I am writing a review on my personal experience on going Solar with Caballero Electric.

I have gotten many proposals about transitioning to Solar from several companies in Las Vegas. I see a lot of black felt fabric on roofs across the valley that have been and still are sitting since I started this process. This was not my experience.

Going SOLAR makes a 100% sense IF YOU DO THE LONG TERM MATH. Also, there is no inflation adjustments needed on production. I have purchased an EV, so it made even more logic to make the move.

My experience with Pier and George from Caballero Electric was great. They delivered everything promised; informed me of the steps during the process, and were completed with the installation and Commissioning of my project in about 2.5 months after signing the contract. THEIR PRICES WERE MUCH LESS THAN ANY COMPETITION. Some vendors stated that they will beat any offer, but could not get close to Caballero Electrics proposal price when I requested them to show me. They claimed that it would be shotty work, but there were no Permitting issues with the City and NV inspectors on Caballero’s workmanship. Everything passed, plus it’s warranted.

Good luck shopping, but when are exhausted, give Pier a call.

After many (and I mean many) months of debating about going Solar and interviewing some different companies, we selected Caballeros. Solar is expensive and can be scary. However, we were presented with a fair price and if done correctly, this can be a lifelong savings if paid off correctly. To be fair, everyone has their own finances and reasons to be Solar (or not). I personally wanted to eliminate the headache of not knowing what the electric company would charge us. With rising costs, I had to make a decision. Having solar, knowing my monthly won’t change, is the big win for me. I am very happy with how quickly they made this happen. I kept hearing it would take months and months and it didn’t. It’s been about four months since we have gotten the panels, and caballeros has been nothing but communicative with us, super nice and really just felt like they have our backs. They handheld us throughout the process (which I needed because I’m not the expert here). We had a panel stop communicating one day and they were fixing it literally in less than 24 hours. I wish more people would really dig in to the benefits and understand how this can be life changing. Thank you Caballero’s for changing our financial future because we plan to pay these off within two years and we won’t have an energy bill! At that time it’ll just be maintenance from there out!

The first person that came to install my batteries for my solar panels left for the day with out telling anyone leaving my garage door wide open and the tools all out in front. The supervisor came back later that day and said he would finish the job up the next day. My roommate waited for him and he then said there was too much work to be done and he would have to come back the next day.

That was almost a week ago. My roommate canceled his plans and waited all day without anyone showing up, calling or even sending a text. I have tried to call repeatedly and get disconnected immediately as if they have blocked my number. They have not responded to text messages either.

They also stuck me with the bill for having the power disconnected which is a $420 bill and they said oh, please send us that and we will reimburse you. They never have. I am talking with Sunnova the company that contracted them currently about a resolution and will be consulting with a lawyer next as there are open panels that may or may not be dangerous to touch and I have no idea weather my panels are working as I can see things are not connected and when I check online I only see estimated level since they started their work.

I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this company at all costs.

Update to this. After getting the owner or manager I don't remember involved they reimbursed me $400 of the $420 for the disconnect. I had to then complain again to get the $20 reimbursed.

In the end they did everything they were suppose to and the workmanship was good. It should not of been so difficult to get things done and I imagine they will be better moving forward. I change my rating to 3 stars as they lose 1 for the initial mess and 1 for having to go back and forth more than once for the reimbursement. If it was not for those issues the job was finished well.

These people really go above and beyond! We live such busy lives and we needed help with our system. Alex scheduled and promptly came over and restarted the system and patiently walked me through to set up and put the Apps on my phone and on my computer again.
And the office was very friendly and communicated great with me also!

Great, hardworking team. Starting with the office staff all the way to the ground team. They are a very knowledgeable company and have done a great job with installing my panels. Have recommended to my family and close friends and definitely would recommend them if you’re thinking of going solar.

It was fantastic to work with them. Their solar and battery integration was seamless. They coordinated with the nv energy, handled all interconnection paperwork, and showed me how to use the energy management app. Kudos to Miguel especially.

I had Caballero Electric install A Tesla charger on my garage wall. They were prompt for both the estimate and for the job itself. They took care of the permit and did an excellent job on the installation. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

I waited to post a review until I saw the system's performance over time; I had Caballeros install my solar system in May of 2022. The first Summer, my electric bill had gone down, but I still had to pay a portion of my normal bill. They had told me that this was normal, because I had to let one year go by before I could see the full impact of the solar system. Sure enough, last year and this year, so far, my bill has been around $18 each month. Caballeros delivered on their promise and more. They are honest and I paid less that other competitive quotes I had gotten. Overall, I am happy and would recommend them without a doubt.

I reached out to Caballero’s Electric from my neighbor and Im glad I did because their quote was almost half the price from another quote I received from a door salesman. I was even skeptical at first but that’s the commission mark up I guess. Caballero’s the actual contractor, no middlemen or salespeople. I trusted them with this project and Im satisfied with the end result. Good company, 5/5

Caballero is awesome! It's been 1.5 years since we got our panels. They made the installation a smooth process. Originally, my wife opted not to get pigeon guards in order to save money and because we rarely see any pigeons by us. However, our panels ended up attracting the pigeons so we recently reached out to Caballeros to install the guards. The second installation was also a smooth process! I'm glad we were able to add them on at a later date.

There were two times that the app notified us that something was not connecting the data from the system to the app and caballeros notified us and fixed it the next day. Super great team!

I hired Caballero’s Electric to upgrade my home’s wiring back in 2020. Over the past four years, I’ve never had a single flicker or breaker trip. Their work has paid for itself through reliability alone. The office staff is always friendly when I call for yearly inspections. These folks stand behind their work.

Only place that could give me top of the line panels with the right size to cover maximum area. A lot of places only had big panels resulting in less overall coverage. For example others could only fit 3 big panels in a given area but Caballero could fit 4 smaller ones in that area which resulted in more square footage covered. They can provide big panels too, but I needed 30 small ones with all the angles on my roof. They went through the attic to minimize the amount of conduit that showed. I compared to Costco and several others, Caballero beat them all. Quality work too.

Caballero 's electric is highly recommended for outstanding service and happy with our solar system. Entire process handled very well. They installed our solar system quickly and smoothly. Had a pigeon guard installed too. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

I had panels installed in January. My roof has a lot of ridges but they made good use of the space. Totally happy with the install.
The office was kind, informative. The crew was professional and they cleaned up the debris when they were finished. They came back a couple days later to replace some broken tiles, which I would not have noticed unless they brought it up. I appreciate their honesty and commitment to the craft. Highly recommend Caballero Electric, best installer in town.

We got our solar panels with this company and are so glad we did! The process was easy and all our questions answered. Our electricity bill has since plummeted to average like $10 a month! The fixed payments for the solar panels themselves is NOTHING compared the the $100s we would spend on electricity, especially during the summer!

Caballero’s Electric installed Solar panels and a system about two years ago. During the installation, the installation team was always friendly and courteous. The best part about this company is recently. There was an issue with the panel for my panels. I called Caballero and they were very friendly and quick to send a tech and fix the problem. They stand behind their work and are friendly about it. I highly recommend them if you are looking to install Solar.
