Apparently the company has gone under and is no longer honoring their contractual agreements! We have had nothing but terrible experiences with Universal Solar Direct since the very beginning. We should have NEVER trusted them!!!

Daniel was incredibly professional and efficient during the installation of my solar system. He made sure everything was done right and explained the process to me clearly. The panels are working perfectly, and I’m very satisfied with Daniel’s work.

Chelsea at Universal Solar is simply the best. I installed their panels 1 year ago and I am extremely pleased. The panels have produced more energy than I expected and it’s easy to monitor via an App on my iPhone. Chelsea has been outstanding at “checking in” and she is so responsive. This instills the utmost confidence in the product. Thank you Chelsea and Universal Solar.

Universal has been around longer than any other solar company here in the valleys Excellent sales support and knowledge of product and Solar energy at point of sale. Hugo knew his stuff compared to the other quotes. Install was fast and performed in an efficient and very clean way. After installation support fantastic. Universal Solar Direct stays with you long after the sale and installation. Performance estimates exceeded by over 10%.

Really happy, they are very good company. I definitely recommend them to friends and family. I never have issues with the system. They did a very good job installing it. It was smooth and quick and cleaned up after also. I’ve several questions and they respond quickly and are always polite. Everything is followed through.

Cody and Anthony knocked on my door, they were very professional, pleasant and adorable. at this point I had known nothing about solar. I agreed to have Cody come back and educate me on the benefits of switching to solar. He was polite, very educated and thorough in the explanation on the advantages of switching to solar and answered all of my questions comments and concerns, and i was enlightened about the concept of owning my power vs renting my energy from NV Energy. For me it was a no brainer to make the switch, unfortunately i have learned that only 3 in 5 homes qualify for their program. if you are interested in solar and can qualify, i highly recommend contacting Cody to educate you, as he did me.

I found Universal Solar to be a great company to work with. They worked quickly. They made things easy. They had great financing options. And they made sure everything worked 100% correctly. And they have followed-up to make sure everything is still going well. I would highly recommend them.

Update: I have now had the panels for about 1 year. I have not paid a power bill over $14 to NV Energy since the panels were activated. That includes our recent "historic" monsoon season. I had enough credits to get me through the worst weather. I am even happier now with my purchase through Universal Solar than I was when I first got them. Thank You Universal Solar!

Cody L. Is Beyond Fantastic! He and his team from Bell Solar are the reason why I went solar to begin with . Now , Bell Solar has come and gone BUT till this day almost 2 years after my install Cody has been there to help! It’s a breath of fresh air having someone who cares about the customers. Past , present and future , Cody will take care of you. If you go solar CODY IS THE MAN!

Tivon did a fantastic job installing my solar panels. He was very professional and knowledgeable, making sure everything was done to the highest standard. The system is performing perfectly, and I’m very happy with Tivon’s service.

BEWARE: These guys dont fix their own mistakes and will charge you for it. My panels were removed and replaced, by universal solar direct, as per their requirements. Then after they turned th panels back on, they worked for a month, then shortly after they stopped working. My house has been sitting vacant with no one touching the system. They charged me over $350 to come fix my panels that stopped producing energy after they were the last ones to touch it or do anything to them. Dont do business with this company, its a rip off

My husband and I have been pricing solar for the past few years as power has continued to rise. I have not felt comfortable with the companies I have contacted until a friend of ours told us about Universal Solar Direct. We made contact with Cody, who came to our house and went over everything in detail. He was very knowledgeable and professional and not high pressure. On Sunday i told Cody we would like to move forward, Monday they surveyed our house and pulled permits and wednesday at 7am the installers we ready. It was complete in 5 hours and Cody was there checking on his team. I can't wait to have it turned on. Thanks again Cody, you're the best

Seriously this was such an easy process from the first meeting. I had been researching solar and company's for a few years now and with USD , I felt what they offered above all the other company's I spoke with. And the installers were amazing. They configured everything to be such a clean looking job. From a no pressure sales team to the wonderful friendly tech support. So happy. Thank you USD.

Blake was our sales rep and he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Any questions we had he answered and if we gad any concerns he put our minds at ease before we even moved forward. They installed my system with American Made products, on time, and it has been seamlessly functioning ever since. They did not oversell me in the size of my system. I've consulted them three times since: twice to inquire and then install an EV charger, and once to question if my dusty panels needed cleaning to function at peak efficiency. They could have sold me a cleaning, but instead, they showed how my system output was unchanged by desert dust from when new and shiny

Do you stay in relationships where the only way to get anything done is be angry? Then please move on to another solar vendor.

Other than the initial sales call, we have not had positive interactions with this company. Some of it was annoying, other things - seriously problematic. Today they came to replace roof tiles broken during array installation. We found out about the damage at the end of original installation, when they put a large blue tarp on the roof - HOA was notified by us about the damage and tarp. Getting them here to fix it is another issue. They did not follow up as promised, we had to. Today they showed up with the wrong color tile and decided to pull tiles from under the array to install in the damaged area - we wanted it done so agreed - except....it's the wrong size tile as well. It's too small. Their team was on the roof installing the wrong color/size tile and didn't think to stop and say - hey - could this be a problem? After the work was done they stood at my door, not able to tell me when it's going to be fixed, not apologizing for the latest screw up - just rolling their eyes when I was angry and saying "I didn't install it". No - you didn't put the array in. You certainly installed the wrong color/wrong size tile today and see nothing wrong with it. If they had said to me "we just realized we have the wrong size tile" I would have said don't install it.

Experience tells me to be ready for the array to not work properly and have zero confidence in billing and longevity of product. I hate doing business with companies that require you to become the bad angry client before they take care of problems. I'm looking into fixing my own roof in order to maintain my warranty.

Based on performance, response and required agitation level to get this done - this will not be a successful relationship.
