Matt is extremely unprofessional. He strings me along for 3 weeks just to try and find my leak in my pool coming over but doing no work. Then he called me and I answer"whats up" and he goes on a tyraid saying I have a attitude because I didn't say hello, so he canceled on me. You can't make this stuff up if you try. Matt never wanted this job IMO, he had other jobs and didn't want to drive to Henderson. Stay away from this guy, he is all over the place. Very unprofessional.
Update: so after 1 year Matt decided to respond to my review and distort what happened. I never said I didn't have money and the reason you didn't charge me is because you never did any work and would conveniently forget the equipment you needed. Thanks for making my point that you were unprofessional. If you don't like my review then fix the problems and I would be thrilled to give you a great review.

We received great communication and prompt service. While we were out of town they worked with a friend of ours to get the job done. Second time using Nevada Leak Detection and would definitely recommend.

My updated response to the owner: shutting pool pumps off is common sense in a situation like that. The fact that you referred to me as a handyman is comical since thats not what my job title is. If you can't tell the difference between structural cracks and minor surface cracks...you should probably find a new industry to be in.

Had an appointment with this guy at my CEOs house for a pool leak. He showed up with crocks on, sprayed some water on the dry spots of the pool and said "yep, pool needs a full renovation and will cost $70,000" 🤣. Had another company do a pressure test, the test and a pipe replacement... cost was $800. Problem solved.

We received notices that we had a water leak.  It was determined that it was an outside leak and the pipes had gone bad from the house to the street.  We contacted Matt Henderson from Nevada Leak detection and found his rate was significantly lower than two other companies that we contacted for a quote.  They all came to the same conclusion but had different approaches to solving the repair.  We felt that his solution would provide the best solution both aesthetically and functionally to the issue. He put the new pipes in the wall instead of leaving them exposed outside of the wall. He even switched out the valves on our water softener to avoid future problems.  The work was exactly as promised.  He completed the work quickly.  We have rock landscaping and a few plants and everything was put back exactly the way he found it. The work was very neat and the drywall and concrete cuts that he had to make were done by a perfectionist.  I would absolutely use his services again.  We hated that we had to spend money on something like this repair but we felt confident that we made the right choice.

Matt and Nevada Leak Detection were unrelenting in finding a leak within a large commercial property. Ultimately, they located an underground leak completely undetectable from above. Could not recommend them more!

I had a small leak that was causing my water meters last digit to turn over every few seconds. Although I did not get any notice from the Henderson Water Department about excessive usage, I was able to compare my bill to my neighbors and found mine was higher with less occupants. I was able to determine I had a irrigation system problem some where but could not find it because there was not any obvious wet spots or puddling. Matt and his assistant came out with their detection devises and found I had a faulty irrigation valve. Very satisfied with the all around service provided: attention to detail, explanation of problem and cost of repair.

Fast forward the next day he came out and started to run a new line for me and even installed a shutoff in the garage for me.

The entire process was fast and efficient and far more affordable than what I imagined a fix like this to be.

As a tradesman myself I was highly impressed with the quality of work that was done and how fast his team got my house back in order.

I knew I had a leak as my water bill has been increasing significantly every month for the past 6 months. I replaced all my irrigation, but that didn't affect it. In fact, the leak was getting worse. After getting my highest water bill ever, I called the City of Henderson and they confirmed the increase was likely due to a leak.
I called Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection. He did an incredible job! He gave me the most affordable bid I got, although he was very upfront that it could change, as a lot would depend on what he found when he started digging. (THAT is a scary thought!) Ultimately, this leak repair could have ended up being MUCH more expensive. Most of the other bids I'd received were thousands more, and most came with quite the "dog & pony show" - when I just wanted to know where the leak was and what it would take to fix it.
I hoped I wasn't shooting myself in the foot by going with the most conservative bid just because I wanted to save money. But Matthew clearly wasn't out to take advantage, as time proved. He knows how these other plumbing companies operate and he sets himself apart with his knowledge of plumbing. He appreciated my concerns. I felt he cared about finding the best, most affordable solution for me.
After replacing the valve near my house, it was evident the leak was not in the water main (which everyone else had said they would dig up - JUST FOR STARTERS!) The bad news was this meant it was between the front yard and my garage, where my PRV (Pressure Regulator Valve) was. This could have been a nightmare.
Instead of searching for the pipes, Matthew remembered I'd told him my neighbors with the same floor plan had a similar experience two years ago - and asked if he could see what they did to determine where the main water came in, instead of cutting apart my garage to find the root access that was buried in the wall somewhere. CRITICAL THINKING... How rare! Sure enough, that helped a ton.
Matthew ran the new line under my front walkway and up into the garage with a TINY hole in the drywall and stucco. He insulated the exposed pipes as well as everything he'd put in the ground.
Can you believe the builder didn't even give me a shut off valve at the PRV when they built this house 26 years ago? I have one now! This is thanks again to Matthew, who found the very best way to accomplish this. (BTW, several other plumbers had said it couldn't be done without replacing the PRV along with half the plumbing in the wall!)
Do I need to go on? :-) I'm thrilled. I have a corroded Manabloc plumbing system with polybutylene pipes which are not covered by ANY insurance plan, and guess who I'm going to call to replace it as soon as possible? Yes - Matthew at Nevada Leak Detection.

I was referred buy a friend who used Nevada leak detection.my friend had a pool leak under the deck which Matt took care of. I thought I may have a leak on the water supply between the meter and my house. I called Matt on a Thursday around 11:00 am he said he would come out after he finished the job he was working on. Around 5:00 pm he showed up he checked a few spickets and some of my bathrooms he had determined it was a main line leak. I wasn’t sure, he told me how much it would be to repair it. Matthew arrived within hours of me calling his company and in a matter of minutes he was able to detect the source of the leak originating from the main waterline. After just a day of filing a claim with the insurance company and approving Matthew to complete the replacement of the existing waterline, Matthew and his team started and completed the job within 2 days, not to mention the fact that they did this during Thanksgiving weekend! Now I have a brand new waterline and a new exterior shut off valve system that no longer connects to the outside faucet. If I could give no stars I would. We’ve been waiting over 6 hours from our initial appointment window. Called them 7 times and they kept saying in 30 minutes. They have no idea where their technician is. They called to confirm the address. I’m honestly baffled at the audacity of these people. They want to charge me $65 for them being awfully late. I’ve had plans they gave me a window and I’m just p-o’d. Rediculous. I don’t recommend them at all. They said sorry for the confusion??? What confusion is there. You being way late... passed my initial wait window. Ugh. Didn’t even try to make it right. I will not accept bad service. You either do what you say or don’t do it at all.
