Worst Experience with a contractor in my 50+ years of home ownership, horrible sloppy,caused water leaks I didn’t have before they stripped my home of copper the crew of 2 sell it, Josh does not supervise the crew, late arrivals,long lunches,damaged my car,my water softener and warranty is a joke because under no circumstances would I let anyone from this company in my home. Additional costs drywall stucco paint interior and replacement of Moen valves add another 4-6 thousand dollars to my whole home repipe. I’ve lost all hope of humanity from the experience. I hope by this review I’ve saved someone, Josh the “master plumber “ is a bad joke.

Had a clog in kitchen sink. Had Kyle arrive within a few hours. Great, friendly and patient. Issue resolved very satisfactorily.

After paying almost 1500$ to snake, pressure wash and video, I was told I needed to spend another almost $10,000 to have a sleeve put in the pipe. That would save me from later having to replace the pipe that would cost more than $20,000 because they would have to pull permits. Have inspections, dig up the street, close the street and repair asphalt.
On further inspection, none of that was necessary. I did agree to the first cost., But I am now taking classes in growing a backbone and recognizing scams. Would not recommend.

Yikes. Never going to recommend to anyone I care about.
This company had us fooled that they were doing the best job they could with the fancy liner in out main sewer pipe. This job took weeks maybe a month, no water most days, going to stores to use the restroom, hotel stays out of our pocket with a newborn and while our family was sick. One issue turned into more, and more.
They left trash in our yard everyday (water bottles ect) then later more, bottles, pizza boxes, and wrappers so I complained after that. The teams who came to dig and the teams who did the job had no communication with each other or us. It was always 1 person working and 5 watching. Only two people took the time to keep us updated on what was happening, sometimes. Not worth the money we owe now for this "job" our yard/garden bed is uneven, the bathroom has the floor broken and the company said that was not on them since it was not in our estimate. Horrible experience. Only thing they did right was get the water to go down the drains but that's thanks to 1 big guy and only him for pushing to fix our issue asap after a few weeks of being pushed around and the company telling us they couldn't come out that day(while we still had no running water, since it has no where to go!) Because they had an "emergency" somewhere else.
We were beyond patient with this company and team. Thank you to the fella who came to push the team to just get it done.
Now we can spend more for floor repairs because I don't even know what to do with that floor.
I should have listened to one woman's warning on her review. About 38k for all of this.
It took me months to review because I was so damn angry, I guess I still am.

Edit: I forgot to add someone took my tool from my yard to turn off and on my water line. People in the office just said they are sorry that's all.
