James did a wonderful and thorough maintenace and checkup for both my refrigerators. Great communication for arrival and very knowledgeable.

Rikki was great! Very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I appreciate the 'home service' option and experience.

For insurance purposes I need a receipt. The phone tree doesn't have an option to talk to a person. If you navigate to talk to a sales person, they immediately just return you to the tree that has no option for billing or talking to an administrative person.

Do tee went above and beyond to fix my fridge. He was great at explaining what he did to it. His customer service was excellent! I will request him personally if I have any other problems!,

Price gouging. I had the part here. He didn't have to diagnose anything. Just asked to replace the hose, reconnect under the sink, push it in, reattach it back with two screws to counter. And put kick plate back on. The price was horrendous. Found someone else for half the price.sears is ripping me off for $139.00 visit. He didn't have to do anything. I'll never call sears again for repairs. And I will not refer family and friends to Sears. Shame. They deserve no star.

When I called to schedule, I asked and Catlin put me on hold and came back and said yes that I did not need to be home, that the technician could enter using the lockbox key (we had just closed on the house and I needed the washer that came with the home). My realtor who has a front loader told me I needed a new gasket and steel braided lines instead of rubber. I told Catlin exactly what I wanted done. Catlin also sold me on having the dryer cleaned of lint and suggested I pay $189 plus $50 for the dryer and then get a credit for the service that was needed. First James the repair person called while I was still on hold with Catlin and then he texted he had 4 stops that day and didn't know if he could make it by 5 but would keep me updated, which he did. The he texted was I home? I told him no there was a lockbox the house is empty. He would NOT go without someone home. I told him that is not what I scheduled and what Catlin had said and told me that he didn't care what Caitlin told me he would not come without someone home. So I stopped what I was doing and scrambled to find someone that could be there as I was at work. Defeated the whole purpose. He kept texting so I arranged to have a friend be there in an hour and half or 3:30pm, however James did not arrive until about 4. Then he refused to replace the rubber lines with steel, he didn't want to replace the gasket it, said it would cost $500 but I got the feeling he it was a big job and he just didn't want to do it. Then he said he doesn't do the dryer vent cleaning. He did call me to discuss and I basically asked what I paid for? Nothing? Could he not service or check the machines out..he said he did, we shall see. So while James was nice and hopefully honest, the whole experience between calling and scheduling and being sold one thing and receiving another was not pleasant and as of right now I would not call Sears again for service.

William did a great job fixing our GE range hood. This item has been a longstanding issue for us, and he completed the repair/installation quickly and professionally.

Had an absolutely terrible experience with sears fixing my fridge a few months back. The tech that came out charged me $600 for one small part. When I said the price seemed extreme he said “we are the most expensive in town”. Oh thanks, good to know. My fridge still isn’t working right. All the scheduling is chat-bots and ridiculous communication. Do not use Sears- they’re a scam now.

The service tech called when he was on his way, about 30 minutes away. He was friendly and efficient. My appointment was for a yearly prevention maintenance check. He checked the 3 appliances thoroughly and answered a couple of questions for me.

Avery was on time, professional, and went the extra mile in cleaning up around the repair site. I was happy to see him return to install the broken part that was diagnosed at his first visit.
After I posted this review, I noticed that the problem with the refrigerator came back. I called Sears who sent a second person out to assess the situation. He looked at everything and said it was fine, even though the problem was still evident. Fast forward a month, I called out a second service to diagnose the issue, and they advised me that one of the electrical boards in my refrigerator was not working properly. Plus, the repair that Sears had made was also not working due to the failure of the printed circuit board. So in hindsight Sears did not diagnose the problem properly and I paid for a needless repair. -
On time, efficient and polite. A 5 star experience
