If you are looking for someone that really cares about his job and your pool.. someone honest that won’t sell unnecessary stuff, someone that goes straight to the point about what’s going on with your pool... advice you like no other company will do... then you are at the right place, not kidding, I had algae issues with my pool I had 2 companies coming and telling me what “I need it to do” guess what they were all wrong.. finally I decided to randomly call Excellent pool... 30 min later after I talked to Jorge he was at my house, he advised me on what I need it to do in order to kill the algae... I did it and guess what....????? NO MORE ALGAE OR DUST OR GREEN LOOKING POOL.... I’m very happy and grateful I crossed path with Jorge... plus!!! He is bilingual... English and Spanish... I called with my inground pool problem and the owner (Jorge) made a proper assessment of the problem over the phone. He came that day to look, confirmed his thought and was out the next day to fix it and also replaced the pump that I was shopping around for. Work was great and his labor costs reasonable. OMG. !!!! The service blew me away. Owning my own business in NY I know how important customer service is. Jorge responded and took care of a major issue with our pumpi/filtration system all in one day( which was not Easy plumbing!) Not only,does Excellent Pool Service have great weekly maintenance service , they can handle repairs with knowledge and a mission to help customers to the very best of there abilities.
I was impressed!!!

Pros: unlike other pool services, they were able to come and clean the pool the next day. Did a really good job w/pool that had some algea. Gave tips on how to clean pool ourselves. Charged reasonable price.
Cons: cleaning of filters was not included. Pump timer stopped working after initial visit. Brought it up to George's attention, did not want to take reponsibility for it. Now we gotta spend even more money. Something started leaking from part of the pump which I never noticed it leaking before, had to pay extra for that as well. Everytime I called he asked me if I was a regular customer of his - no. I got the impression, if you're not a regular paying customer they'll overtighten something and would get their money somehow.

I didn't know who to call for a pool leak. Read a few reviews and decided on Excellent Pool Services. Glad I did. They answered the phone, came out the following morning, and fixed the problem quickly. I trust them.

After dealing with other companies and getting the run around for 2 weeks and getting no where... in triple digit Temps. with no pool pump. I called these guys and they were at my house in a few hours and had the pump replaced in less than 2 hours!!! Awesome service and professional techs. Excellent Pool Services is my go to from now on!!

I never leave reviews but this guys deserve to be known for their work.
They came less than an hour after I called ( they actually waited for me to arrive)
They got the job done immediately. I had a heater that only needed to be reset, and they did that. Didn't try to pretend there was something else to charge more.
Fixed my leaking tank when another company tried to charge me to replace the whole thing. Fixed my light switch as well. And looked at other concerns.
Super professional. Highly recommend

Revised- price increase was over a year. However I took off a star because George has texted me 5 times in the last 5 minutes calling me a liar. Kind of scary to me.

Disappointed to have to change my review but our service steadily declined after we didn’t use them to replace our pool pump. George insisted that no fix was possible and it had to be replaced at over $2000. We had another company repair the pump for $350 and it has worked fine. We wanted to replace our filters-George wanted over $500, another company did it for $325. In the meantime, debris that we could not reach was left in our pool, and algae patches started to form. In spite of of my specific requests, these items were not addressed. George said that the algae was due to our filters being old…even though they were actually brand new. Finally, they have raised their prices twice in the last 5 months resulting in a 25% increase.

Jorge is AWESOME! He responds quickly and answers questions fully. He Was a pleasure to work with. He respects your time and he can handle various pool issues. He did a great job troubleshooting things for us and now handles our weekly maintenance. We were referred by our daughter and son in law who also utilize their pool service. We highly recommend Jorge and his crew.

I hired Jorge (Excellent Pool Services) to replace a pool and spa light. As well I had him correct wiring and a switch that were gerry-rigged by someone who had done prior work. Not only did he fit the work in on a holiday weekend, he took the necessary time to do a challenging job correctly. Having dealt with other trades people, it was a relief that he kept kept to his quoted price, even when the job proved to be more challenging than anticipated. Honest quality work !
