Eli and Galindo provide me the worse service I could never ask for more. they started a project at my house it’s almost a year and still is not complete , I won’t recommend them at all. There is no communication, I had all my invoices paid and still not done .
Just giving everyone heads up.
What they tell you is on back paver are on back order blocks are on back order and they never will call you back .They only care about your money and no finish the JOB.

Star Nursery is awesome! The team working here is very friendly and super helpful, and the plants are much more reasonably priced compared to competitors. It's a great place for sod too, as some places stop selling it after 100°s, and very reasonably priced sod as well! My favorite nursery so far!

A very diverse variety of perennials. From small potted plants to “large” trees. The employees are always very helpful. You can’t find a better source of irrigation supplies.

My husband and I bought a “fresh” Christmas Tree at Star Nursery on Cheyenne on Dec 2nd. Put it in water immediately when we got home and I fill it with water every day. It’s December 7 and the tree is almost dead. I am very unhappy with this purchase. I’m afraid the tree is going to catch on fire it’s so dry. I’ve tried to call Star Nursery several times but no one answers the phone. I will not be buying anything from Star Nursery again. Not a Merry Christmas for us.

The plants selections are good. The staff never ask to help. The carry-out guy had so much attitude. He didn't like being told what to do and how i wanted my sods placed in my vehicle (I didn't want dirt all over). Today, I bought 4 more pcs of sods. The carry-out guy got the sods and brought them to my car. However, he brought all the old sods that were very yellow and dying so i told him i want the new sods. He got annoyed and raised his voice "REALLY MA'AM"? I ask the forklift driver if he could give me 4 new pcs of sods, which he did. The staff need customer service taining. This store never answer their phone.

I love this location. They have a little bit of everything. I have bought gardening gloves, diatomaceous earth, hose pipe, plants, vegetables, herbs, flowers, seeds, pots, soil, mulch, and even potato chips at the checkout. They can be a little more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe's, but their flowers, vegetables, and plants are a better quality. If you have a green thumb, they have the mark down flowers near the front for only .48 cents. I have literally made an assorted flower basket on the front with those and they look great. They do have great sales and everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. The best part is you can bring your dog shopping. My Chihuahua loves to come and sniff everything ❤.

They have a good choice of different shrubs and trees. Some are on sale but they don't have a tag to notify so I wouldn't know. I bought several plants and it was nice to find out that were half price. Staff is friendly. Cute Christmas trees are available. Nice place.

I tried calling Star Nursery on cheyenne to inquire about ordering a treee on 2/272024 twice during their Morning hours. The phone rang for
30 minutes each time with no one answering. Ridiculous

Customer service and understanding are lacking. Make sure to read the return policy even with a receipt. Supervisor Lisa wasn’t helpful.

Great selection. Friendly people in back area. Not so much in front. Had heavy pots and were told they’d help in front. Asked for cardboard to go between pots. In front they said not available. Parked in loading area to load pots and after we were done with no help someone came up and told us that we could not use loading area. That’s when I decided to leave review. If employees are not willing to assist with heavy items there needs to be a way to park so we don’t have to drag them through the parking lot.

The nursery is really nice they have a lot plant they're good prices too. I just really wish they would update their Google times. I know they have different hours during different seasons but 3 ppl pulled up around 5 when I did because it was closed and Google Said it would close at 6. They do give military discount. You should stop by to look at the turtles too they're nice and big ready for some soup.

Update: After 8 years I'm still shopping here for most of my herbs and annuals. They are close, friendly and competitively priced. Love this place!
Nice, friendly employees for the most part. Prices are a bit higher than most places for almost everything but plants and rocks which are in line with the rest of the nurseries.

Always a great selection of beautiful and healthy plants at incredible prices. We love this place ❤

My first time here. I Loved this place! The good energy from all the beautiful plants was awesome! They even have a waterfall with big goldfish and a couple of birds! The customer service was great as well! And as we were leaving the security guard even said have a great day! Couldn't get any better then that!

The manager at this location is horrible. I asked for him because I had questions about railroad ties for residential landscapes. The railroad ties we had bought smelled so toxic we had to remove them immediately. I Googled this after the fact and found that using railroad ties was a big mistake, so I wanted to let them know in case they didn't know. In a nutshell, "Every EPA site said the same thing about the main preservative in old railroad ties: 'Creosote is a possible human carcinogen and has no registered residential use.' So it's actually illegal to use old railroad ties in a home landscape." Shame on me for not doing my research first. So, first, the manager didn't even say hi or look at me, which was odd and uncomfortable. Second, he treated me as if I were crazy and said that railroad ties are fine for residential landscapes and vegetable gardens. Anyway, I didn't expect the manager to be so rude and roll his eyes like he did. It made me feel so bad I never want to go to this store again.

They didn't quite know what to plant my joshua seed in, but they did know why my fruit trees are looking crispy.

UPDATE: I am very displeased with my visit today. It's sad how still to this day this location remains lacking customer service. I am a regular customer and almost every single time no one is available to help or they are clueless on their product. How can you literally have 6+ employees standing around laughing when there are available "closed" registers and a line of customers? I am no longer returning to this location again.

Only giving this place a 2 star rating because despite my experience today, they have a really good selection of indoor and outdoors plants at great prices. However, you need to train your staff to have better customer service and more knowledge about the products you're selling. I had asked THREE different workers (including the cashier) about 2 plants I was looking at. The only people who even had a clue about anything were in the front of store, and even then she did not answer my questions. You work here, shouldn't you know? Again, not trying to throw this place under the bus because you do have a decent selection, but if you want your customers to be happy then you need to actually do your job.

Bought several house plants today and the cashier had such a horrible attitude. And as I was walking out, the wind pushed them all off my cart and were rolling all over the floor and no one from inside of the store was willing to help me. They just stared at me as I tried my best to pick them all up and keep them from damaging more. It was such an awful experience. Eventually a young outside worker noticed what happened and rushed to help me. He was the only positive thing from this whole experience. Horrible service and attitude from the cashiers.

Very nice. A few vegetables I was looking for were out of stock. They need more cashiers because the lines were long. Forklift driver was great he Put the dirt bags just perfect into the truck bed.

I am a constant customer of Star Nursery and cannot say enough positive things about my shopping experience when needed assistance from Gary, the nice gentleman that handles sprinkler and plumbing sections.
Gary has a wealth of knowledge, experience and awesome customer service attitude.
